For anybody else who needs to hear this: It’s ok to pause the workout and take breaks. If you’re using a weight that’s challenging for you and doing enough reps to make your muscle(s) tired then you NEED that break. Your body is sending creatine to your muscles to give them energy and it takes anywhere between 3-4 minutes before your muscles have sufficient energy to go that hard again. I had to take more breaks than I would typically like to , but by the end I was drenched in sweat and had collapsed on the floor. Breaks are what fuel your muscles and get you ready for your next set. You will always need more breaks for heavy weighted workouts.
I know lol I wrote this comment just as much for myself as for anyone else. I always have to remind myself that recovery happens during rest and if I want this workout to work I have to rest. Form is also very important, my lower back felt really strained after doing so many squats and i had to take more breaks after that because the last thing I need is to have a lower back injury at 16 lol your form will be better the more breaks you take and therefore your workout will be that much better😉

The swing to squats and swings nearly made me cry the first time I did this workout about a year ago, and I had to drop my weights from 20 to 15 lbs. I'm so happy to find it was much more manageable this time around and I could stick with the 20s the whole time. The beauty of Caroline's workouts for me is the mental strength gains even more than the physical ones. It's so empowering to willingly do these tough workouts without complaining or getting frustrated. You have taught me how to overcome myself and my mental health is so grateful for you, Caroline!💓
Who else loves these longer workouts? Although split days are so beneficial, these full body dumbbell workouts are always fun! It's amazing how much we can do with just one dumbbell. I cannot wait to do this Friday morning!

This was amazing! If you do not see results, especially a nice derrière, at the end of this... you just sat and watched. On serious note, please know your limits and adhere to them. This is coming from someone who is very competitive and with myself as well. I have developed a mobility issue, and thought I would never be agile again. Even though I’m not able to do many of the things I used to, I am slowly able to somewhat do calf raises again, I have mastered the deep squat, what I am not able to do I modify; I’m the Queen of modifying 🤣 but I keep moving. So I encourage you to not stop, if it’s too hard, heavy, or looks impossible, but find your own rhythm, and keep crushing it. Get out there and work it team.❤️
I do not really know what to say about your workouts... Maybe just a few simple words: I love your TH-cam-channel and your workouts! It's like a completely new dimension to my sports routine. I get up and look forward to my sport. Kettlebell, exercise ball, dumbbells... I've had all of these for years. Finally it is used. 💪 Thank you!

I started doing the workouts with Caroline almost 1 year ago, and I'm so glad to see some real progress! I've never been able to do full push-ups, but now I enjoy it! 😆 Hoping to run my first ever 10k in two months, I'm confident I can do it! Thank you for the great workout programs!
This was terrific! I tried doing this workout yesterday but, I was extremely tired just 10 minutes in. Your body won't be at it's peak everyday and that's okay. I finished the whole workout today and felt amazing! I feel proud of myself for showing up everyday regardless of the circumstances. You're an angel for giving us these workouts for free, Caroline!

I've been redoing EPIC II. I didn't think I was going to need the fan today because it's getting cold in the gym. Oh boy, I was wrong. 20 minutes in, I had the fan on full blast and stood right in front during the calf raises. Loved today's workout. Definitely felt the 1.30 seconds of work! I would love an EPIC mat; and reckon that might be something she could do more easily? Clothing can be a bit tricky - hardware (except dumb bells of course!) can be a bit easier to source 🥰

Going to close off this week with this workout perfectly . Followed your calendar and did the one hour hardcore HIIT yesterday for active recovery . I have never felt better . You have no idea how you have changed my life , Caroline. I read an interview where you talked about daily fluctuations in body weight on scale and it hit home for me . I have suffered with the pressure of scale numbers for years . This new year , I threw my scale . I don’t care about slim arms anymore , I want arms that can lift heavy weight , and strong biceps , back and triceps . I don’t want thigh gap or snatched waist , I want strong quads , low body fat percentage and strong glutes that carry me through life . This has been liberating . My husband jokes that I have been a happier person since I found Caroline . You are so popular in my family . My seven year old son keeps saying ‘ Let’s go’ all day long the way you say it . It keeps me motivated ,strangely . Gosh , I am ranting , but I love you so much 😍

