Ik this was made like WAY before the latest Sonic Twitter Takeover but I just thought I'd mention that in the latest one Shadow says the reason Sonic didn't/couldn't save him was because he waved Sonic away, knowing that if Sonic went after him they'd both lose their super forms and perish. You probably already knew that but just something I thought I'd mention.
Shadow fell from space because that was his first time being in super form. Sonic had no problem with it but in the JP Version, Shadow’s lines indicate that he’s struggling with maintaining the form

I like to imagine that during Sonic's sacrifice, he says something along the lines of "Shadow...you're the Ultimate Lifeform now", a nod to Shadow saying how he believes Sonic is the true Ultimate Lifeform during the original final battle.

I guess the closet explanation we got towards Shadow falling instead of Sonic was confirmed in the Japanese sub (some of the dialogue hinting towards the main reason of Shadow's fall is highlighted during the final boss against the Biolizard.) In which it's explained that it was Shadow's first time transforming into his super form so he felt weaker and couldn't hold the form for as long as Sonic could. Hence he fell to Earth.
I always thought it was because he allowed himself to fall. Shadow does say "I must destroy all the evil the professor has created.", which included himself prior to his heel realization.
@@Sungura_Kaiser No you had to wait around a bit as one of the super hedgehogs and it eventually reveals that Super Shadow was beginning to get exhausted. In Japanese sub anyway which is the cannon version as SA2's plot was made in Japan

There was a fanfic with this idea but Amy Rose for What ever reason became a Edgy punk & I didn’t like that, So seeing your version of Amy in this makes more sense, The only thing I’m wondering is what’s gonna happened when the Black Arms Invade? With Shadow Already knows who he is, he will not be manipulated by Black Doom, I’m really Invested into the story to see where it goes, I am Surprise to see Silver this Early on in the series, I’m curious to know what’s gonna happened next! Honestly wasn't expecting to feel that mixed on this what-if scenario as I'm now, as much as I would like to see a different take on Sonics personality, I was expecting it to be more of him re-learning or getting back his memories about his various powers, and maybe without his imprisonment by Eggman and rather him accidentally falling into Eggman's custody as he forgot he was in constant conflict with him, and yeah then things can go on like in HeroesAlso not exactly biggest fan of how harsh things go, with Knuckles towards Shadow, and also later with Sonic towards his friends when he lost his memory like ok Knuckles is emotional nad could jump on Shadow like that but probably over time he would at least accept that Shadow tried his best to save Sonic by cost of his life and just don't be this harsh all the time and Sonic, even if he lost his memory, doubt he would attack anyone because of not knowing them, and if he started to have flashbacks of his past maybe he would even try to get more info out of his friend about it by talking rather than attacking them also memory recalls being painfull... Nah, maybe would distract and confuse him but pin sounds like a bit too much, anyways waiting for part two but so far this feels a bit overdone at points I mentioned

The idea of Sonic being rescued by one of Eggman's robots is actually somewhat canon for Shadow in his game. If you spend 10 minutes fighting the true final boss of the game, Eggman confesses that he lied to Shadow about being a robot; when everyone thought Shadow died, Eggman rescued him thanks to one of his robots.
@@ceoofceos5219 Actually, you shouldn't be so sure of this. First, look at his song's lyrics: "If you step in the ring, the you're gonna regret it. (Take it)" it would honestly be paradoxal for someone to tell you specifically NOT to do something, then switch to "DO IT" in less than 10 seconds, right? Plus, how come he suddenly considered shadow as a mere obstacle and targeted SONIC when he was humiliated by SHADOW? It doesn't make sense! If he was in control, Shadow would be his main target, THEN Sonic! Plus, even if he DID attack Shadow, he didn't do anything major. Trust me, judging by infinite's personality and his reaction to his beating, he would've tried to either terminate Shadow or completely break him if he was still the one in control.
I’m in love with this concept, but I hope you make it to where shadow becomes more and more friendly with the other heroes. I wanna see knuckles and him bond. I want to see shadow, while staying himself more or less, connect with characters that he typically wouldn’t have in the main timeline. Shadow is my favorite character in the franchise, and I think your doing him a great justice here. I like how you are making not only about shadow, but sonic as well. I want to see how this scenario changes the dynamic of sonic and Amy, if at all. One thing I wish you touched on was shadow and Amy’s friendship. It was Amy that helped shadow see the error of his ways on the ark in the final moments. I’d love to see a friendship spark between the two. Ain’t gotta be anything serious (although i am a shadamy shipper lol) I just feel like there is untapped potential there in the form of a strong friendship. There are so many great possibilities you can do here, and I feel like your off to a great start. I personally can not wait to see how the story unfolds, and see where you take this what-if. I absolutely love it. Please continue this soon. Keep up the good work!

