Can cheap coffee pods really give you great coffee?

Coffee pods can be expensive, so I visited 3 of the UKs cheapest Supermarkets to test their coffee pods to see how good they make an espresso.

As someone that uses coffee pods exclusively for coffee at home, there definitely is a fine line between getting a good value on pods and getting something that actually tastes anything remotely like coffee. It can be done though......

Oh definitely, a few cents can make the difference. Dont get me wrong, there is definitely better coffee out there, but these did well for their cost

They are sold in a UK shop called Poundland, they're a big chain but dont sell online.

I could do, do we have posh shops around here. The Waitross in Leek was turned to Lidl
