    The Phase Adjustment on the Gyro does not change the direction of the Servo from Normal to Reversed.
    The Phase Adjustment on the Gyro Reverses the Direction in which the Gyro is correcting the Plane to Level.
    If the Gyro is correcting a Control Surface in the Wrong Direction the Phase Adjustment will get the Gyro correcting in the Proper Direction.

      Not sure how true that is, as my inputs become reversed when adjustjng thr phase on the gyro. Also can't seem to calibrate.... faulty unit?

      @@Mr.Studer I always put the gyro in manual mode 1st and make sure all my inputs are moving in the proper direction.
      Then I put it in gyro mode and adjust the phase if needed to correct in the proper direction.
      I would also calibrate the gyro before making any phase adjustment.
      Then I check my inputs in all modes just to make sure ;-)

      Yea i been playing around all weekend trying to get it setup right. I got it installed in a 2 servo 50mm edf jet, 1 servo on each side so it makes it tricky.
      All control surfaces moving in the right direction, but then gyro was working in opposite direction, i tried adjusting that with servo phase on the byme gyro, but ended up having wrong inputs through the sticks all of a sudden... in order to have proper stick inputs & gyro working in the corresponding direction, I ended up having to turn the byme A upside down and arrow facing backwards.... everything seems to be working fine now, only problem is it won't let me calibrate the gyro itself, it's set at slight nose down which is no good.

      So this is an Elevon setup on the EDF Jet?
      The Byme-A is designed for a traditional plane setup and the Byme-D is designed for Elevon / Delta Mixing.
      If you do have Elevon mixing I don't think the Byme-A will work properly.

      @@GroundControlRC ahhhhh well that would explain a few things. Yes it is an elevon mix. Tho still not sure why it wouldn't atleast calibrate, all the control surfaces are moving in the right direction afterall, just unable to get it into calibration mode no matter what stick position i tried, also tried throttle reverse like manual explained without any further luck.
      I'll try to get my hands on a byme D and see if that will change things.

    Finally took out the factory RTF board from my Volantex P-51 750mm.
    Installed the Byme-A gyro and Radiolink R9DS reciever.
    (2.1 mile range for future FPV fun)
    Wow what a difference!
    No more "tail flutter" at high speed.
    Also purchased a Radiolink AT10II transmitter.
    Fantastic radio for my needs.
    As always, thank you for all you do.
    BTW, that was me you heard saying WEEEE as I was doing barrel rolls.

      Those Byme Gyros are fantastic and I put a Byme-A in my new A-1 Skyraider.
      I'm glad that worked well in the P-51.
      That Radiolink AT10II is a nice looking TX.
      I haven't used that one but the ones I have used are very good quality.
      Hehehe.....I hope to hear many more WEEEEEs while doing barrel rolls ;-)

      I like the sound of a plug and play gyro. I've got a few hobby eagle gyros which are excellent bits of kit but they're far from plug and play. Seems this gyro might be the bee's knees if it proves reliable.

      Awesome. Will be interesting to see how you find the gyro to use. I've got 2 of the super version with programming card. I believe the only difference is that the pro version you program with button presses and the super you program with either your laptop or the programming card. Look forward to your review.

    i connected the esc wire in backwards and it didn't fry up . the parameters specs says 5v-12v I haven't tried more than 5 . its really good .

      I'm putting one in my new AtomRC Penguin.
      I'm glad that didn't fry it. I've burned up a receiver like that in the past.

      I just mounted mine at the back of the battery bay.
      That's where I usually mount this Gyro on planes that have a top load battery.

    Hello, I have a question . In manual mode, the ailerons and rudder deviate as expected, to the desired angle, and in the Stabilization and Gyro modes this is barely noticeable (I'm talking about compensation for changes in the position of the aircraft). Is it possible to customize?

      Hum...you should have the same deflection in gyro mode as you have in manual mode as it doesn't restrict the amount of deflection it just corrects for wind.
      You can't change the amount of deflection in stabilization mode as that is a beginner mode.
      I fly in gyro mode most of the time for wind mitigation as it's usually windy where I fly.

      Hi Tory!
      Yes, except I've had to change the direction in which the Gyro corrects a control surface a couple of times.
      For instance, the Gyro was correcting the Rudder in the wrong direction and required changing the Phase on the Rudder.
      That was very simple to do as the button on the front of the Gyro is specifically for that purpose.
      You press the button the same as the channel number, since the Rudder is channel 4, I press the button quickly 4 times to change the Phase of the Rudder Channel, for channel 1 it's just 1 press of the button and so on.
      Probably the easiest to setup Gyro so I've purchased several of them.

    6:54... Be aware that if you setup channel direction in stabilized mode on the radio... it may not be the same as in Manual mode going through the stabilizer PCB. I would set the radio channel directions in Manual mode then check to see if I needed to change Channel direction in Stabilized mode but change it in the Stabilizer.

      I've performed the 1st Test Flight with it and luckily I didn't have to change anything going from Mode to Mode on the Channel Direction but thanks for that info.
      I'll be sure to do that in Manual Mode 1st and then check the Channel Direction in the other Modes.
      I have another Gyro I just received so I'll use your method when I set that one up.
      It's a HobbyEagle A3 Prop V2.

