The new music definitely caught me off guard, although it could sound better. Have you considered asking the person who made the Amped Up soundtrack to help you? I know it’s not the first priority to the community but I am telling you the music in that mod is incredible. Other than that nice port of this map! I think this is agreed upon the most recognizable map in a Mario game.
The pupils could be a bit larger to better match the original Chain Chomp model, but all the models in OverKart64 were rebuilt for optimal performance, and so they won't be identical to their counterpart games.
It sounds like you're having trouble with an Android emulator and getting a copy of the game running. It's possible it doesn't work in your emulator. Not only the Chain Chomp is white but its pupils aren't drawn correctly.
