I think UniSport covered these a while back and they said they prefer the .1 over the + because it has the same outsole with the added lockdown of laces. Can't say much about the f50's.

If they could take the upper of the Copa 20+, and use the heel construction of this boot, along with the soleplate and pattern, that would be sick! Realistically though, I though a leather X would need and should have laces.

In my younger days (almost 30) I used to play with leather boots, and/or AZ T90.
What does a brand have to do nowadays, to bring the leather boots into the Spotlight again, specially PUMA, that used to have the top dogs like our Eusébio.

Really wish they'd made this shoe with Mirageskin and the same heel construction with LACES. The .1 seems like a great shoe but it sucks that it has a less premium upper and heel. The laceless does look fuego though.
The upper, despite technically being different, feels almost exactly the same IMO. The heel liner is arguably better on the .1 as well.

Hi Josh, I've found some good black Friday deals on some Mizuno boots and I am looking to buy 2 pairs out of 4. Which 2 would you pick out of the Morelia Neo 3 Beta Elite ($165), Rebula 3 MIJ ($200), Rebula Cup Elite ($190) or Rebula Cup MIJ ($250)? Also do you think the Rebula Cup MIJ is worth the extra $60 over the Elite and are the SG soleplates of these boots good compared to the FG models?
If you want something thin and light, Neos are a great choice. I prefer the Rebula Cup over the Rebula 3. I've not yet tried the Rebula Cup Elite, so I can't comment on how they compare to the MIJ model.

Josh, on cracking. I recently notice a crack on my C6 Agility shinguards. Have you ever had problem with yours? I was surprised, as I considered them has close to perfection as possible. I assume they still work.

Football boots don't exactly enhance attributes. They're marketed as such, but the reality is that you need to pick your boots based on your own personal preferences when it comes to fit and feel. Your position and playing style isn't much of a factor.

They're technically not branded as FG/AG anymore, and the FG stud pattern in particular isn't very well suited for use on artificial grass.
How stiff is this soleplate compared to the superfly III's? Because call me crazy but I really enjoyed how stiff that shoe was
These aren't stiff in the traditional sense. There's lots of structure from the carbon insert, but it designed to flex/bend when force is applied. Because it's targeted to the forefoot rather than the entire soleplate, it moves way more naturally with your foot compared to the carbon plates found on early Superfly models.

It's effectively molded plastic, so they'll never lose their shape.

Why don’t they ever think to add a pump system to laceless boots to take up the extra space to make it a better fit.
Weight, durability concerns, bulk, along with other potential issues. You also need some significant structure to the boots in order for the pump system to be effective, something that you just don't want in a football boot. I'm sure they could make it work, but I'm not sure sure it would actually be very good.

Assuming that you're talking about the boots in this video, sizing US sizing is the same as the Mercs, although the overall fit is a fair bit different because of the shape and laceless design.
