love my triumph rocket 3 roadster- no nav system, no boom 2 sound system to brake, the kickstand when engaged i have confidence it won't drop my bike, over 53k miles later and bike is still bulletproof
I believe it was a 900cc air cooled pushrod V-Twin by S&S. Not too sure what happened to it, it's not offered by them anymore. This is more than a few years ago.
Alf, I've always been a user of Japanese Branded Bikes, .... I say " Bring it on," and let's see how durable CF Moto and X-Wing really are. ... And, ... I'd like to see them hit the Canadian Market as well .... HD can stay in their home-space for all I care, I don't need a T-shirt company that also sells MC's to be dictating what to ride. Stay Safe.
Lets see if these bikes are welcome into the biking community. Especially the US market, and i wonder what the nick names will be. You know like Japanese bikes :: rice grinders, crotch rockets, ect.
Plain Jane bikes of any make or country of origin are fantastic, not everyone wants to spend 40,000 dollars for a motorcycle, it's only a motorcycle nothing more
The X Wedge engine by S&S was used in the Confederate and modern Hesketh motorcycles but is this just a chinese knock off made with cheap metals and shoddy engineering.
That remains to be experienced. But i know 1 thing. They do make bloody good electric cars : BYD, XPENG, ZEEKR, GEELY. If the Chinese can do that they sure as heck can make good bikes if they WANT. And if they turn out to good bikes but at a considerably lower price i'd have no peoblem with buying 1. Orher things to consider: dealer network and spare parts supply. Those need to be good.

Wasn't there a V twin made back in the , I think 90s that was called the X wedge?

The X Wedge was a motor by S&S
The X wedge motor looked exactly like that from S&S
One of those looks very much like the H-D Sport Glide. 😮

It was only a matter of time before the Chinese bikes start trying to take hold and offer their products.
Chinese bought the rights to the X-Wedge from S&S, which is why crate motors or parts aren’t sold on their website anymore.

Well, I've said it here before, I will quit riding motorcycles before I purchase a motorcycle from communist China; not going to happen.
marcus
Might wanna go ahead and stop riding, bike parts are imported from all over the world including china…..
@@williamwatkins2538 , not my parts!
