- Fresh off a five-year restoration and new engine build, the car is powered by 302-based stroker punched out to 363 cubic inches, and is topped off with four Weber 48 IDA carburetors. Initial tuning yielded 375 rwhp and 408 lb*ft to the rear wheels. Audio is brought to you by long-tube 1-3/4" headers and a custom three-inch 304 stainless steel exhaust with x-pipe. Enjoy!

Webers on a SBF!!! So sweet
ameeerrrica ameeerica god shed his grace on theee! cant help but feel patriotic right now. Must be something about a loud mustang with racing stripes speeding past a golden field of corn. *salutes*
AWESOME!.👍
Audio by Shelby American! 💪
Get in, hold on & shut up....😀
Crackle, crackle, pop, pop... sounds sweet!
Thanks. Keep in mind this is a 10.5:1 street engine peaking under 6K rpm. I was actually pleased with the power and torque (408 rwtq) curves, given the mild setup and going through a hefty driveline (steel flywheel, Toploader, 9" rear-end). I went with a mild cam with wide LSA, etc to ease the tuning of the carbs with IR manifold. I'm currently building another vintage Mustang to roadrace (a '70), and that will be a different story...not running Webers on it, though..
Nothing can replace that original sound!!!....Yes, fuel injection is great, but carbs are way funner!!!
That sounds sooo scary.. Amazing bro!
Man that is nice crisp. Would love to see more of it.
oh o.o. you made the mustang into a gt 350,, at first I thought you had bought a brand new clone .. which are very expensive, if they even make clones for this car,,, well, bad ass car none the less!
Have had two sbf's with webers...nothing sounds better!!!
Sounds Mint!
a very good machine!!!...
That's cool!
Horsepower baby Ford powered pony
gotta throw on a set of glass packs with a side exhaust!
awesome! Not afraid of hitting a bump with the oil sump?
sounds awsome but only 375? were hitting almost 300 with a 152 inch pinto on dcoe webbers.
You shoot with your feet ?
Can someone educate me since I'm contemplating building a small block Ford. What is the benefit of weber's over a conventional carb, aside from being different? Couldn't you accomplish the same thing with a conventional carb drawing = cfm?
If they are set up right - they go as good as *anything* you can put on an engine.
Do the IDA's fit under the factory hood?
BarnettMotorsport - it should, but you may not get much of an air cleaner.
badass Mustang right in the corn fields, doesn't get anymore American than that
I want to hear it ldle
