I enjoyed the tour of your 1994 Casita. My father passed in 2021 and its in good shape regarding the shell, tires, rims and all the windows have been tinted professionally on the inside. I shall remove all floor carpet and see what the floor looks like. There are currently no leaks. im not certain if ill apply laminate wood for im in the early remodeling stage.
Hi Moose! I know you have made a number of modifications since you first picked up the Casita which, I am sure, has made an already nice tiny home even more agreeable. I am curious about the cooktop vent; how good of a job does it do removing the cooking odor? Having lived in some small spaces myself, I know this is a big deal. Pray you are well.
Don't ruin it with solar panels a very high quality small generator will properly charge up all your power needs and is still useful around the house. They are very quiet use little fuel and will charge batteries in an hour then you can shut it off for the rest of the day. Solar is a trendy fad but if you must a portable unit to charge up the fan thing might be ok but keep in mind everything you hang on the roof or carry with you will cost in fuel regardless of the sunshine. Generator and lead acid power is actually more responsible and efficient than a lithium solar setup could ever be. And safer! Thanks for the look a very nice camper.
Beautiful ... God bless your "little house"!

It actually does a great job
I’ve always loved the Casida campers. This one is a nice size. What is the length of the camper itself (living quarters)?
About 10 ft inside

Hi Moose did you pull this trailer with a full or midsize truck? Could a Tacoma or Ranger handle something like the Casita easily?
Mid sized Chevy Colorado, yes-most any vehicle would be able to pull as weight us about 2000 pounds
