    For me i like my k04 borgwarner..i decided to upgrade my turbo with efr series for more hp and tq..but most people say go for g25-550 series..but efr turbos boost start in low rpm which is great..but some people say efr turbo got so hot and breaks easily..do you think it is true ?

    An EFR is $300-500 cheaper than a genuine G series and is arguably a better turbo in many ways. Not saying the G series is bad, but it's not cheaper and you can get various flange options.

      Garret do list on their site . But garret have had supply issues so lot of units you cannot buy yet . The one in my video is a pulsar / Chinese copy of the garret . They now do 0.72 and 0.92 iwg housing for g25 and g30. Normal and reverse rotation

    EFR6758 vs G25-660 - which one would you recommend and why? I made 520whp with the EFR6758 .64 on a 1.4L engine. would switching to the g25-660 ar .72 be a downgrade?

      G series turbos have 38-40mm diameter wastegate ports so compared to the old T25 GT series 25mm ports I think it's enough when used with engines like SR20DET which need high boost to make power anyway. My GT3071R with .64 rear housing did creep to 1.5 bar no matter what, but my current .86 keeps it steady at 1 bar if I for some reason would want to run just that amount of boost

    • @garymgzs280
      @garymgzs280  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The g25 and g30 will be simpler to fit. The v band mounting point is very easy. The t4 divided flange of the borg will need more fabrication work and getting the 4 nuts on and off is a pain .
