- Transforming Mumbo's Minecraft Redstone House! Today is very special. Mumbo Jumbo and I are swapping minecraft houses and transforming them before handing them back. That's definitely a stretch, but both have definitely improved significantly, and updates to the game have made it easier, as well.

I know this is an old video but I absolutely love the way you two handle collabs, oftentimes when other youtubers do the same thing the balance of content is completely skewed so the audience really only has to watch one to get the full video, and thus doesn't bother to go to the other channel. The way you guys handle things makes watching only one video of the pair a complete experience, but watching both provides a greater part of the puzzle and gives a more satisfying experience.

I love how Grian was like “that’s *FINE* it’s *OK* there is *NO* right way to build” but Mumbo was like “yeah the thing sucks lol”
I can tell Mumbo and Grian have improved a lot over the years, the best example being “The Double Extender Elevator”.
The phrase "it's so useless but I love it" just perfectly encapsulates all of redstone
But it isn't useless
Redstone is complicated but you can make amazing mechanical creations, like hidden bases, automatic farms, etc which are very useful and convenient.
Note: I'm a fan of both Mumbo Jumbo and Grian. I fancy their unique skills, and their mastery of their respective crafts. I also try to learn from them.
But the same thing can be said for building. Sometimes a simple but functional house is better than a complicated-looking house, mainly because Grian's way of building (it's fantastic) takes too much effort when you could've spent less energy on a smaller house that functions the same.

the building is easy, but i am confused with most redstone, i can make SOME cool redstone things that are good but most of it confuses me. but the building is easy. the front porch is a easy repeat of simple pillars and support beams. the house can be made a huge square and transform the shape after and add easy details. and the windows are probably the easiest part. just some arched shaped holes filled with some glass panes and easy hangovers over them. in an arched shape, mansions are actually the easiest house to build when building houses in minecraft, just because there big doesnt mean there hard. Oh no, im begining to sound like a grian, i know it all sounds confusing but trust me its simple when you start building it, i can release building tips and tricks on my channel if u want, not a self advertisement but just saying.
