    Do u have a video already breaking down how to make a listing that is a 3-9 pack of framed artwork? Is this something thats easy to create? I get the concept of breaking the image up into multiple images for a custom pack of wall art, however not sure how to actually create the listing itself when syncing it up in etsy with ny pod shop. Or do places like printful etc. have a wall art selection already set to choose for making these set of 3, 6 or 9 (or however many) wall hangings? Perhaps this is a dumv question and i cpuld figure it out once playing around on the computer but figured id ask regardless because ive wondered this in the past when it comes to making lets say, tshirt pavks (u know one for the mum and one for the child type of thing).

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For the multi-pack, you'll need to order that manually for a customer using Printify's custom order feature. But it honestly takes 2 minutes to do so. During covid, I would often have to do manual orders for customers for a new print shop if a supplier I had connected to auto-fulfill got locked down and had their print shop closed. I got very very fast at it!

      @@WholesaleTed I was wondering the same thing about downloaded art to sell digital downloadable to print wall art or use for POD. Even if the art says it's okay to sell as is, Etsy states you have to design or make the item to qualify for handmade. If I download someone else's artwork unchanged to sell as digital art downloads then I didn't design it and using the same image with POD I am not making it either. Thoughts on this?
      From Seller Policy " b. What Can't be Sold on Etsy
      Reselling is not allowed in the handmade category on Etsy. Reselling refers to listing an item as handmade when you were not involved in designing or making that item."
      Thanks!

    This was a really inspiring video, I do have one question: Even on the images that are uploaded earlier than 2019 it says (when clicking on the "license" under the image):
    "You cannot sell or distribute Content (either in digital or physical form) on a Standalone basis. Standalone means where no creative effort has been applied to the Content and it remains in substantially the same form as it exists on our website." Is this just them slapping a standard wordsalad on all items? Or else it seems it's not allowed to use without substantial changes to the images...I'm a bit confused.

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      They purposefully confuse people by placing a link to their content license on every page. Most people think (understandably) that it means that the content license applies to all of the photos on the website. It's not true, but they know that they are implying it, and they want you to think that, is my guess. You can read more on the Pixabay Wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixabay

      @@WholesaleTed it's actually worse than that. In a bid to identify re-sellers and dropshippers on the platform, Etsy are using AI bots to seek them out - and unfortunately these bots are somewhat over-enthusiastic. So people who are genuine sellers of POD items like mugs, jewellery etc are suddenly finding their products de-listed after happily selling them for years. People in my e-com groups have shared the responses they've received from Etsy and although they vary somewhat, the common theme is that the item 'is not hand made' or is not unique and therefore must be a standard product that is being re-sold. In one sad case, someone whose Etsy products had been ripped off and copied on Amazon had her Etsy account suspended and products de-listed because the bots found the duplicates on Amazon and assumed she was therefore a re-seller! It's been causing a lot of grief.

      Well of course, that's exactly why as I showed people were selling the same exact photo, however, it's such a great photo that people love buying it all the time anyway and many different sellers are successful with it, it's a big enough market that lots of people can sell it. There is a very popular public domain photo of a camel I see being sold in lots of different furniture stores here locally as a print - it sells great in all of them.

    Hi, why we need Tineye to check previous history of the image whereas pixabay has public domain and is already allowed to sell that image as commercially?

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't need Tineye. I used Tineye to locate where the images were originally sourced from as a form of research. But you don't need to use Tineye to sell photos from Pixabay at all.

      Usually they are big enough for printing but you can always upscale a photo that you like that isn't suitable

      I had the same question, so I checked out a few free sites and found they have the same "no selling" policy as pixabay. I'm looking at using my own photos. I have decent camera gear and have some nice pix.

      Speadshirt has a lot less traffic than Etsy. You can make a lot more money on Etsy, than Speadshirt!

    Couldn't the same thing be done by creating images in Midjourney?

    • @WholesaleTed

      You can, but you'd have to keep them simple. Midjourney usually creates photos with weird oddities and that's not appropriate to sell

    Hi, You have very useful videos. I already wanted to apply your method and start selling photos on etsy, but I am in Ukraine 🇺🇦, and here etsy stopped working, it seems, from the beginning of 2021. Could you choose online earning methods that are available in Ukraine, or that are available all over the world, and make a video about it? If you have time and inspiration for it. In any case, thank you very much for your videos and your storytelling style🌷🙂. I wish your channel development!🌅

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you upload a photo to a POD product, it will tell you if it's in high definition or not, but basically, for it to print sharp it needs to be in 300 DPI which many photos uploaded to websites like Pixabay are 🌞

    Getting/creating products and getting traffic to your shop are 2 very different things

    • @WholesaleTed
      @WholesaleTed  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I plan to remake my video on this at some point, but my strategy is to focus on the product creation, not the marketing/traffic. Why? Because by focusing on the product phase, I do market research which identifies niches & subniches I can improve on. I target an audience already looking for products and then I fill that gap for them. That's why you see me talking so much about products, and not traffic. 3rd Party websites have so much search engine traffic available, and the way to get it is to have great conversions from a great product to maximize the impressions they always give stores, including new stores, as test impressions. This video discusses it, but again, I'd like to remake it at some point: th-cam.com/video/A-bQFXWppoA/w-d-xo.html

      You'll easily find a YT that covers marketing / traffic if not on here. Pretty sure everyone knows you can promote via your Socials or Pinterest is great - either way - it's just a search for anyone that wants to learn more and there will be a YT channel - guaranteed.
