Used to live in Carson city in the 70's . We spent many Saturdays in Virginia City. They used to have ostrich and camel races there. Good times and found memories

I have never been to Virginia City in the winter, largely because Sonora Pass is closed in the winter and I live on the other side in Twain Harte. I love the moodiness of the snow and clouds. Thanks for a new view of Virginia City!

Great video! I love to watch videos of Virginia city when I can't be there. It touched my heart when I saw my Chocolate lab Kona Rose in the Washoe club, unfortunately she has since past on😔, your video made my day thank you! And yes that's me in the snow camo shooting pool. I was very surprised when I saw that as well. Virginia City is a very special place to my wife and I and we highly recommend a visit or two!

@@chasbruns My wife and I are locals on the North shore of Lake Tahoe we try and spend time in VC at least a half dozen times or so a year. We have made friends at several of the local shops over the years, (I think they liked our chocolate lab Kona mostly) LOL!, btw she is no longer with us. However it may be, we love staying a few nights and relaxing away from beautiful Lake Tahoe. If you or any of your followers are interested in the restoration or heritage of antique wooden boats I am employed at the largest restoration facility in the U.S. right here on the North shore. Just spent the night at the “Old Washoe Club”..Definitely has active paranormal phenomenon..If you are interested, you can call them up and arrange an overnight stay for up to 8 people..If you like the paranormal, you will not be disappointed..I am a regular person, who has investigated many haunted sites.The Washoe club is active as of 12-21-19..

My hubby and I are deciding to move here or not. I have a lot of family history here. We got married at the Silver Queen. My great grandpa has a leg buried there at the cemetery., he was a part of a mining accident.
