The Zenbook 14 Flip OLED featuring a 360 degree ErgoLift hinge to be adapt to any situation, as well as the Zenbook 14X OLED with its impressive performance and dedicated graphics. For me the 14 flip is very useful as student its pretty cool to easily switch to tablet in just flipping the loptop . And of course the display , features of 14 flip will be satisfied and no regrets to buy or use....❤
Because of the battery draining faster on gaming and stuff like that on the 14X I think it makes more sense to just buy one that's specifically for gaming. The 2-1 factor of the Flip would be really useful for every day use.
Oh, one advice folks: do not ever buy a model with the light-colour keyboard as in certain situation you will not see the letters on the keyboard. The backlight will just make them literally not visible.

Just bought the 14 Flip, I would have probably switched to the 14x if I'd seen this before, but happy with my purchase nonetheless. I love the 2 n 1 and my previous laptop was an Asus 2 in 1 which I had for 7+ years with little to no issues.
ASUS had a model last year, Zenbook Flip S 13 OLED which was 1.1kg which is the prefect weight for a convertible laptop. That model also had the a MicroSD card reader. Essentially, if the 14 Flip was 1.1kg weight and MicroSD card reader, and a anti-glare coating, it would've been the perfect convertible for me

Yes... as a student myself and a light user, I would love me some 14 flip due to it's versatility. It's pretty cool to switch from a laptop to a tablet by only flipping it to the other side hahaha.

I used to love Asus when i was younger. Think they have the first touchscreen laptop i had seen at the time
Hi! If I didn't like an ipad or a MacBook more now, I'd go with the Zen 14 flip because it's also nicer to use, but I have an older MSI laptop that I can play games on. If I go to university again, it would be better to have a lighter laptop. However, in the future I want either an iPad or a MacBook, because I have never had them before. Thanks for the explanatory videos, it is always necessary and good to learn something new! ☀️
I was actually considering these laptops when I was looking for a new laptop. However, I decided on a MBA M2 13-inch. These two laptops are great though. Great video!

I have a 15" Vivobook Pro myself and loving it.
I'm thinking between the 14" Zenbook Flip 14 OLED in the video OR the exact same 14" Vivobook Flip OLED. The Vivobook as a better front camera and different ports but the Zenbook is said to have a better hinge life. They even weight the same. Any experience? So basically Zenbook Flip or Vivobook Flip?

Both superb computers! It’s just a matter of preference. Personally, I would chose the 14X because of the better “buttery smooth” display and more power to play a little bit of games. Not really a fan of 2-in-1 laptops as I hate the feeling of the keyboard placed at the back. 😂

I bought a Zenbook 14 but I'm going to get rid of it because the OLED display doesn't support Freesync.
According to your video, 14 FLIP is perfect for office use or persons use. Good detailed video. Buying a laptop is more complex than other electronic items. Keep reviewing windows laptop. It will us for sure.

I'd went with a classic chassis because I'm too oldschool for that flip stuff I guess :)
Personally I would choose the 14x because I don't really need another tablet like device.
what about the temperature-? is it too hot or average compared with other laptops? i ask cause mine overheats and I had to send it to technical service
All thin laptop have thermal problem ...
Thick is better than thin ..
It does get warmer at times, but I had no experience with overheating

In my city the only deference is that i9 and 120hz without gpu rtx for 14x and i7 and 90hz for filp the prices is the same and both are 16 ram
Maybe I missed it - but comments on Amazon say the fan(s) sound like an airplane taking off - did you experience this sound level?

Well, even the most reputable brand can make its mistakes or a bad product is always possible, but as said, I did not experience it. For me, in general, ASUS is a very reliable and interesting company

Great video, Dion! Both are eye-catching premium laptops that are best for student like me. If I were to choose, it would pick the conventional 14X because it performs better than the flip 14. I prefer having a seperate tablet.

I can get Samsung Galaxy Book 2 pro 13.3 Intel EVO i5 12Gen 1240P 16/512 and ASUS Zenbook Flip 14 Intel i5 12Gen 12500H 16/512 and ASUS Vivobook S14 Intel EVO i5 12Gen 12500H 16/512 for almost the same price. So I don't know which laptop to buy. Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro and ASUS VivoBook S14 are both Intel EVO certified. ASUS ZenBook Flip 14 is not Intel EVO certified but it is a 2 in 1 laptop. I'd like to buy a laptop for office work and occasionally do some photo and video editing, but gaming isn't a must for me. I am a Samsung Galaxy S series smartphone user since 8 years, so I am slightly inclined towards Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro, so Samsung eco system will be available but the phone can also be connected via Windows Phone Link app or Samsung would be better for Ecosystem. Please guide me.
Hi, both are very good laptops, but as ecosystem is an important element and you are already in the Samsung area, I would go for the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro. Enjoy!

Zenbook 14X impressive value:) In my country 740€ and MacBook Air 15 - 2080€.
Wow, that is a very big difference!
For me performance is the most important aspect of any device. Precisely why I got the MacBook pro 14. I loved gaming in my 6yr old Acer laptop but I was willing to sacrifice it for performing as I'm learning graphical designing and video editing currently.
@jemwell I think if I was given the choice, I'll choose the 14 Flip over the 14X. I say this because if I was just going to go for a traditional style of laptops I'd go for laptops coming from Apple. Asus has always struck me as an innovative company. Given that, I think they are the best in providing a different type of experience from traditional type of tech. It'd be a waste in my opinion if I was just going to buy something that didn't take this into consideration. By the way, thanks for the video as always!
Suggestion! Say the real CPU instead of just clock based for single core speed, seems like Pentium from 20 y ago. The processor is not measured like that and depends on many aspects like how many cores, HT for Intel, Max clock over load which is a different one than the base one you say on specs. This, seems like a terrible laptop when both are good cpus. Real model and specs, my suggestion

I would go with the 14 Flip, I like the versatility and I don’t need that much power in a laptop.

Asus laptop is so badly build and so low quality laptop. It easily overheating and shut down itself, very annoying. Even you are just running light and simple task like browsing, fan can suddenly running like crazy, and it can just shut down itself. Multiple attempts to contact Asus support also no use, they are not helpful, not competent, seems like only ditching out relevant and useless suggestion. I will never buy Asus products again!

I prefer the 14x more than the Flip 14. I particularly don't appreciate using my laptop screen as a touchscreen. It puts so many fingerprints on the screen that l find it annoying in my display.

Asus makes really good durable laptop's and are always looking for was to innovate and make our day to day life easier both are great options it depends on the buyer what does he or she wants to do with there device I think the 14flip is targetting the more creative and artistic users and the 14 x is targetting the basic users who just wanna do there productive work keep up the good work and remember we always here to support you we family 🙏🏼