      @@GroundControlRC Just talking from experience. Crashed a plane because I assumed the channel directions were the same in Stabilized and Manual Mode with another brand Stabilizer.

      They just came out with the Byme-DB Gyro that has an active Rudder Channel.
      That should work nicely.

    How do you change the sensitivity of the gyro? Mine is way too aggressive and causes wobbles.

      It's a plug-n-play gyro so no gain adjustment.
      The best way I have found to setup my planes for any gyro is to make sure the linkage setup provides the most movement of the servo arms for the amount of control surface movement I need.
      That has taken all the oscillation out of my planes with gyros.

    I would like to replace the original receiver/gyro on a Volantex 750mm RTF. Would this Byme gyro and A PPM receiver fit in the original location, underneath above the wing?

      I don't have a gyro in this one yet but I did mount my receiver on top of the wing.
      I have the PNF version so it didn't come with a gyro or receiver.
      I plan on putting a byme-a gyro and sbus receiver in this one in the future but I have to work it into my budget.
      The byme-a gyro and a nano sbus receiver won't take up any more space that the receiver I have in it now so that's where I plan on mounting them.

      @@GroundControlRC Hello again. Installed the Byme A and all went pretty well except the elevator corrects in the wrong direction. Everything else is working normal. All the control surfaces are moving correctly with the sticks. Any idea how I could correct the elevator issue? TIA.

      There's a little black button on the front of the Gyro.
      It's for changing the (Phase) or direction in which the Gyro is correcting a control surface.
      (1) quick press changes the direction for CH1
      (2) quick presses changes the direction for CH2 and so on...
      If your elevator is on CH2 then (2) quick presses of the button should change the direction in which it's correcting the Elevator.
      I usually have to change at least (1) channel and sometimes (2).
      Make sure your stick is moving the Elevator in the proper direction after changing the Phase on the Gyro.
      If not, try reversing that channel in the transmitter.

    I am using lemon 6 channel receivers will this work with the byme A. If so what channel do I plug the S.BUS PPM cable into the receiver ?

      Hi John!
      I have some LemonRX 6CH Receivers.
      I'm not sure which one you have but mine only work in PWM Mode.
      You need an RX that can output either SBUS or PPM with these Gyros.
      The Gyro has (1) port labeled SBUS/PPM.
      That's where you will connect the RX.
      There are some Receivers that can output all (3) PWM, SBUS, and PPM.
      I have a couple of Radiolink Receivers that can do that.
      I usually just use a small SBUS RX so it's compact and lightweight.
      If you have a Multi-Protocol TX you'll have a lot of options for Receivers.

      I have a 6 channel DSMP (DSMX/ DSM2 Compatible receiver. What is PWM mode and I use a turnigy 9XR pro radio.

      @@jonmeyers523 Sounds like the exact ones I have.
      They're fantastic receivers but I can't use them with these Gyros.
      PWM is the mode where each channel has a different port, (1) wire for each Channel.
      SBUS/PPM combine all channels on a single port so there is only (1) wire that connects to the Gyro for all Channels.

      Is there a Multi-Protocol TX in your future?

    Just curious, from where u buy your thin gauge RC electric wires for your builds. I wanna buy the kind of hi- quality wires that come as ESC signal wire
    My old projects wires breaking just behind solder joint from weathering & annual temp cycle alone. Even servo wires aren't of the ESC wires quality

      I took a peak at one of the FS i6 Receivers and it appears to be a standard 6CH Receiver with no SBUS/ PPM support.
      If that's the case it won't work with this Gyro.

    Hi Ground Control RC, I bought your recommended rf201s receiver and the Byme A gyro for the Flying Fish. I tried to bind the receiver to the TX16s using the Wfly2 protocol but it did not work. Unfortunately, I could not find any instruction or help in the internet. Is there a button to bring it into bind mode? Or what could be the issue? I also tried to change the option value. Can you maybe help me? This may be actually be of general interest for your audience. Thanks a lot.

      I just put together the Flying Fish with the exact same setup ;-)
      The Protocol is "WFLY2" Sub-Protocol "RF20x"
      The Channel Order should be setup AETR.
      I didn't have to do anything special other than Click to Bind in the Transmitter.
      Did any of this information help?
      Was your Sub-Protocol "RF20x" and your Channel Order AETR?

      I had forgotten, there is a setting below the Protocol Setup in the Transmitter called "Option Value" This tells OpenTX to use either SBUS or PPM. 0 is for SBUS and 1 is for PPM. For some reason I had to change that from a "0" to a "1" to bind the first time. Then I changed it back to a "0" for SBUS and everything worked as it should. I think that is an issue with OpenTX and not the Receiver.
      I hope that fixes your binding issue.

I will watch your new Flying Fish video as a treat to myself tonight at my prime time.       Hi Luther!
      It should work with any SBUS / PPM Receiver.
      SBUS / PPM is required as it only has (1) input channel for the Receiver.
      The Byme-D is the same in that regard.
      So far, I've used a RadioMaster R81 SBUS Receiver (D8) and a WFLY R8EF SBUS Receiver (WFLY2) with no issues at all.
