I might not agree with everything you have said but this is one well made video, you really took the show to heart and researched all the minute details. I didn't even realise Dios never wore a rose and what that means for Utenas memory of the scent!

The takes are so dense and academic and informative, I end up having to pause, think, take notes, and watch/listen a few times to take it all in. Amazing work. Am wondering though if years later you still stand by all these points, or whether some of your ideas and views have changed?
I re-listen to them all from time to time and while I occasionally think of another point I left out, or something I could have explained more clearly, I still stand behind all of the ideas presented. Thanks for watching!

Not currently! I might eventually put them up as essays on tumblr as well, but I prefer the video essay as the right medium because of how visual utena is as a show. Thank you for watching

The one speculating about Kanae was from a series of tumblr meta posts that I can't currently find due to the utena meta tag always being flooded.. but I'm keeping an eye out and I'll link if I find them again.
I'm pretty sure the essays shes referencing are from a blog called palaceperspective on tumblr, I could be wrong but theyre good essays regardless imo and were some of the first critical analysis of utena I had ever read.
