Praise the lord brother Dome. A great video to lift the spirits from a very wet berkshire. I wish I knew what you know and talk about when I was your age, and I am grateful to receive the wisdom. The fitness thing is a massive gig. I don't like doing it but I feel really good for it. It's a win-win situation for physical and mental health. Thank you very much
Thanks, it means a lot to hear that. I am trying to work on being smarter and more mentally resilient so it's nice to have that echoed back in some way. Fitness definitely helps so much. I stopped doing cardio for a while but I'm now doing really long walks again and it's crazy how much better I feel. Plus I fall asleep almost instantly now instead of staying up thinking for two hours every night.
@@BigDome1 Worth looking at meditation if you want to calm a busy mind. I have a song in my head or some other useless shit spinning about, 20 mins a day really helps
@@thewavesmith5754 I've done it quite a lot over the years but never build a regular routine of it, I'm not sure why. I know it's really helpful, I really should do it more.
Bad luck on the exam, Much of the divisive factors in driving tests just seems to be luck. You'll get it next time. Keep up with the videos, they have true value.
Thanks dude, I hope that's true. Tbh I think I was millimetres away from passing my second one, so you're probs right to some degree. Now I've kind of adopted a "whatever will be, will be" approach to it and have accepted that even if it takes 10 attempts I'll pass eventually. Thanks for the great feedback on the vids too.
Doing lessons as well in London, fucking hate it 😂, not sure why I'm spunking £100s on lessons for the privilege to spend another few grand to drive a polluting death machine
It's awful isn't it? I actually don't mind the driving part, being on the motorway is pretty fun, but the classes and exams are the worst. I feel I would learn a lot better if I had a car to drive around by myself at my own pace.
I semi-regret even starting, but I've spent so much on it now I have to continue. I will eventually need a car though so it's probs for the best.

Yeah so does mine. You'd think they'd have figured out a nicer design by now.
We don't really know what happened, we woke up one night and she was scrambling around on the floor with her back legs completely paralysed, we think she did the splits on the wooden floors and gave herself IVDD, so the past few months we've been frantically trying to make sure she doesn't re-injure herself. She's doing well but requires basically constant supervision, which is kind of difficult. Luckily we both work from home.
@@BigDome1 Boxing/climbing helmets might be a bit better. I imagine the vet fees would be astronomical and I do hope she gets better
@@andrewandrews7427 tbh, we're lucky in that vet fees here are very low compared to other places. But unlucky in that we cancelled our insurance a few months prior!
She's doing really well now though all things considered, recovering much faster than expected. Thanks 🙏
