Only herself, she has too much time on her hands. That's why she tries to continue to run her son and DILs life. If her husband didn't like her housecleaning I'm sure he would have said something to her, but it sounds like he was happy

Another story with a Daughter in Law saying "I'm Sorry" 80 to 100 times in 15 minutes.
Once or twice I could understand but every dahm time she speaks it's "Hello, I'm sorry or Good morning, I'm sorry or Good night, I'm sorry. Who writes this stuff? Nobody, not even kindergarten kids who mess up say "I'm sorry" this much. A married responsible Adult woman that pays her own bills saying "I'm sorry" constantly all the time to her Mother in Law is unrealistic and ridiculous.

Where are you getting the model for MIL’s? You are describing women from the 1950’s and earlier. Women in the 21st century do not wait on their husband’s hand and foot, having a bath drawn and dinner ready the moment the husband walks in the door from work. Wives never needed to work or do housework while sick. In most families both parents are working and should share housework and childcare.
If a MIL lives with the couple it should be decided by the couple and expectations must be decided or it will be a complete disaster. Multiple generations may need to live together in this economic climate. I would never expect to live with my daughter and her husband and have them give me their room, cover my expenses and do all of the housework.
