Being a DR 650 Se owner, I can tell you 1st hand of a MAJOR problem I've experience with the things. its 3rd gear engine destruction. Caytastrophic engine failure. Seen this with my bake (157,500Kms old) and my mates (35,000kms old). Don'y buy one unless you like the though of sitting on a hand grenade!

Well I've never heard of that before. Mind you 157,000 ks. That's a heap of ks! 35 is more worrying.
Oops no I made a misstake. My bike had only 17500km on that engine. Suzuki know about this. And told me about 1 in 1000 bikes suffer this.
