That's what we expect from our Paddy, the nature, the local not the expat BS vlogs lol Thanks for getting back to what we enjoyed about your channel. Take care
Precisely what Thailand is all about, discovering new trails off the beaten track. There's a million vloggers doing trendy resorts but personally I prefer this style of travelling seen in this video, not predictable, never know what's going to pop up!
What makes his channel cool, is he's quite curious. Willing to stop and walk through an empty coffee shop, or get off his Dreamy and try to figure out what a plant is growing. On top of that, he's not afraid to be corny (think SAWADEE & his other phrases). Seems like a cool guy to hang out with.
@@travelingsober very true a cool well presented guy indeed. Whether it's cat's or dogs, chickens or other two legged friends, no one says Sawadeeee like Paddy! I'm still waiting to hear the P on the end of Sawade Khup' 🙏😉
Ok, that cat portion had me literally laughing out loud!! Thanks for another great video - Appreciate the time and creative effort it takes to create. Loving it from here in Wisconsin
The place is called chilling hill, it's Mr Dee the Thai chap that's in the video, he is one of the islands famous tattoo artists too, I have known Pee Dee for many years and he is a great guy.. I miss Samui, i will be back as soon as this covid mess is over.. Loving your videos, keep up the content..
The closed business made me sad but that man's hospitality made me cry 😢 so kind💓 Loved seeing the mom and baby 🐮 Btw u must be good ppl...cats are picky😺
Hiya Paddy, I love being a member to get to view your videos earlier is such a treat. Love it, you on dreamy the open road. Beautiful drone shots. Perfectly placed tunes. Always enjoyable content. This is when you seem at your happiest. Haha. Ok, don't kill me. Omg, you crack me up. You are so funny. Don't p..s them off. You always make me smile. You do have me cracking up, Paddy. Wow, you are amazing to take us along to these places. Very tranquil. Mysterious. Beautiful views. Lovely video. Thank you for sharing. Aww, that cat loved you. You gave rubs in all the right places. Sad, so many places have not got the business. Let's hope that things will change soon. So lovely they gave you fruit. Great video. Have a lovely day. Take care.
You are doing the right thing by exploring rural Ko Samui with dreamy and taking your time to admire natures treasure. Thank you for taking us along. I enjoyed every bit of it. Btw. this was an albino buffalo. They do not change colour while growing up. The birth of a sacred white buffalo is a sign of hope and an indication of good times to come. So let the good times roll, Paddy. 🍀 🌺 ⛅️ 👍 😃
That fruit is Malburry , the red one is young and turn purple when ripe , you can eat and it quite good for your health..(and the leaf is silk worm' s food!!..)
I really enjoyed this episode, many beautiful nooks and cranies that you took us to. Oh, love your "Samui Side Quests" animation, really cool; and the drone shot of a green hillside, you had it stop and suspend there for a few moments, with soft music, magical moment!!! You are getting better and better by the day!!!
Another cosy and great vlog, Paddy. Funny that cat. Actually wanted to bite to stop you from leaving. Hehehe. Thanks for letting us dream a little along with you, again! Hugs from Norway!
Great cooking school at Chilling Hill, had some people from my hostel cook there. I also had a couple of backpackers have to get a lift back to the hostel by the staff of Chilling Hill, as they were under the weather so to speak. Beautiful place. Tree Bridge coffee was another spot I used to send my backpackers to explore. It had nice coffee as well.
Lush green nature, that pristine and untouched part of Samui... We are so fortunate that we still have all of this here on the island. Very very beautiful vlog :)
Great Vlog! I googled “tree bridge coffee” shop & found their happier days photos on fb. I think it appears restrictions might be loosening & allow you to get on the road again. Good luck with whatever you choose. That banana 🍌 was HUGE!
Besides not making it to the waterfall and ending up in the closed restaurant, you did make some new friends Paddy 🐈🐕 and enjoyed some nice fruits to try 🙏 Thanks and C Ya in the next one 👊
Yay! You made it up there, Paddy! Thank you for taking us and being our lens to the beauty of the people and the island of Koh Samui! Such beautiful spots and amazing views!! The animals seem to like you a lot, except for the buffalo which almost attacked dreamy! Stay safe!
This video struck a chord given the abandoned places and the local struggle. Beautiful place and so glad you took the time to show it. Thanks as always Paddy!
So good to see you back on the road Paddy. Samui is such a beautiful place and the views are stunning. Its so sad to see places abandoned hence how fab is your charity boxing match 👏
Love your videos Paddy. We are in Australia and miss Thailand soooo much. We visit Thailand yearly, {before Covid) and when we went to Koh Samui many years ago, we went to the very top of the island in the North west, to see a sunset. We visited a little reggae style bar near a monk cave. It was an experience that we will never forget. If you were to visit this in one of your ventures it would be great to see again. keep up the good work, we are enjoying Thailand through your eyes. regards Denis and Diane.
Jack White once said: “Telling yourself you have all the time in the world, all the colours in the palette, that just kills creativity.” Being essentially forced to focus purely on Samui may well bring out the best in you yet, Paddy. Really enjoying the obvious efforts you're making to bring us these "deeper dives" into the island. Another first for a Thai resident vlogger.
I’ve been stuck in an office all day. Would far rather be looking at weird fruit. Every video makes me more exited about traveling. You rock, you know it.
It’s very interesting place you had found, sadly it’s no activity going on anymore, I guess it use to be a beautiful place to hang out for a nice cup of coffee with friends
Paddy the new side quest intro is fantastic! Who did the animated artwork ? It’s great Congratulations on the fund raising too, great fight and amazing what you guys have raised 👏🏻
love when you find these great places - sad the coffee place was overgrown but the other place you can tell they are just biding their time until all of us can come back!! The Thai people are just amazing!! Great one Paddy!
Lol...looks like the cat already found a new human to tame.😅 A red banana...that's something I've seen before, but never tasted yet. Gonna have to add that to the list of fruits to sample when I'm back in Thailand. 🤤
Love the videos Paddy, so happy to see yo are doing a lot better. I am sure it will just be a matter of time before you will be on the grand tour again. So inspired by your videos. Have a great day champ.
We loved watching your jungle trek. Weren't you scared of snakes? Anyway, seeing all that lovely Koh Samui scenery made us miss Thailand so much! We hope to be back there soon! Gar and Ann
The local/off the beaten path side of places are what make for best adventures/trips! Also, are all motorbikes manual? Are there any automatic ones? Lol
I found shrooms several times around cows all over Thailand. Once on a scooter drive from Chiang Mai to Pai I found over 3 KG in a area with a bunch of cows.
Paddy, try to look for paradise park on samui. It’s way up in the mountains and the best view point in samui if it’s still in business. Don’t think you will get dreamy up there tho , might need a 4x4
There was one time I came across a water buffalo while walking on the beach on Koh Rong Island (off the southern coast of Cambodia). It stared me down as I calmly walked by, gripped with fear it might charge. Luckily it didn't but your scene reminded me of that fear.
Did you, TH-cam boob, discover an attraction, an eatery, some history or a jot of culture in this viewing? In fact, did you learn anything about anything whatsoever at all at the other end of this video? Well, no. In fact, it could have taken place anywhere, the setting, nearly irrelevant. But you do know that come curtains you weren't ready for it to end. The jaunt atop 'the little engine that could' is the diary of a man absorbing and reacting to all the little unknowns in his field of view after he takes a turn off the paved road and ventures into the countryside. He's fluent, keen, immensely present, the remarks are palpable, as he transports you into his space. Hearts of stone, Paddy Doyle will make you smile.
