Despite all of the craziness that has been 2020, for fans of football boots designed specifically for Speed, it's been an amazing year! While there are quite a few really good options, I figured I'd compare the 3 best option from the 3 biggest brands, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Elite, the Adidas X Ghosted.1 and the Puma Ultra 1.1. What are the differences, which one do I think is the best, and perhaps most importantly, which ones should you buy? If you're struggling to choose between them, this video should help you out. Pure Grip socks and Sleeves are great, My 10 year old loves them said it made her foot feel so secure in her boot and loved that she can take off the sleeve after the game and change her shoes to go into a store.

@@Daquan0394 definitely in the low ratings, idk if I'd put it at 1 but it's certainly down there. Very translucent, with its skin you can see the faint colour of your socks. Because of its thin one piece and "vacuum tight fit" it flares out at your ankles ever so slightly. It's thin that you can push your toes up and see the indent on the forefoot(?). It's thin but stiff so it will definitely need some breaking in because boy are they tight

I think adidas has the perfect cleats, synthetic speed boot(x), knit feeling speed boot(nemeziz), power boot (preds), and leather boots( copas).

Any solution for Puma long studs? Gave up on evospeed and king platinun after few tries. Now that Ultra feels great, wanna know any idea how to get used to the long studs? It gets into the way alot
You should make a similar video for leather boots, I'm debating whether to buy a tiempo / king platinum / Rebula 3/cup / morelia zero / copa etc
I have the tiempo legend 8, and I have to say its my favoutrite boot ive worn in the past 13 years of playing. My current lineup in phantom vision 1 (knit), tiempo legend 8 (leather), puma furture 5.1 SG (soft ground). I have always perfered leather boots, but the legend 8 is on another level. I used to love the 2010 preds, the OG hypervenom, and im actully a big fan of the 5.1 (I'm actully thinking about buying it in FG now that its discounted), but 100% I Love the Legend 8. The diamond texturing is pointless, but the leather is so soft regardless and it is such a good touch on the ball. And then the quadfit keeps your foot secure so good so the lockdown and responsiveness is honeslty up their similar to the X Ghosted.1 I recokon. Some people complain about the flyknit tunnel, I genunly cannot notice it ingame, so thats not a problem for me. I havent tried the others on your list, but I can't praise the tiempo's high enough!
Maybe compare and rate the control boots of 2020!
Would be interested in a "Black" leather boot eps. to rate the classic leather boots like: Asics Testamonial, Lotto Stadio, Puma King, Adidas Copa Mundial, Umbro Speciali, Diadora Brazil and Mizuno Morelia. Hope to se that one day.

As someone who plays on AG, I went with the Merc. I was disappointed that they used a big standard, same as all the rest AG soleplate on the Ghosted, and Puma can label their boots FG/AG all they want, that is far too aggressive a stud pattern for AG.
It's a shame, because I really like what the other boots offer from an FG standpoint

How are these boots in terms of durability? Fields here in the Philippines tend to be hard ground and some even have small rocks and gravel (In natural fields). This caused issues with separating the wings of the forefoot side of the split sole in the Vapor 12s and thin chevron studs or studs made of transparent plastic tend to get worn out very quickly. Any suggestions for boots with more durable outsoles and studs?

For the most part, I feel like the Neo series, mainly because they're leather, don't compare as well to the more "mainstream" speed boots. They're excellent boots, but if you're considering those, you're probably not looking at any of these three.

I don´t think the sole plates are copies of the Mercurial. To me, the eleven studs is well proven formula and the triangular/chevron/triangular are most agresive stud shapes. I like Copa Mundial style studs. It is simple the best way to do it. The F50 had a very similar stud pattern from 2010-2014. Very few people prefered the 2015 version. The Evospeed had three studs on the heel instead of four only to make it different. For natural grass, I think thank stud pattern is the most solid and every boot should have a variation of it, with conical or shorter studs.
I have to say, that Puma Ultra is the best colourway yet so far
I was going to get the puma ultras and pair them with the pure grips socks but I think it is a waste of money because neither have ACC

It would not be my first choice for use on AG. None of these stud pattern are great for use on AG in my opinion.
