what i dislike the most is shadow hating sonic just because he's a funny guy
Literally cannot understand how sega justifies shadow hating sonic at all. Lets say he lost his memory. He shouldnt have vengance in thought to kill sonic because hes not a human. Two. Sonic is usally playful and kind to shadow. Three, moving forward in the series, games like adventure / and especially 06, they worked very well together. 06 really highlighted there ability to cooperate together. Jesus whats the point of making this guy evil
@@yvng_hero305as years went by, shadows treatment towards sonic has gotten really warmed by SEGA. Shadow not tolerating Sonic or being irritated by his humor? Ok I can understand that, not everyone has the same type of humor let alone charisma. But hating him for just being himself? That’s pretty far off with how shadow used to act with sonic
It depends on how they do it or he means by evil. Evil can means a few different things. Shadow is the type of character that good or evil, he will do what he needs to
He’s a morally grey character I just hope they stick to that if that shit will be a two pack of ass
@LocalTrapTV if they go down that route then rouge and omega needa to be involved. They are only ones( so far) who won't question his methods and if shadow truly believes he needs to he the evil, not just the villain, complete his mission then they would follow him.
That's exactly what Iizuka means.
Sonic Team literally have an anime where this idea is explored (Sonic X) where Shadow tried to kill Cosmo so Dark Oak couldn't use her anymore to steal information.
And Team Sonic get their asses beat trying to stop Shadow.
Shadow does morally dubious things for the greater good. He crosses that line that Sonic & co. won't.

@@LocalTrapTV I don't think you need to worry. Sonic Team worked on Sonic X. Iizuka being one of the ones who went through the script & made sure the characters were portrayed appropriately.
He's also doing the same for Sonic movie 3.
Safe to say, if there's a game with Shadow in a more antagonistic role, Iizuka will be there to make sure everything is portrayed appropriately. If not him, then Sonic Team veterans like Toyoda who wrote Episode Shadow in Forces, & the Sonic Channel stories.
We have another contender for " evil sonic" in surge( youll meet her later) just use her as the vegeta stand in.....hell she literally does a vegeta pose in the comics so shes perfect for that type of rival

I said this in the post, but Izuka says “as far as the other characters may see him”. Basically they’ll just have clashing stories. For the player, Shadow won’t be evil, but he will have conflict with the rest of the cast and they’ll think hes evil.
That sounds goofy.
At that point Shadow shouldn't even hang with the cast if they deem him as evil just because he doesn't agree with them which is normal.
Hell, Sonic doesn't agree with Knuckles half the time and Sonic doesn't say he's evil.
If they want a "evil" character or something, they should just introduce Surge at this point.
Surge and Kit would be sick.
If they wanna do an “Evil Shadow”, they could canonize Eclipse the Darkling, a character from the Archie Comics thats basically what Shadow would be if he fully embraced his Black Arms DNA and joined Black Doom.
Shadow doesn't care being good or evil, he would do anything to protect everyone from his world

I'm pretty sure by evil they mean their doing a sonic x situation where shadow knows something sonic and them don't and trys to hide it which would make them turn against shadow.
or they can bring hero shadow and dark shadow back where just like in the idw comic where shadow hears the chaos energy of the fake chaos emerald crystals talking to him it currepts his soul and mind turning him into a more evil form of himself, though dark shadow and hero shadow are already stated to be forced out do to curreption in shadows game so um.
I feel like a “ Evil Shadow” could be a sick idea but not in a way that reverts his character. Maybe do something like IDW with Zombot Shadow or a mind controlled or alt universe or something. Like a cool boss fight would be sick but not character regression.

I could understand something like Sonic and Shadow fighting like Meta Knight and Kirby.
Meta Knight does it to test Kirby to make sure he's not getting rusty.
Or Shadow can do it to keep Sonic from unleashing an evil like Sage did
I feel it all stems from the Vegeta comparisons, he wants to make Shadow so different to Vegeta that there can be no arguments made that they're in anyway similar, which is just... so dumb. I get wanting the character you basically created to be treated as his own character, but 1. NO CHARACTER IS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL! There should be no shame in taking inspiration from other things to create a character, look at Super Sonic for example: Clear inspiration from Dragon Ball's iconic Super Saiyan transformation and we don't see anyone complaining (apart from the oddball Sonic hater saying they stole Dragon Ball's flow)! And 2. By trying to deflect the claims of Shadow being similar to Vegeta, which again, isn't a bad thing, he's taking the things from Shadow's past appearances and the character growth he experienced in those games, tossing them to the side and cranking the edge up (He works alone, wanders the world alone, would work with the antagonists, only tolerates Sonic, etc.), in trying to to make your character so unlike another, you limit the potential their character has. Post SA2, Shadow has ALWAYS worked better as rival/ally to Sonic, 06 and, to some extent , Black Knight being perfect examples of that. So personally I don't like the words coming from Iizuka, it scares me to think that Shadow might be potentially regressing after only just making his grand return.

Bring Silver and/or Surge into Sonic Adventure 3.