When I saw this was going to involve a heavy role on both shadow and sonic, I was more than excited. You have an excellent eye for these types of stories, and take them in very creative ways, so I’m excited to see where you take this story. I’ll definitely be tuning into the latter parts of your story.
my version of this would involve shadow getting more friendly after bonding with tails and knuckles and then start roasting all the sonic bosses like sonic did

The issue I have with Heroes taking place in Sonic’s world is that the only way the two worlds thing works in continuity is if it’s a Sonic X like scenario where they are stuck, otherwise why are they just chilling on this alien planet? But that’s a nitpick, love the series! Always preferred Shadow so it’s cool in this that he gets to have the spotlight, and in this case the amnesia plot actually makes Sonic more interesting.
I mean that was Shadow’s doing since the 5th Twitter Takeover (like at 20:15) confirmed that Shadow didn’t let Sonic catch him when he tried to since it would’ve led to them both “dying”

I like to imagine that Knuckles sensed the Chaos Control starting and pitched in as well. Of course, he knows full well that he doesn't compare to two Supers, but every bit counts in such a dire situation, right?
That was some story. Imagine Sonic being the new Shadow the Hedgehog and Shadow being the new Sonic... That would be awesome! Not the same thing as my old Sonic AU idea, but close enough. =w= Now here's my Sonic: What If idea: What if Amy Rose finally gave up and grew out of Sonic and starts falling in love with another guy? =D
This one of my favorite theories by far along with the werehog theory. I also think that silver arrived earlier then suppose to because the events of 06 could be altered with Sonic being the actual Iblis trigger being tricked by eggman, forcing him to relentlessly attack Elise and his friends. And/or gets tricked by Mepholis to have the intent of killing all of those je crosses path with, helping mepholis plan to destroy all before completely remembering who he is, bursting into fleetway or dark super sonic to right his wrong. Ending the 06 story in kind of the same fashion it did before but this time, sonic is more aware of hos surroundings, losing the iconic trust he usually puts into everyone, being more distant and trapped in the reality of realizing that he wasn't the same blue hopeful hedgehog he was before. He then begins to seemingly disappear from the planet an outcast, hoping to redeem himself to not only himself but his forgot friends too. Sonic now runs into battle with a neutral energy, thinking ahead before he rushes into battle. The same egotistical hedgehog we all know and love is now gone forever. All that remains is sonic, the blue forgotten hedgehog, the hero lost within the wind.
JVC YTc actually I think it has nothing to do with what Sonic does differently but what he could do the same and Mephilis doesn't want that. You see I think that Sonic might've gotten his memories back at that point but Mephilis sees Sonic as more of a threat if that happened so he sent Silver further back to stop that from happening to give him an advantage.

I have a question about the Werehog story, are you staying in the game canon, or will you be going into the IDW Universe? I think the Metal Virus arc with the Werehog would be interesting.
1:05 it actually was implied by the dialogue that Shadow’s Super Form was outright unstable and was killing him as he used it. The inhibitor ring concept was added later.
Don't get me wrong, Silver's early arrival was shocking and absolutely amazing. But I'm actually really interested in seeing how the Black Arms invasion goes now that Shadow still has his memories, and already has his moral aliment chosen before the Invasion Began. Black Doom isn't going to be able to manipulate Shadow in any way.

I honestly don't have a problem with Izuka's two worlds. Earth and Mobius are clearly two different planets. It makes much more sense than people give it credit for.
I know the Garrulous64 did take his theory into a fixing Infinite video and then made sequels to it. He did sat at the beginning that it was with the Sega Scurges permission, so I have a feeling he wouldn't do something like that as there is already one done. I mean unless he has vastly different ideas which could easily be the case.

