Production: Hey amstudio we're out of carbon fiber vinyl wrap...
Amstudio: Ok, tell the subscribers, all further projects are cancelled.
you have to get a 3d printer to print the actual pice and then get that thing that "tightens" from a bike
you can use a so known 3d printer service and get them printed and posted for you the best one i know is 3d hubs using a local hub .
@@petrosrz8990 shapeways is good also
What I love the most about this is that unlike most adapters, this will allow you to use all the buttons because of the space there is between the buttonbox and the wheel. Amazing job!
This has literally saved the issue i was having for a GT3 McLaren wheel ive made wondering how to attach it! Bought your files and a local company printing them! Many thanks, keep it up!
This is why I like your Channel. You had a good wheel (g29) and you built your way out of things. Then you BROUGHT your own fanatec club sport not like some of these big youtubers but still make things to help people with there wheel. Good on you keep it up!😀😀😀👍👍👍
This reminds me of Taxi 1 when he switches the steering wheel 😂
exactly... i want thiss shitssss :D
Daniel need to be the new Ken block
I'm guessing then you don't watch any motorsports, cause they do this all the time
Do u know where to get that boss kit adapter
Before: a normal táxi after: one rocket
Your videos are really good dude I've been watching your videos for a while now and there's no talking for hours before actually showing what to do its just straight to the and I like the way you make things like this avalible to people who have the logitech g920 or the g29 anyways keep up the good work
I'm in love with how simplistic it is
It just keeps getting better. Hats off!
Wow I remeber when you had like 2k subs and now almost 40 great work

WOW! Now that is clever! Well done once again sir. This is such a simple and effective solution.
finally got mine, they are so cool! keep up the good work dude!
mountain bike industry in cars
I love what your doing by the way its better than any other TH-cam channel you diy.
just ordered a g29 on black Friday to replace my old crappy wheel that didn't have force feedback, im really excited to use this mod on it so that i can have a rally/ drift wheel and a separate racing wheel
This is a great solution, your videos just get better and better ;)
Mine finally came, got the files sent them to my brother (il) and he sent them from Canada and they work perfectly! You have some pretty great work dude
Is there a way you can send me the files? I'd appreciate it.
I have watched this about 10 times its so cool oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Can wait to see your diy quick release system for fanatec mod wheels!
Robson Carvalho not needed
Robson Carvalho lol
Absolutely brilliant! Highly recommend! Now i can easy swap rally car to tractor or track car to a truck!
I love this diy. Cant wait to try it
Great video as always! Thank you!
THANK iv been waiting for some one to make one of these
Will I need extended paddle shifters to use this with the regular steering wheel on my g27 ?
Fantastic. Great stuff.
Both of the adaptors shown in the beginning of this video work just fine
This is so cool! How about a diy H-shifter next? Would love to see how you'd go about that :D
This without a doubt is very impressive, the only flaw I can see with it currently, is that the gap between the paddle and the wheel is a bit large, but that depends on people’s tastes.
I really like the original wheel all stripped down
Brilliant job!!
Love the work n videos. 👍
This is awesome i want this for my g27
Hi, congratulations on your achievements.
I wanted to ask what I need for my Logitech G27 so that I can switch between different types of steering wheels, including the one supplied?
Thank you.
Could you make some extended flappy paddle gear shifters, so it's possible to use them while having a custom medium dish (with spacers) wheel?
dude that's so awesome
Great work, the best idea i must say. Can you tell me, from where i can get that clamp used for locking the quick release adapters, please help me.
This is great bud but how do you go about relocating your buttons ? Will a switch panel have to be made up and if so how would the paddles work if the circuit board wasn’t behind the wheel ? Cheers
another good video like always any chance you could make a video on the 3D printer on how to make stuff with it ? that be great been thinking about buying one.
can i use this with a Logitech driving force gt ?
Very nice video, it will help me a lot with my G27 Custom project.
I just didn't understand which one should I use for my stock G27.
I have all stock in the steering wheel base, so, should I use the same as the G29?
I would like to see a video where you change the pedals of g920/g29 with racing pedals. And tell us if it's worthing and how they feel when you hit the gauge, brake& clutch.
This is awesome. I have a 3d printer too.. although with this method are the paddle shifters too far away to use?
Good stuff!
@ amstudio,
do you also have flipper extensions, for when you mount a bigger wheel on a G27?
You are simply a genius....
im wondering how long the 3d printed items hold up for, like under heavy use would they degrage fast? im not sure deffinetly going to do this
Hi :) Great video, question, what BLACK part did you use on you wheel at 0.59 Sec? Do you provide this? The RED parts I found on your website, but it seems the BLACK part is also printed but I can't find it on your website.
Hi, where can I download the files to do it myself?
I can not buy because I'm from Argentina, thank you very much
Can you make a quick release mod for thrustmaster wheels
If I use the boss kit adaptor (seems like a better fit for a custom wheel) do I need the original electronics or will the wheel work without them?
Hey, do you need to have the electronics (original buttons) on the wheel or can you use this boss adapter and have a wheel with nothing on. Love the work inspired me to make a button box project myself now want to put a nice OMP wheel on the rig but don't want any of the pre existing electronics! Would love to see a G920 Indicator vid. Many thanks.
What size and length screws do you use to attach the wheels to the quick release adapters?
At around 1:48 you said you need to relocate the electronics in the original wheel. Are you talking about the wheelbase or the steering wheel?