I love this workout. It gets my heart rate pumping and best of all, I love that the abs workout was done at the start (most workout video waits for the end). I go to the gym often and this workout is 100% better than what I get at the gym. Thanks Caroline ❤

What a journey this has been! It's been the first time i have done a triset and completed an hour workout! Before, i just did 45-50mim since i didn't have enough time or was too tired. You are making me prioritise rest, challenge myself and my thoughts (like, i thought ooff 30s rest, that will be too much; but they flew by!), And aah my anxiety levels were so high this morning and thanks to this i have unwinded! The list of things that i thank you for just keep getting longer and longer :,) you are the best trainer ♥️

Think this maybe my favourite full body friday yet!! Thats probably cos I love squat to swings and any kind of swing. Noticed how you're getting the HR higher in epic 2 and its certainly working. When all this is over, I will definitely be doing this one again. Think my favourite round was the snatch one. After a nice gentle start with abs, HR shot up to 161 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It took me a lot of break to finish this one! Too tough! I finished this 1 1/2 hours and it took me to finish 2 hours since my mother went to my workout place that I had a hard time finishing since she is too nervous so I had to stopped, instead, I do jumping squat, squat pulses, jumping squat with bands, and jumping jack to keep my body warm 😂. I wasn't satisfied with my performance here but I know I did my best and it was really tough no doubt! I am still epic tho from not stopping! We are all epic! If you struggle here then it means it is really a good one! Water really taste delicious when working out a good workout. 😂 Thank you, Caroline! I am now showering with sweat all over my body and I am loving it. 😂❤
With your exercises and other bodyweight exercises, I have managed to convert my chicken wings arms into muscular arms. In June I will be 50 years old and then I hope that with your exercises I have transformed my cellulite on my legs into toned legs. My abdominal muscles also grow and chase away the belly fat. Did (crawled!) this workout (with many breaks and some modifications) after receiving a positive COVID test result. It was much tougher than normal but still doable as long as you take the breaks and honor your body. My brother-in-law (who is a front-line medical doctor and COVID survivor) says that continuing to exercise (reasonably, while respecting your body’s needs) when you have COVID helps the healing process, so I took a break yesterday but will try to keep up as much as possible. Hope you all will eats as healthy as possible, gets enough sleep, care for yourself when you’re struggling or stressed, keeps doing these workouts and stays safe and healthy! Much love to all!

Hi everyone ! Greetings from France ! Though I've been doing Caroline's workouts since nearly the beginning I've never posted a comment before because you all said it all. It's like we shared the same brain sometimes! I think I need the community's support today 😭😭😭. I went through hell with that workout. I did it with 2x5kg for most exercices, 2x6kg for triceps and 2x10kg for deadlifts and renegade rows but I had to take pauses where there wasn't supposed to be any (well, I always do that), I had to skip swing/squats...I've been reading your comments and been feeling very lonely🙁. I read a comment yesterday from Linda who's 67 and, really hats off to that lady ! I'm 56 and really struggling with that Epic II! I hope next time I post I'll be more positive. Don’t ever feel bad for struggling or taking breaks. I would be willing to bet that most of us do that. The important thing is showing up and doing your best. No matter what kind of day I am having, I always feel better after a Caroline workout!

I loved how she knocked the wall behind her during the swings and moved a bit forward like nothing happened 😇 It's later that i noticed like : is it a stain on my screen or... ? It could have happened to anyone and it just shows that she's really doing this with us, so focus and tired that you don't pay attention to the world around you 🥵 thank you for being here everyday for challenging but fun sport sessions !! 🧡 (for those who wonder, it's around 24:40, it took me some time to find the specific swing)

I have been in quarantine for about a year, trying out home workouts here and there. It has been tough, I usually went to the gym pre lockdown but for some reason i could never last longer than 15 mins or even 10 mins at home with minimal equipment. I never thought I could do an hour long home workout. Caroline is amazing. 😭😍

This was terrific! I tried doing this workout yesterday but, I was extremely tired just 10 minutes in. Your body won't be at it's peak everyday and that's okay. I finished the whole workout today and felt amazing! I feel proud of myself for showing up everyday regardless of the circumstances. You're an angel for giving us these workouts for free, Caroline!

