Envelope method. The main goal would be to save each month ahead of time so you have the money when needed. Once that system is set in place, then save more than what is needed. So there's eventually enough to cover for times when you can't work. If paid every two weeks, there's two extra checks a year which can be put towards non debt things or debt. Save first and then pay cash. Society is being led into a you don't get to touch the money that you exchange percentages of time of your life for through work so many won't budget and they want everyone to be renters. They want to hold your money (digital) so they can manipulate you. Renting everything from cars and houses to photography digital programs. You will own nothing because globalists will own everything. The only thing I would change from your plan is pay minimal amounts and save on the side instead of paying extra towards one thing. That way you have money for emergencies on hand but once you have a portion saved, then pay off the bill. You just hold the extra money instead of giving it to them little by little each month.

Good plan. After you get everything paid off then keep track what you don’t spend each month out of your income. That way you can see what you have in reserve. Which can give you some peace of mind when an emergency comes up. This help me when the rear end on my van went out.

Hi Moose! It is truly shocking how quickly credit card debt can get out of control. What you point out regarding all those small recurring expenses, such as streaming and eating out, is absolutely true. Until one gets a true read and mastery of ALL expenditures there will be no resolution. My approach is essentially the same as yours.

As many have already mentioned I too was concerned about your well-being Moose. This was a terrible hurricane season and your testimony of resilience may be a help for someone else who has lost and endured through Debbie, Helene and Milton. We aren’t on the coast yet are dealing with insurance and finding contractors to get the work done recovery isn’t quick. You have rebuilt your life before and will again I’m glad you put pride aside and asked for help because what you are going through is no fault of your making. God bless.
