Hey cool to see Insta360 here, I think the GO 2 is an awesome camera and would love a secure mount that would work for something like surfing. Having a camera that small mounted on you while surfing would be much better than something like a GoPro just because of size alone.
It looks brutal, I know - but my brother (the guy I was running down in that shot) was actually fine! (Obligatory: you should probably wear a helmet, unlike idiots like us.)

He’s an idiot, “when phones were fun” implies that phones aren’t fun anymore. I have far more fun on a modern smartphone than I did with a boring dumb phone that only made calls and occasionally texted, poorly.
Your reviews are consistently fun, full of life, and still give great insight to the product in question and is what truly hooked me on you and your channel. This camera looks real fun to use outside of the pairing process. Hopefully they make a second one that improves its flaws

I LOVED my Go2 for the two weeks it lasted, those little tripod legs are great until it falls and the internal lens breaks. I'll probably buy another one and be more careful as it lets you capture things that you would never capture with anything else. I miss the little fella.
@@tanksoo There's no reason why that should be the case though. Especially when tons of laptops are moving to USB-C ports only, that effectively means I literally wouldn't be able to connect the camera to a computer because of Insta360's nonsensical limitation.
Nothing is EVEN BETTER on a review than THE Mr. Mobile review. I said it. He can turn an ordinary gadget review into a story telling that Streaming services can pick up. Sheer finesse on point.

I’ve had ruff setups and even one camera heated up so bad I contacted support. Long story short technical support blew my problem off. So kinda of a love hate relationship with company.
those accessories look pretty cool. after al these years with other action cameras, the versatility is definitely key to long-term usefulness. Dealing with the rough setup is a shame though, tech-enthusiasts might be able to deal with it but kids and boomers might find themselves up a creek

I want to like the camera, but after seeing your video, its making me second guess my want. the fact that your quip that the Z flip would be more useful is a tick against it too. But that pivot stand and the magnetic back IS enticing. Thanks for the video Michael. And oof to the scooter crash.
At 8:57 it's said that the included usb-cable is the only one that works, that's incorrect, atleast for my unit. I've never used the stock cable and have the camera connected to my PC right now using a regular oneplus cable that I also use with my phone. Suppose you could have an older firmware or it could be that it only works with usb-c to a and not usb-c to c.
"the circle" is nearly complete. The technological advances that are part of these dystopian stories seem to be on the rise. Let's hope that we learn from these fictions, so that they may remain so.
Really enjoyed this vid. For once it didn't look like to video quality of the insta360 go 2 was amazing it just looked true to natural low light. Enjoyed the vid nice review

I've fallen in love with my Go2 too. It's so practical and easy to carry and use even with all it's flaws

AFAIK you can order just the camera alone from insta360 support, last I heard was something like 160-180$

Yeah. I mean that shouldn't be a thing with usb-c, if implemented correctly.
It just doesn't work with a USB C-C cable, I tried with other A-C cables and they are all good.

This reminds me a lot of the re camera by HTC. I loved that camera really cool. Just the quality and connection times held me back.

Every one of those negatives/caveats is an absolute deal-breaker at $300 imo, and the cable one at any price point. Shame.