That's the setup I mostly want, a wheelbase that only does ffb and changeable steering wheels.
you should sell these. you made an elegant solution.
You're a genius
Nice one, you should create something to reach the shift pedals
Was there a purpose for the length of the hexagonal slot? Cause I feel like it could just be slightly shorter cause you only need it to fit the seat post clamp
I have a tight space at home, moving the wheel towards me may be a little bit uncomfortable. What is the size of this adapter when using with the stock wheel?
this looks so dopeee but i got a question will a bigger wheel and this quickrelease adapters/system not make loss the realistic feeling of the wheel because the less force feedback and stuff
Considering that you make all these sim parts like button boxes etc. Do you have a solution to the high pitch squeaking on the g920 when turning left?
Could it be possible for you to take a pedal box, a nice one, from a real car and turn it into one that works with your set up? Not sure how it would work but maybe you can think of something.
all is possible.
This is so clever
What's about accessibility to paddle shifters and other buttons when using custom wheel? Since your adapter pushes the wheel out it could be hard to access all other controls.
Give this guy an honour!!
Hi
@amstudio I need to know how long does it take to print one part? [more less in hours]
Thank You in advance.
0:28 do you thing that quick release is good to mount on a fanatec universal hub to quickswap rims ?
Would you recommend the g29 for someone trying to get into sim racing or is there better stuff out
Love it!
fill ebay with these please, i don't have access to a 3d printer or anyone with one.
i agree
plz make a website
+Arc Crenshaw Maybe will open a online shop in 2018! In the mean time you can use a local print service like 3dhubs.
amstudio so you did listen to me if you remember that I said that you can offer cheap durable and new parts that nobody has finally
you can upload your own files to shapeways and they'll send it to you :)
amstudio will that online store have the DIY Handbrake you made with a keyboard PCB a while back on it?
Hi,
About changing the g29 wheel I heard the heavier the wheel the worse Force feedback, so can you confirm this and please tell me the weight of the original wheel with and without buttons? Also do you have any recommendations about what wheel should I get? (regarding weight). Kind regards.
Hi. I would love to quick release mod my G29 and keep the original wheel and paddle set together (like new, releasing the whole assembly). Is this possible?
exelent , wanting for thrustmaster
I wanna make this but before i want to figure out how to resolve the paddle shifts. If were taked off how we can install new ones to the wheel and the be connected to the controller
I'm interesting with this project
Quick release is it work with G27?
Can it use with paddle shift G27.it' not take paddle shift out?
Nice job man!!!!! Like
Hey! Good video very useful ! Does that works with a G27 ?
We're can I get those parts. I would really like to have this for my steering wheel
Awesome video. Just as a consideration to a previous video, is there a way to wire up a gauge cluster and utilise the various dials such as the fuel gauge in game?
th-cam.com/video/L59NL9EuEdM/w-d-xo.html
great job. i cant believe you actual replied 6 months later, never seen such good of a youtuber :D
@@amstudioprojects dude can you do a cluster foe x box one x or ps5 I have x box x and seen the video of the BMW cluster on the pc. id like to have a cluster for my x box for asseto corsa and car x drift and dirt. thanx I love your content as im only new here and cannot wait for your next upload.
Can you somehow make the space between Steering wheel and shift paddels closer? like do a alreddy installed holding mechanisim in the Adapters
Hello, a question if I put another ring on a g920, it is a displaced ring, omp, it may have a game in the steering wheel hub and it breaks the g920.
There is a way to keep the shifters and buttons with the wheel but using the quick release? I think using a pin from the base and other pin in the wheel
Do you think you could try some of your mods with thrustmaster wheels?
thank you for the great idea . i will make one for my driving force pro ...
You should make a quick release for the Fanatec GT2/3/CSR/Elite wheels as well!
amstudio how much should a wheel weigh so it doesnt put too much pressure on the motor
Hi i bought 3d models, so what are your best printing suggestions ? for best quality and performance
Can you do the same with a 3 spoke steer from a truck?
just wondering. the force feedback works? like before?
thats awesome, could you do one for the thrustmaster t300?
hey
I know this is a longshot but could you design a boss kit for the logitech driving force gt ??
or do you know of any 3d models out there for this wheel.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.
hi i have a thrustmaster t150 wheel the wheel gets verry sticky and i want a sparco wheel or something can you show some mods you can do on that wheel
I don’t know if this is possible or not but I want to buy the fanatec GT3 wheel and put it on a Logitech g920 wheel base. Would this work and if not could I use and adapter for it?
I've just brought an aftermarket wheel but its turned out to be a real omp car wheel quite heavy will this still hold it in place please?
But, the question is, if i decide to do the second metod in wich the original paddle remain, if i put a f1 wheel with the relative paddle shifter, can i use the paddle of a new f1 wheel? Maybe a model like the real f1? And how much force feedback i'm gonna lose because of the weight of a new wheel and the original base with button and paddle shifter?
Hey amstudio what would be the ideal settings to print these out?
Can you still shift with the paddels??
The qr base bolt, Is it just a bolt? Or is it a bolt and a thing on the end (also what size)
Love this! Can it be adapted to work for the g27?
does the quick release base adapter for the g29 also work on the g27
Hello, i would like to make an DIY motorcyle handle bar that i will attach to my G920 wheel, i don't want to remove the wheel, i just want to plug my handle bar above my wheel when i want to play motorcycle game and remove it when not. so would this adaptor work above the wheel ? "without removing the original wheel" ?
Thanx for your amazing works :)