I’m loving this new Sonic What if Series. When I was younger, I would frequently think about stuff like this and try come up with a bunch of different alternate timelines. Now finally seeing someone more professional doing it makes me really excited everytime I see an upload of this series. I’m looking forward to whatever you do next with it.

Interesting What If, I like how you never let Sonic get his Memories back right away since amnesia takes a while to recover depending on how much damage to the head is, and since he fell down from space to Earth, it will take a long while. And I am guessing Silver will probably doing something either good or stupid to change the future.

Wow, you fixed nearly every problem I had with Heroes's story, characters and continuity. One change I would make though: I'd have the amnesia plot end once Sonic sees all of his friends gathered in one place and reaffirms who he is during the battle with Metal Sonic. Also not a huge fan of ending Heroes with a cliffhanger, since it would probably be better to have it be its own adventure. I'm excited to see how you handle the events of Shadow the Hedgehog! (And 06 too, apparently?)

So, watching these have made me look back on the games and mad me discover a really interesting au. A sonic forces one! What if sonic never escapes, his friends written him off as dead, and seeing him replaced with the avatar character, becomes Fleetway super sonic? Leading to a bait and switch antagonist like sonic games are known for
I think Sonic would be fine. After what happened in Heroes and Shadow's own game, I'm pretty sure people like Tails and Knuckles would more than likely help Sonic remember who he is. Unlike with Shadow where literally no one (not even Sonic himself) would offer to help get his memory back. Instead, simply send Shadow on various fetch quest that in no way help regain his memory.
If eggman were to instantly finish him off, he killed the opportunity to make another metal Sonic far superior than the original (Or of were going with your theory about metal Sonic, just another metal Sonic that maybe is a bit taller)

Edit: Even though this is a 4 month old comment and was actually posted on a different video, I just wanted to get my point out there and thought it would've been a pretty cool thought just in case no one has ever read this yet. I did fixed some grammar and spelling to some lf the things. Here it is: Thats really cool! i've been basically living under a rock and never knew anything about the "Two Worlds" thing because i've only played the games, but this explains alot. Now that I think about it, would it be cool if Sonic from the Sonic movie is actually from Sonic's World (Mobius) and the big plot of the movie would be for Sonic from Mobius to meet up with the Sonic from our world? Then they could've worked together to stop the real master mind whose manipulating Eggman. Now that I think about that, what if the Eggman we saw at the beginning of the trailer (Old Trailer) is our Eggman, and that the Eggman at the end of the trailer (Dr. Robotnic) is the Eggman from Mobius who is manipulating our Eggman to believe that this Sonic is the problem to his dimension and that he could possibly destory the world if he stays long enough beacuse of his electricity that he gives off whenever he starts running on his full speed at the speed of light, kinda like the end plot to Sonic X when Sonic and his friends had to return back to their home world because it would've effected the Human world. Thats my Theory. It would be pretty cool for a plot twist like that, no one would've expected it! would explain Takashi Iizuka's "Two World" thing alot to many other people like me who also lives under a rock and mostly just play the games for fun and never knew the "Two World" thing was a actual thing. It would also explain one of Sonic's line from the movie when he said something like "Looks like i'm gonna have to save your world" and the scene when Sonic threw his ring in the movie. I've also noticed how Sonic's attitude is alot different in Sonic Lost World than the cool, quiet, sometimes sassy, but understanding Sonic with sometimes something wise to say, but also energetic and loves adventure kind of guy that I grew up with in Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic X, Sonic 06, and Sonic Unleashed (even though Sonic X isn't cannon, but is still a pretty cool thought). Sonic from Mobius is more of a jokster, acting like everything is funny and always talking and talking like he was in Sonic Forces and Sonic Colors. He acted pretty rude in Sonic Lost World too and also acts like some "Cool and Popular" kid at school like the way he acted in the cross over in 'Ok KO lets be heroes' show, bragging and showing off his achievements. No ones probably reading this because this is a 4 months old video and this comment is really late, but I just thought that idea I had would've been amazing. It would definitely make my day if somehow someone from Sega or someone from Sonic Team is for some reason reading this and then change/add my idea to the plot of the movie. Would be amazing if someone copy and paste this to the Offical Sonic Twitter too! I feel wrong to be asking for likes because some people like making you feel guilty for having so many of them, but would be kinda cool if The Sega Scourge was reading this right now, it might give him another Theory idea!

