Nice video Jim. I have a set of these irons, and whilst they are a little chunky on the eye, they certainly work. Would recommend them to anyone, and I am not a massive TM fan

Jim, I bought a P790 UDI a few years ago and it came with a graphite hzrdus shaft that is .370 in size. A P790 UDI is a .355 hosel size from what I can tell, so the graphite shaft must of been sanded down at the tip, to fit in. In less than a year of playing with it I cracked two of the hzrdus shafts. I looked up the specs and saw the head hisel size is .355. I had a old steel shaft that was .355, it dry fit well so I ordered a Steelfiber 95 graphite shaft that was .355. When I got it, it was prepared like the shafts you show in your video. It was ground down so much that the shaft tilts back and forth when put into the hosel. Why do they grind off so much of the shaft that it no longer fits, or was this a fluke incident?
Thanks, love learning how to build clubs from your videos.

Unfortunately the maker of the golf clubs take different approaches to the hosel. Where some will wiggle as you explained and require a centering ferrule and some will use a .370 but add a small tip addition to fit using a 355. Such a PXG.

Have any tips on removing the TM bullet weights in the hosel?

Would steelfiber shafts benefit from Pure-ing? I've been wanting to try heavier composite shafts for dampening and consistency now that we've moved into an era where they don't all weigh 60g and flex like a senior club

Do you swing weight after new shaft replacements?
