If you guys need an overnight in South Lake Tahoe let us know. We have a spot on the lake and would be glad to host you. Access to the lake and kayaks included. We are on the East shore - Zephyr Cove area. Would be glad to provide transport. Have loved watching your adventure!

Birdie’s hair and beard are looking wild. He is morphing into a John the Baptist type character, wearing camels hair and eating wild honey and locusts in the dessert.😮 He definitely has a prophetic nature about him.

Looks like the folks at Carson Pass weren't at the station, they usually have at least some drink and snacks for the PCT hikers. Hike on, be safe.

I have really enjoyed watching your videos! I am not someone who posts. But I have a suggestion which you may already be aware of but i haven’t seen any TH-cam channel talk about. I hiked and white water kayaking for around 25 years and this the one thing I never left home without…the Original ShamWow! It absorbs 10x its weight. Lay a sock or shirt or whatever on it roll it up and squeeze. Then ring out the ShamWow. Repeat until you have removed as much moisture as you can. Hang to dry. When cold weather hiking I would put it all (not shoes) in my sleeping bag with me so my body heat would finish drying everything and be warm to put on in the morning. For me it was worth the effort to be able to have dry warm socks and clothes to put on in the morning. It is also wonderful for getting rid of the water in your tent from condensation or rain or accidental spills. You both are doing great! Happy Trails!

I carried a shamwow on the AT but it didn't hold up. I picked up a swimmers shammy and it was the best! I had a dynemma tent and I could get it almost completely dry and would help others dry their tent. It was one of my favorite pieces of gear

5:07 Don't forget that Far Out is also an excellent tool for fear-mongering, to spread fear, uncertainty and doubt in your fellow hikers. OMG I almost died here. Get off the trail. Don't come up here unless you want to die too. 🤣

You have awesome videos of life on PCT ! When you're crossing those very steep snow bank sides that at times slippery please take out your ice ax. That's you're breaking mechanism so you don't slide into the rocks! It's good that you put on your m0ini spikes! I don't want you to get hurt. Be safe please.

Awesome! By the time you get to Cascade Locks ant PCT Trail Days you guys are going to be asked for selfie pics and autographs. Mosquito’s are nasty. I hate needing to hide in my tent.

Out of interest, (maybe I missed it and you shared before) why did you start out on the Arizona Trail before starting the PCT? Thanks for the demo of the Far Out App - it looks brilliant but I notice that subscription to PCT is less expensive than subscription to AT trail which is not as long. Strange??

Mosquitoes, rub on some Yarrow when you come across them.