This is really good actually and it would have a much better way for shadow to stay in the franchise as opposed to the way they actually did keep him in it and it would have been a great way to show a different side to sonic before eventually becoming his normal self again and then could turn to shadow to thank him for being there when he wasn't. I think this would actually have been a very good idea. What if they did an alternate SA2 and sonic heroes game I actually would buy it with absolutely no hesitation
It's interesting how in Sonic Heroes, without this theory in mind, how interchangeably Shadow and Sonic's roles are. Shadow's line "it'll be a date to die for" exchange makes more sense to me if the roles are reversed. Sonic Android's, make much more sense, and gives an interesting role for Metal Sonic as well.

I didn't think too much of this what if at first, but I started to slowly get interested as it went on. And I got completely hooked the moment Silver showed up out of nowhere hijacking what would have been the ending of Sonic Heroes!
I think silver has arrived much earlier than because Mephiles was watch the hole thing and after metal sonic was defeated mephiles quickly went back to the future learning that sonic has lost his memory
Rewatching this, I do have a few questions. Why was Silver's future devasted, with androids indiscriminately destroying everyone in sight, when in this au they're under Eggman's command? Do they go rogue like Metal did? What would've events looked like without Silver's interference?

Honestly wasn't expecting to feel that mixed on this what-if scenario as I'm now, as much as I would like to see a different take on Sonics personality, I was expecting it to be more of him re-learning or getting back his memories about his various powers, and maybe without his imprisonment by Eggman and rather him accidentally falling into Eggman's custody as he forgot he was in constant conflict with him, and yeah then things can go on like in HeroesAlso not exactly biggest fan of how harsh things go, with Knuckles towards Shadow, and also later with Sonic towards his friends when he lost his memory like ok Knuckles is emotional nad could jump on Shadow like that but probably over time he would at least accept that Shadow tried his best to save Sonic by cost of his life and just don't be this harsh all the time and Sonic, even if he lost his memory, doubt he would attack anyone because of not knowing them, and if he started to have flashbacks of his past maybe he would even try to get more info out of his friend about it by talking rather than attacking them also memory recalls being painfull... Nah, maybe would distract and confuse him but pin sounds like a bit too much, anyways waiting for part two but so far this feels a bit overdone at points I mentioned

The idea of Sonic being rescued by one of Eggman's robots is actually somewhat canon for Shadow in his game. If you spend 10 minutes fighting the true final boss of the game, Eggman confesses that he lied to Shadow about being a robot; when everyone thought Shadow died, Eggman rescued him thanks to one of his robots.

(Take it)" it would honestly be paradoxal for someone to tell you specifically NOT to do something, then switch to "DO IT" in less than 10 seconds, right? Plus, how come he suddenly considered shadow as a mere obstacle and targeted SONIC when he was humiliated by SHADOW? It doesn't make sense! If he was in control, Shadow would be his main target, THEN Sonic! Plus, even if he DID attack Shadow, he didn't do anything major. Trust me, judging by infinite's personality and his reaction to his beating, he would've tried to either terminate Shadow or completely break him if he was still the one in control.

I’m in love with this concept, but I hope you make it to where shadow becomes more and more friendly with the other heroes. I wanna see knuckles and him bond. I want to see shadow, while staying himself more or less, connect with characters that he typically wouldn’t have in the main timeline. Shadow is my favorite character in the franchise, and I think your doing him a great justice here. I like how you are making not only about shadow, but sonic as well. I want to see how this scenario changes the dynamic of sonic and Amy, if at all.
One thing I wish you touched on was shadow and Amy’s friendship. It was Amy that helped shadow see the error of his ways on the ark in the final moments. I’d love to see a friendship spark between the two. Ain’t gotta be anything serious (although i am a shadamy shipper lol) I just feel like there is untapped potential there in the form of a strong friendship.
There are so many great possibilities you can do here, and I feel like your off to a great start. I personally can not wait to see how the story unfolds, and see where you take this what-if. I absolutely love it. Please continue this soon. Keep up the good work!

