One can actually buy iPhone SE 2nd gen or 3rd gen if they want an iPad. iPad is good enough for mobile gaming and other small tasks, while iPhone SE is enough for using snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp. But in case camera is a big concern, then you may go for iPhone 12/12 mini or iPhone 13/13 mini instead, as they are cheap and also provide better camera setup than iPhone 11 series, and then continue buying iPad 9th gen or 10th gen.
I really think that it's better and in a good budget the iphone 11 pro max (better battery), 12 or even iphone 12 pro refurbished. Although such a good offer on iphone 11 pro is really really temptating!
My personal take on the budget iphone will no doubt be the iphone 15 because even though its more expensive, the presence of the usb c port is enough to justify its value over the older models, and the freedom of choices you have to charge your devices with cables borrowed from friends who dont have an iphone. And wireless charging doesnt help much either, since in Asian regions, not many people have iPhones, they use more Chinese smartphones, and sometimes in a busy workplace, when your phone runs out of charge, you are out of options! So I usually recommend my friends who wish to go the apple route to just not consider older models and just save up and get the 15, or wait a few months if they can help it for the price it reduce after the iphone 16 is released!
I have an I phone 13 (an upgrade on the SE3) I pad mini 4 (going to get the mini 6) Apple Watch SE2 ( Dion’s advice!) and a 27 inch Mac. No buyer’s remorse whatsoever!
I would say 99% just need an iPhone 13 and a MacBook Air M2, and nothing else. Fewer products but with alot better performance and support that would last for years
My ecosystem so far is the iPhone 14 Pro Max (which I’m very happy with) Watch series 9 and AirPods Pro 2nd gen. Looking to get Apple TV and MacBook Air probably the M2
i would get a newer iphone because the 11 won't be supported much longer (i like the 12 mini), skip on the watch (don't care for it), get a USB C pencil, and get at least a 256 gb m1 mac. 256 is bare minimum i would say, i would not consider 128 gb usable. still a great video, i think you made a modestly robust ecosystem, especially taking advantage of renewed and used products which a lot of people fully ignore
my dream ecosystem would be an iphone 15 (getting it in October) ipad 10th gen (getting it in February hopefully) maybe some airpods (probably not getting anytime soon)
I never get these “budget” Apple ecosystem lists that include the Apple Watch. Getting a redundant device when you are financially constrained seems counterintuitive. It makes more sense to invest the cost of the Apple Watch into a better, newer iPhone, future-proofing even more the value of your investment
any 11 series is too old at this point software support wise, i think a 12 series is the absolute bare minimum one should do but a 13 series is more ideal if you can or do what the top comment said and skip the iPad as most people (especially people in the cheaper price range) don’t need it & should use that money towards a better phone than the 11 series Edit: Yeah the watch 5 could also be too old software support wise. it’s too close to the 4 & the SE is much better
Not bad. Sub $1,300 for the whole ecosystem. I’d get these instead: iPhone 12 m1 iPad Air M1 MacBook Air Apple Watch 5 AirPods. I don’t know the total cost but it is definitely under $2,000
What are your thoughts on this best value budget Apple Ecosystem? 🤔

Love all the recommendations 🙌. Amazing video, as always
My value ecosystem:
iPhone 15 Pro
iPad Pro 12.9 M1
MacBook Air M2
Apple Watch Series 7
I really think that it's better and in a good budget the iphone 11 pro max (better battery), 12 or even iphone 12 pro refurbished. Although such a good offer on iphone 11 pro is really really temptating!
I expected atleast the base iPhone 13 for best value
Better camera
Better processor
More years of software support
Get 13 pro, Ipad 9th gen when on sale for $250 new, Apple Watch SE, M1 macbook air
5.8-6.1 inch screens are the perfect size
I have an I phone 13 (an upgrade on the SE3) I pad mini 4 (going to get the mini 6) Apple Watch SE2 ( Dion’s advice!) and a 27 inch Mac. No buyer’s remorse whatsoever!
Am a tech lover and I love your content so much . much love from Nigeria ❤❤
I’d go for iPhone 13 Mini, iPad Mini 6 and Macbook Air M1.
