That's like a big bracket cam in action, lol... I've got a bone stock 65 A code 289 bottom end with a 108 cam that has a net lift of.551 at the seat .232 @ .050 68 4VJ code heads on it that have been ported, and bigger Farrea valves in them it's like 10.5-1. I've run a 780cfm carb on it, but little too much for just around town. First time I started it up in the driveway uncapped, my neighbor came out got on her broom, and circled the house a bunch of times.... Cobra Automotive top notch stuff without a doubt....
Wow-love your car. Curt at Cobra Automotive is building my 1966 GT 350 SFM6S2148 at the moment. I had them redo everything on the car.$ 225k everything everything. It should be basically a brand new 1966 GT 350 with 400 ftlbs of torque and close to same thing at high revs. It’s a matching motor. I had a Tremec 5 speed installed this time (again). Should run like a raped ape and be reliable. AND have a radio. : )
Hi, i've contacted cobra automotive to purchase the same camshaft as you have in that car... i would greatly appreciate to know what the engine number is or the customer's name so Cobra automotive can guide me to the same model for my project car... A huge thanks in advance, your car is amazing!
Simply excellent drive and sound. (except - don't take it offensive - that tacho sitting there like my granny's tick-tock table watch, killing the elegance of the dash). Way much better seenery than track days...
@@lashss Give it to my illiteracy... honestlyi I didn't know that. I'm not an expert but I dearly love 65/66 Mustangs as they look more compact and nimbler compared to later models. And the slightly curved roof of fastbacks are priceless in my eyes. I love 67-69 Barracuda Notchback's body shape very much for the same reasons. About the factory tacho sitting there, my point was only esthetistics and sure it is something subjective, not about functionality. After all, that is your car and you are sacred in my eyes just for having it. All the best.

When is all the excitement supposed to start, how about a holeshot and not a road race, unless you're scared of it, what a waste of a good built Ford 289!!! SMDH!!

God damn this thing is the definition of a raw car, pure sound and power, no luxuries. Thanks for sharing sounds awesome
Custom built 295 cu in race motor that revs to 8000rpm. Long tube headers to 3" X pipe, 18" bullet mifflers and side exits.