The Sega Scourge your very welcome. I started watching with your werehog what if, and I’ve been hooked since. When I saw this was going to involve a heavy role on both shadow and sonic, I was more than excited. You have an excellent eye for these types of stories, and take them in very creative ways, so I’m excited to see where you take this story. I’ll definitely be tuning into the latter parts of your story.
my version of this would involve shadow getting more friendly after bonding with tails and knuckles and then start roasting all the sonic bosses like sonic did

The issue I have with Heroes taking place in Sonic’s world is that the only way the two worlds thing works in continuity is if it’s a Sonic X like scenario where they are stuck, otherwise why are they just chilling on this alien planet? But that’s a nitpick, love the series! Always preferred Shadow so it’s cool in this that he gets to have the spotlight, and in this case the amnesia plot actually makes Sonic more interesting.

Now here's my Sonic: What If idea: What if Amy Rose finally gave up and grew out of Sonic and starts falling in love with another guy? =D

Silver: I'm about to do what's called a pro-gamer move.
This one of my favorite theories by far along with the werehog theory. I also think that silver arrived earlier then suppose to because the events of 06 could be altered with Sonic being the actual Iblis trigger being tricked by eggman, forcing him to relentlessly attack Elise and his friends. And/or gets tricked by Mepholis to have the intent of killing all of those je crosses path with, helping mepholis plan to destroy all before completely remembering who he is, bursting into fleetway or dark super sonic to right his wrong. Ending the 06 story in kind of the same fashion it did before but this time, sonic is more aware of hos surroundings, losing the iconic trust he usually puts into everyone, being more distant and trapped in the reality of realizing that he wasn't the same blue hopeful hedgehog he was before. He then begins to seemingly disappear from the planet an outcast, hoping to redeem himself to not only himself but his forgot friends too. Sonic now runs into battle with a neutral energy, thinking ahead before he rushes into battle. The same egotistical hedgehog we all know and love is now gone forever. All that remains is sonic, the blue forgotten hedgehog, the hero lost within the wind.
JVC YTc actually I think it has nothing to do with what Sonic does differently but what he could do the same and Mephilis doesn't want that.
You see I think that Sonic might've gotten his memories back at that point but Mephilis sees Sonic as more of a threat if that happened so he sent Silver further back to stop that from happening to give him an advantage.

1:05 it actually was implied by the dialogue that Shadow’s Super Form was outright unstable and was killing him as he used it. The inhibitor ring concept was added later.
Don't get me wrong, Silver's early arrival was shocking and absolutely amazing. But I'm actually really interested in seeing how the Black Arms invasion goes now that Shadow still has his memories, and already has his moral aliment chosen before the Invasion Began. Black Doom isn't going to be able to manipulate Shadow in any way.

I know the Garrulous64 did take his theory into a fixing Infinite video and then made sequels to it. He did sat at the beginning that it was with the Sega Scurges permission, so I have a feeling he wouldn't do something like that as there is already one done. I mean unless he has vastly different ideas which could easily be the case.

I’m loving this new Sonic What if Series. When I was younger, I would frequently think about stuff like this and try come up with a bunch of different alternate timelines. Now finally seeing someone more professional doing it makes me really excited everytime I see an upload of this series. I’m looking forward to whatever you do next with it.

Wow, you fixed nearly every problem I had with Heroes's story, characters and continuity. One change I would make though: I'd have the amnesia plot end once Sonic sees all of his friends gathered in one place and reaffirms who he is during the battle with Metal Sonic. Also not a huge fan of ending Heroes with a cliffhanger, since it would probably be better to have it be its own adventure. I'm excited to see how you handle the events of Shadow the Hedgehog! (And 06 too, apparently?)

So, watching these have made me look back on the games and mad me discover a really interesting au. A sonic forces one! What if sonic never escapes, his friends written him off as dead, and seeing him replaced with the avatar character, becomes Fleetway super sonic? Leading to a bait and switch antagonist like sonic games are known for
I think Sonic would be fine. After what happened in Heroes and Shadow's own game, I'm pretty sure people like Tails and Knuckles would more than likely help Sonic remember who he is. Unlike with Shadow where literally no one (not even Sonic himself) would offer to help get his memory back. Instead, simply send Shadow on various fetch quest that in no way help regain his memory.
If eggman were to instantly finish him off, he killed the opportunity to make another metal Sonic far superior than the original
(Or of were going with your theory about metal Sonic, just another metal Sonic that maybe is a bit taller)