I got the Apple Watch 6 and it’s pretty good battery last longer then you think depending on how much you use it
You forgot Ipad 9th gen which i feel was the best ipad ever sold by Apple. It retails
my dream ecosystem would be an iphone 15 (getting it in October)
ipad 10th gen (getting it in February hopefully)
maybe some airpods (probably not getting anytime soon)
I mean thank god the 11 Pro was cheaper than the SE, but the fact both phones run the same SoC…that’s exchanging 6 for half a dozen 💀
Well im getting a 13 pro max with airpods pro 2nd gen this december, and next year ill just get an ipad pro 2022 model and ill be good
Can you fo this every year??? 😅😅
Indeed many people are enjoying this video, so I can certainly make an updated version next year :)
I never get these “budget” Apple ecosystem lists that include the Apple Watch. Getting a redundant device when you are financially constrained seems counterintuitive.
It makes more sense to invest the cost of the Apple Watch into a better, newer iPhone, future-proofing even more the value of your investment
SE3 has the A15 chip and 5g tho
I’m running the 11 pro rn. I see no point in upgrading for my purposes
imo - on the Apple Watch/refurbished go with the 7 for the fast charging
Ha 😂. For you to know the iPhone 15 Promax is 350
The iPad is 650
The MacBook is 850. With free shipping on bbcs 🎉🎉🎉
Honestly go with the 12 pro AirPods 2 gen apple watch 6 or the iPhone 13 if it then iPhone 14
So it just confirms there aren't any current budget friendly options. You have to go used
Very useful and informative video. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
This is an excellent and inexpensive setup for someone wanting to move over from Samsung. Thanks as always for your ideas!
Is it smart to buy refurbished products tho? Doesn’t that mean they may have problems and since they aren’t new the battery is wore down. 😅
Am going to buy a iphone 15 and macbook air m2....this would be enough to me nowdays
Excellent idea, this ‘cheap’ setup
any 11 series is too old at this point software support wise, i think a 12 series is the absolute bare minimum one should do but a 13 series is more ideal if you can
or do what the top comment said and skip the iPad as most people (especially people in the cheaper price range) don’t need it & should use that money towards a better phone than the 11 series
Edit: Yeah the watch 5 could also be too old software support wise. it’s too close to the 4 & the SE is much better
Nah iPad is very use full
@@dark_nightwing_xl2797 for what duties?
@@lifeisshørt_420 art and work in général its thé fastest yet, they might be expensive but they dont âge quickly with Time
iPhone should’ve been 12 pro, as it was the start of the new design and there’s not been any major updates since.
We are surely looking for the cheapest option but IMO, they must be new and not used. Even refurbished is much more OK.
And to make more lean
I will drop the iPad
iPhone and watch + your choice of earbuds
And a MacBook Air M1
Not bad. Sub $1,300 for the whole ecosystem.
I’d get these instead:
iPhone 12
m1 iPad Air
M1 MacBook Air
Apple Watch 5
AirPods.
I don’t know the total cost but it is definitely under $2,000
Also a solid choice!
my apple ecosystem for now just iphone 13 and Macbook Pro 2019 16 inch 😁
If it's for value and budget, iphone x and XR does it's job. I think a lot of people don't care about support.
can you make a similar video for galaxy ecosystem?
Your blessed to call this selection budget.😊
Budget by Apple Standards for that many devices
Great content as always Dion, could you pls do an Android - Samsung on a budget ecosystem video thank you in advance.
And then apple is coming over and says the series 5 isn’t supported annymore after september 😅
just get your stuff used and it won’t be as expensive i suggest y’all use back market to buy devices
Bro u need to put the 🍎 pencil and airpod in cheap version
I love these kinds
Of videos!!
I use an iPhone 14 Pro and iPad Air M1. No longer own a Mac or Apple Watch
did you get 64gb or 256gb for the ipad
You can get a 12 for less. I got a 13 myself. Not a pro but still good. SE is good. I upgraded to the watch 8 last year. Sporting the iPad Air 2020.
13 is goated
Apple Watch 7 is the best value watch
I never get how anyone would need a tablet/iPad if you have the phone and a laptop. Enlighten me.
I personally want an iPad for note taking and studying for school. I have a laptop but it’s not a MacBook
agree with your reasoning.
iPhone 11 = museum
😂