I've been redoing EPIC II. I didn't think I was going to need the fan today because it's getting cold in the gym. Oh boy, I was wrong. 20 minutes in, I had the fan on full blast and stood right in front during the calf raises. Loved today's workout. Definitely felt the 1.30 seconds of work! You have no idea how you have changed my life , Caroline. I read an interview where you talked about daily fluctuations in body weight on scale and it hit home for me . I have suffered with the pressure of scale numbers for years . This new year , I threw my scale . I don’t care about slim arms anymore , I want arms that can lift heavy weight , and strong biceps , back and triceps . I don’t want thigh gap or snatched waist , I want strong quads , low body fat percentage and strong glutes that carry me through life . This has been liberating . My husband jokes that I have been a happier person since I found Caroline . You are so popular in my family . My seven year old son keeps saying ‘ Let’s go’ all day long the way you say it . It keeps me motivated ,strangely . Gosh , I am ranting , but I love you so much 😍

I love this workout. It gets my heart rate pumping and best of all, I love that the abs workout was done at the start (most workout video waits for the end). I go to the gym often and this workout is 100% better than what I get at the gym. Thanks Caroline ❤

What a journey this has been! It's been the first time i have done a triset and completed an hour workout! Before, i just did 45-50mim since i didn't have enough time or was too tired. You are making me prioritise rest, challenge myself and my thoughts (like, i thought ooff 30s rest, that will be too much; but they flew by!), And aah my anxiety levels were so high this morning and thanks to this i have unwinded! The list of things that i thank you for just keep getting longer and longer :,) you are the best trainer ♥️

Think this maybe my favourite full body friday yet!! Thats probably cos I love squat to swings and any kind of swing. Noticed how you're getting the HR higher in epic 2 and its certainly working. When all this is over, I will definitely be doing this one again. Think my favourite round was the snatch one. After a nice gentle start with abs, HR shot up to 161 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It took me a lot of break to finish this one! Too tough! I finished this 1 1/2 hours and it took me to finish 2 hours since my mother went to my workout place that I had a hard time finishing since she is too nervous so I had to stopped, instead, I do jumping squat, squat pulses, jumping squat with bands, and jumping jack to keep my body warm 😂. I wasn't satisfied with my performance here but I know I did my best and it was really tough no doubt! I am still epic tho from not stopping! We are all epic! If you struggle here then it means it is really a good one! Water really taste delicious when working out a good workout. 😂 Thank you, Caroline! I am now showering with sweat all over my body and I am loving it. 😂❤

With your exercises and other bodyweight exercises, I have managed to convert my chicken wings arms into muscular arms. In June I will be 50 years old and then I hope that with your exercises I have transformed my cellulite on my legs into toned legs. My abdominal muscles also grow and chase away the belly fat. Did (crawled!) this workout (with many breaks and some modifications) after receiving a positive COVID test result. It was much tougher than normal but still doable as long as you take the breaks and honor your body. My brother-in-law (who is a front-line medical doctor and COVID survivor) says that continuing to exercise (reasonably, while respecting your body’s needs) when you have COVID helps the healing process, so I took a break yesterday but will try to keep up as much as possible. Hope you all will eats as healthy as possible, gets enough sleep, care for yourself when you’re struggling or stressed, keeps doing these workouts and stays safe and healthy! Much love to all!

Hi everyone ! Greetings from France ! Though I've been doing Caroline's workouts since nearly the beginning I've never posted a comment before because you all said it all. It's like we shared the same brain sometimes! I think I need the community's support today 😭😭😭. I went through hell with that workout. I did it with 2x5kg for most exercices, 2x6kg for triceps and 2x10kg for deadlifts and renegade rows but I had to take pauses where there wasn't supposed to be any (well, I always do that), I had to skip swing/squats...I've been reading your comments and been feeling very lonely🙁. I read a comment yesterday from Linda who's 67 and, really hats off to that lady ! I'm 56 and really struggling with that Epic II! I hope next time I post I'll be more positive. I have been in quarantine for about a year, trying out home workouts here and there. It has been tough, I usually went to the gym pre lockdown but for some reason i could never last longer than 15 mins or even 10 mins at home with minimal equipment. I never thought I could do an hour long home workout. Caroline is amazing. 😭😍
