Virginia City, Nevada: The BEST Old West Town (& Super Haunted 😱)

- We are spending the day in one of our favorite places, Virginia City. Located outside of Reno, Nevada in the mountains of the Virginia Range, this old west mining town is famous for its hauntings. We are going on a Virginia City Nevada tour, checking out some of the unique things to do like the trolley tour and famously haunted Old Washoe Club as well as learning about the history and getting a bite to eat at Virginia City Jerky Co and Smokehouse. Virginia City is also famous for its wild horses (which is just another reason why Cara loves it so much). We hope you enjoy Virginia City as much as we do!

I've never visited an old west town in the USA - you showed me a superb overview... it just didn't look very 'haunted' or 'old' - it sadly looked touristy and new.
This place has been on my bucket list for awhile and now, I think maybe it just moved to the top. Thank you both for the great video!
We in the UK and europe are spoiled, now you have seen the uk history, true story I lived in texas went to the log cabin Village, which was nice, but i wasnt as enthusiastic as the people i was with.. wow buildings from the 1800's i was yes its nice, they were hmm, then when i brought them to the UK and showed them an abbey in my home town from the 1400's walked about chester and it roman walls,, york and the jorvik museum they understood we just have so much history that 1800's stuff is yesterday and common..

These two people are so nice. Two of the nicest people I`ve never met. But I just don`t `get` things in The United States being old. There`s nothing old about the United States, as amazing a country as it is.
The first 27 people buried in the Cemetary were all murdered, and no one was even arrested. I found this out by reading Mark Twain's book on Virginia City

I've been wanting to check out Virginia City and seeing just how dog friendly it is makes me want to check it out even more. It's going on a future road trip adventure list for sure!!!

Wow! this city looks like a movie set! I've seen wooden boardwalks visiting Ocean City in MD but never inland.
Now that’s the America I like to see. The old towns.

I would love to visit this place if we come to the USA, looks fantastic. If you come back to the UK you must visit Beamish Open Air Musem which is in North East England. It captures UK history in different era's and the staff dress up in the clothing of that time. You can also dress up and have your photo taken in a Victorian outfit, but not in a bath tub! 😁 x

Old West Town is like a film backdrop for a Clint Eastwood cowboy film. The Good, The Bad And The Ugly with its unique musical theme.
Nice to see another side to the US. Not overbuilt and masses of people everywhere. Some close of the Harleys would be good too. On the theme of bixe how about a trip to Spirit Lake Iowa the home of Indian Motorcycles. Also in the centre of the Iowa great laxe.
It's just as interesting to see you in your home country as it is in the UK. More!
