    I ate from that fig in Jordan and it called Byadah in arabic ... it grows on a new growth and it doesnt need a wassp

    How is it going with your fig cuttings? I saw your $200 bnr cuttings didnt make it in your set up. I also failed every time i tried but this year ive found a better method to rooting fig cuttings that works 100%. I dip my cuttings in root hormome then pot them up in a sterile potting soil in 1 x 6 inch tube stock pots and I leave them out in the full sun watering once a day of a morning now its winter so they can handle the outdoors they bud and root within a couple of weeks

      All going along nicely, a couple got lost in the move I believe, and the chickens have spent most their time at the new house digging around my fig pots, but otherwise ok! I am not starting any this season, but now that I am out of Canberra and in the warmth I think your method sounds very effective

    It will be interesting to see if you notice a difference in the taste of your figs next year. Comparison of the fruit in QLD/ACT

      At the moment I have a dirty rotten fig thief somewhere in my house. number one suspect possum and second being the disloyal chickens....
