My ONLY complaint with Mercs, were the lack of midfoot/arch support ... stoked to see how these feel with the new, stud plate spine addition.
The AG stud pattern is completely new!

Definitely have to get the Vapors. Just hearing that the internal lining is the soft part makes me want these a whole lot more caz I have problems with my big toe feeling uncomfortable because of a more plasticy lining.
Mercurial boots from 2016-18 have been my best.. Too much comfort
Its a nice colourway but when josh pulled that vapor 13 that hits different🤤
The vapor 13 were so soft on my feet and they molded really good to and i have really wide feet

Bought these to replace my Puma one 1 and all I could say is that it has a better lock down feel and feels light on the feet. It took only a few minutes to break in and after that it just feels natural on the feet.

Due to Nike's new advanced technology the ACC tech on the bag is inspired by a duck (a fast one) and does not get wet when rained on. ;)

Great review. These feel just like the 13s and I quite like the synthetic top layer. What have they done to the laces though?! They feel awfully cheap.
Josh make short ankle grip socks. its the most innovative thing you can do. its for the people that hate sock tanlines and want to not have crazy high tanlines on their leg!
Would like to see the dragonfly theme personified through the next few colorways.... maybe a darker green/metallic gold..... or a blue/metallic gold. 💥💥

Thank you for the review ! I have a question regarding sizing.. I always went with 10.5 US on all my Nike shoes (vapor, hypervenom, superfly) but with the Vapor XI, I had to go with 11 US... What do you recommand ?
Will they stretch enough if 10.5 is too small at first ?

Do you know why my feet hurt in the mid foot area when I wear the x ghosted.1? In the past I’ve been wearing the 18.1 and the 19.1 but as soon as I switched to ghosted.1 my feet started to hurt in the mid foot area
No matter how many nike cleats I buy, I always go back to the adidas predator. But Nike always has some great colour ways.

Although the feel of the 14’s vs the 13’s is nearly an identical feeling when you try them on; playing in the 14’s is a completely different story. My son said they are a lot more comfortable when you start playing. Heard the same from another reviewer as well.

Please get a on feet/used review up on that new AG soleplate. One of the best things about the Mercurials has been that super AG-Pro soleplate, I have been using it for the last 3 years and it saved my dodgy old knees but still had a grass boot feel. My younger son uses AG-pro Vapors on both on grass and 4G saving 2 pairs of boots. This new plate looks AG only and more like a Turf plate.
Nike is smart they want us to buy two pairs unfortunately i guess, I had done the same thing with the ag pro mercurials

Hi Josh!, I really love these boots. But our team play a lot on AG and I don’t know if the black bits will get in the boot through the little tip at at the back of the boot. I have not had that problem with the vapor 13 so I’m wondering if I will have that problem with this boot or not.

They should have kept the superflys knit. Could’ve finally had some difference in the two
I went to the Nike By You page for these boots to check wether they had changed the AG-pro sole plate in any way. Turns out they’ve removed the AG-pro sole plate and replaced it with a Normal AG sole plate very similar to the Superfly 4/Vapor 10 AG sole plates. Do you know why they’ve done this, or if it’s just temporary until the boots’ proper release?
I feel like there is a big misconception of ACC. Yea it doesn’t work but it’s not designed to be the waterproofing coating of the boot. It’s designed to keep consistent grip in wet conditions.
Saying ACC doesn’t work because your feet still get wet is like saying you paid water bill so you’re not sure why your energy was turned off.
Nike needs to bring the ctr concept back
I assume the "05" is the hold down of the foot into the boot. The hold seems to be from the top of the foot to the achilles.

Don’t care for this colorway, feels more like a tech showcase than a launch color. However the NikeID combos that can be made look pretty good. I’d have a hard time buying these over the last gen at a discount... If I wanted a more synthetic upper I’d probably go ghosted
