    WHY SUBSCRIBE TO WHOLESALE TED?
Hey there I am Sarah (aka Ted). On this channel, I discuss topics for online entrepreneurs building businesses. And here is the truth when it comes to building a business: it isn't a way to get rich fast. Nope. A business is simply when you learn to do these 3 things really well:
    1) Creating or finding great products/services to sell.
    2) Putting those products in front of the right customers.
    3) Giving those customers a great reason to buy.
And each person will have their own journey to get there with a LOT of hard work & sacrifices along the way 💪👊 here on this channel, I make videos to help entrepreneurs along this journey. Some of the topics I discuss are:
    * Case studies of successful online businesses.
    * Tips, tricks & strategies on choosing the right online business for you.
    * How to make & sell products with ecommerce using beginner-friendly product sourcing methods (such as Print On Demand).
    * Tips & strategies to scale to more advanced product sourcing strategies (like wholesale fulfillment centers).
    * Help with some of the "legal stuff" (like trademarks & copyrights when doing business online).
    * And a sprinkle of entrepreneurial motivation thrown in too!
I hope my actionable content can help you: whether you're running your own online business/online store, or are in the process of building one, and want some tactical advice to help you along the way. If that is you, subscribe today! 🔥

Making rando sales on my POD designs makes me so happy. It feels like free money, just from spending half an hour or so on a random night/day whipping up a design and a mock up, posting it for sale. Mugs have been my best seller, then stickers, also sold an art print of one of my paintings. I love that I don't have to touch the items and its all automated on printful, updates my etsy for me. Hands free for the most part.

    • @DesireSantana
      @DesireSantana 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

@@riper17 thank you, I say just START and it could take a week, or a month but the sale will come! (I wasn't advertising at all keep in mind, just have etsy and use their advertising algorithm or whatever it can be called) If I was advertising my stuff on a Facebook page, or Instagram I could have had results in sales sooner, which I'm working on now. I made this rabbit mug for rabbit owners (I don't even own a bunny!) and I sold 3 mugs with the cute design on them, used placit to make the mock ups and found pictures of models who would be potential bunny rabbit owners and BOOM. Made a believable product... thanks to Sarah's help of course!

@@DesireSantana what's your experience with etsy? I used to sell on ebay and amazon for more than 9 years but I'm disappointed with them and was looking to start on etsy from scratch now selling via POD then connecting it on my domain and site and grow organically.

In my opinion, the gildan 5000 is a great shirt for retro designs and for people that that want a shirt for physical labor vs bella canvas 3001. The bella canvas 3001 is more of an around town casual t to wear at the mall and is a more snug fit than the gildan 5000. The gildan 5000 definitely hides my belly much better.

Thank you so much Sarah! I've had my Etsy print on demand store for a few weeks now. A couple hundred views over all but no sales. I've got good, bright photos, researched key words, did detailed description and redesigned popular designs in my niche. Can you take a look and help with what else to do? It's okay if it's brutally honest! I need that!

Don't mind me sticking my nose in but I've been on Etsy for 10+ years now and I know their ways 😅 If you're getting views but no sales there's something stopping them from hitting 'add to cart'. Analyse your listings - sizes clearly shown? Does the first image represent the cheapest option? (ie does the first listing show a poster size but the lowest price is a 8x10) Are your prices competitive to other shops? Do you accept returns? Is your niche 'niche enough' or is it over-supplied? Etsy has so much product now that people tend to browse a lot, adding to their cart to wait for discounts and looking for the cheapest version. The solution is to either be the cheapest (not recommended) or be something other people aren't while still targeting an audience large enough for you to get sales from.

What should I do if I have several ideas for many designs but everyone in another niche. I heard it's good to make a niche based store and fill it up with only niche specific designs but what should people do that come up with ideas everytime for another niche. As a real designer it's pretty frustrating to make 50 dog designs if you could make 50 individual designs instead.

Hi Sarah, I'm learning so much from you and about to open my first flex store for dog products! I'm a clubhouse member and it has been helping a lot...So excited :) THANK YOU!
QUESTION: I don't remember which of your videos it was, but I saw on one of your videos one time that you talked about a POD seller who sold blankets from Printify with dog owner's dog faces on them... I want to do something similar for the holiday season. However, I don't know how make this part happen?? When and how do I get the image of the owners dog and how do I set that up with printify? How do I automate this? I'm so curious and would love to hear your insight. Thank you!

Awesome videos you have up! Thank you for being an inspiration! I was hoping your last tip about black tees would answer my question, but using Printful my black images come out grey, as they underlay the image with a white layer. Is this the same for all print-on-demand suppliers, out is there a workaround that you know of? Thanks :)
