At this point, you literally must have been living under a rock if you haven't heard about Neymar making the big switch from Nike to Puma! It shocked everyone, and has since brought a ton of new attention and interest to the Puma brand. The question is, aside from Neymar getting paid, was this the right decision? @@sante4782 better than anything other 2 offer.. i was adidas guy before. Once i heard the reviews of Puma future 19.1 i switched. Haven't looked back now. Now using future 5.1. one if the most comfortable studs I've ever wore. For me, having wide and flat feet, my performance was always bad with bad fitting nemesis and even new copas.. but puma fixed that immediately

When it comes to sizing, I’m wearing those in my usual 9.5 US and the fit and the length is perfect. So if you are looking in ordering a pair of these, I would strongly recommend going true to size in order to achieve the best possible fit

Wore the Puma One 5.1 last year and switched to the Puma King Lazertouch and they've both been AMAZING. Was a Nike Mercurial guy before the stud pressure was too much. Shame too because I really loved the barefoot feel on the ball.

Just bought puma ultra 1.1 from prodirect, haven’t arrived yet but can’t wait to try them out
To me, the King platinum is almost perfect. It’s gorgeous, slick, light, thin and soft but not plush. The only thing I’m worried about is durability. I feel sole separation can be a huge problem. I tested my pair three times and then put them back in the box because of that fear.

Puma future is good but i had some issue regarding the comfort cauz i have wide feets and i just switched it from nemeziz which is very much comfy

Unless you have not watched earlier,many many years prior to Neymar making a move to Puma,Josh always had given them the most amount of credit than other channels did. You can, and it won't damage the shoes, but depending on the turf, you likely won't have very good traction.

Hey jackamo, what boot currently on the market is the thinnest in terms of width, I have extremely thin feet and find bunching up and lock down/sloppy-ness to be an issue.
Mercurials are cut the slimmest out of pretty much anything.

It depends on your foot size tbh. I have the elite 7s right now and love the feel, but for people with wider feet it may be a bit tight.

I'm considering getting the puma one 1 or the puma future 4.1. Which is better for wide foot?
I prefer the Puma One, and it's the better option for wide feet. That's not to say that the Future 4.1 would work, but it's a much stiffer upper.

Hey SR4U, I’ve a pair of relatively older adidas (model from 2012-2014). They have no external heel counter, so my feet do slip side to side. Is this common with all cleats that don’t have an external counter? Do you find modern boots without a heel counter having this same issue? Interested in buying a signature boot since I’m playing consistent now, particularly synthetic upper (gotta save the animals, one pair at a time). Thanks!
It's very unlikely that the heel counter, whether it's internal or external is the cause of slippage. It sounds like the boots just don't properly. Typically if they're too big, that can be an issue, although some boots will also have a shape that just doesn't work with the shape of your feet. Without more specific information, I can't really pinpoint why you're having this problem.

The King Platinum is pretty much a simplified, and I would argue better version of the evoTouch. Definitely the closest comparison.

They do not. Their current line runs true to size across the board. I talk about the fit and sizing in more detail in the video.
These future boots are really good and comfortable, but i did not like the material they are made from. For example when it rains, they soak up loads of water and it isnt good,

It's more so a case of two boots being very different from each other, rather than one being better than the other. Both are good, just different. It depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.

To be honest, as a pretty good footballer myself,,,,, I never understand this concept behind boots. I've owned a pair of reebok, to a pair of nikey, to a pair of Adidas, back to nikey, and currently Adidas.
My peformance never flactuated based on football boots, it was a matter of me doing my job on the pitch, be it artificial grass, football grass or on hard soil. I guess here in Africa its more about what you can do with the ball not what the BRAND tells you about its new release of boots.
Not gon lie tho, the Pink Adidas Nemeziz 19.4 [current pair] is my second best buy of boots behind the Orange Nike Hypervenom from 2016 ( this judgement still based on my peformance LMAO!!)
I would mention some excellent players who wear unbranded boots but the whole internet world would start bugging me

It’s a updated Puma King which is one of the best Kleather boots in history worn by true legends like Maradona and Pelé so the best description is it’s a Puma King with a modern sole plate combined with a modern lace and ting style but it has the leather and feel is a puma king. If you like the feel only Kleather gives you but want a updated modern design can’t go wrong with The puma king platinum. Personally I’m torn between the king and Copa20.1s both great leather boots.

Why are the Mizuno boots so expensive when it is so mainstream?
Made in Japan. Look into the process. It's far more detailed and time consuming compared to the average football boot construction, not to mention the quality of leather they use and the much lower production numbers. An extra $20 or so over some top-end Nike and Adidas models, in my opinion, isn't that crazy.
The Ultra 1.1 is around 170$ in the only story in my city that sells puma football boots
