Very nice so easy and simple recipe looking so yummy 😋😍 I will definitely try this easy and quick recipe thank you so much for sharing like this recipes 👍👍👍
I don't have pressure cooker, In order to save some time to cook toor dal, will you suggest me to grind the Tor dhal into powder first and then cook it in water? To make raw mango rasam, we should get the very sour raw mango?
I've seen them sold as 'green mango' in an Asian grocery, they looked much like that; so yes, unripe. But I think raw is an idiomatic term? I've heard it used a few places.
@@Nikhil-ty3rk Hey, good to know! Just like how "Mutton" is goat in India and Pakistan, right? I really appreciate the lesson, my friend. I also learned some time ago that we can't get the right kind of green or "raw" mangoes here in the United States for making pickles, and I can tell the texture and flavor differences between my own mango pickles and those of commercial Indian producers. Is there a specific varietal in India you use to make your pickles?
@@adamchurvis1 The place I've seen ones that look like the ones in the video where I live (US, West Coast) was in an Asian grocery with a lot of Indonesian and Vietnamese foods. I never tried to make pickles from them, so not sure if it's the right texture, but if you can get to a few Asian markets they may have a few varieties to try from.

Rather than "Raw," don't you mean "Unripe"?

In Indian English, "raw" referring to fruits, is understood to be "unripe".
Many fruits in Indian cuisine are used in both forms.

Not able to see rasam on basmati rice🤢🤮
Hey, you can even mix the rasam with regular rice & enjoy it.
This seems like ripe mango not raw mango lol