This video is 4 years old but i just want to say i was super invested and i love how you tell the story. Imagine how happy i am to find out that this what if story isn't abandoned
Edit: Even though this is a 4 month old comment and was actually posted on a different video, I just wanted to get my point out there and thought it would've been a pretty cool thought just in case no one has ever read this yet. I did fixed some grammar and spelling to some lf the things. Here it is:
Thats really cool! i've been basically living under a rock and never knew anything about the "Two Worlds" thing because i've only played the games, but this explains alot.
Now that I think about it, would it be cool if Sonic from the Sonic movie is actually from Sonic's World (Mobius) and the big plot of the movie would be for Sonic from Mobius to meet up with the Sonic from our world? Then they could've worked together to stop the real master mind whose manipulating Eggman. Now that I think about that, what if the Eggman we saw at the beginning of the trailer (Old Trailer) is our Eggman, and that the Eggman at the end of the trailer (Dr. Robotnic) is the Eggman from Mobius who is manipulating our Eggman to believe that this Sonic is the problem to his dimension and that he could possibly destory the world if he stays long enough beacuse of his electricity that he gives off whenever he starts running on his full speed at the speed of light, kinda like the end plot to Sonic X when Sonic and his friends had to return back to their home world because it would've effected the Human world. Thats my Theory. It would be pretty cool for a plot twist like that, no one would've expected it! would explain Takashi Iizuka's "Two World" thing alot to many other people like me who also lives under a rock and mostly just play the games for fun and never knew the "Two World" thing was a actual thing. It would also explain one of Sonic's line from the movie when he said something like "Looks like i'm gonna have to save your world" and the scene when Sonic threw his ring in the movie.
I've also noticed how Sonic's attitude is alot different in Sonic Lost World than the cool, quiet, sometimes sassy, but understanding Sonic with sometimes something wise to say, but also energetic and loves adventure kind of guy that I grew up with in Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic X, Sonic 06, and Sonic Unleashed (even though Sonic X isn't cannon, but is still a pretty cool thought). Sonic from Mobius is more of a jokster, acting like everything is funny and always talking and talking like he was in Sonic Forces and Sonic Colors. He acted pretty rude in Sonic Lost World too and also acts like some "Cool and Popular" kid at school like the way he acted in the cross over in 'Ok KO lets be heroes' show, bragging and showing off his achievements.
No ones probably reading this because this is a 4 months old video and this comment is really late, but I just thought that idea I had would've been amazing. It would definitely make my day if somehow someone from Sega or someone from Sonic Team is for some reason reading this and then change/add my idea to the plot of the movie. Would be amazing if someone copy and paste this to the Offical Sonic Twitter too! This is really good actually and it would have a much better way for shadow to stay in the franchise as opposed to the way they actually did keep him in it and it would have been a great way to show a different side to sonic before eventually becoming his normal self again and then could turn to shadow to thank him for being there when he wasn't.

It's interesting how in Sonic Heroes, without this theory in mind, how interchangeably Shadow and Sonic's roles are. Shadow's line "it'll be a date to die for" exchange makes more sense to me if the roles are reversed.
Sonic Android's, make much more sense, and gives an interesting role for Metal Sonic as well.

What does confuse me is why rouge didnt explain sonic few stuffs back when she found him, but otherwise i think this story is getting a little bit dark on sonics side, i want shadow to stay edgy not sonic 😂
Yes as you said before, this kind of event had a huge inpact on sonic, now since you did mention sonic advance we do outa count that sonic fell off space in his super form back with creams mother and landed completely fine. I believe eggman wouldnt have such luck to capture him that simple, or who knows maybe he even would like he did in sonic x, but i think tails would find that out and eggman would try to use sonic to mech him up and use him to conquer all

I didn't think too much of this what if at first, but I started to slowly get interested as it went on. And I got completely hooked the moment Silver showed up out of nowhere hijacking what would have been the ending of Sonic Heroes!

I think silver has arrived much earlier than because Mephiles was watch the hole thing and after metal sonic was defeated mephiles quickly went back to the future learning that sonic has lost his memory

Rewatching this, I do have a few questions. Why was Silver's future devasted, with androids indiscriminately destroying everyone in sight, when in this au they're under Eggman's command? Do they go rogue like Metal did? What would've events looked like without Silver's interference?
