So, I am at the 8 minute mark in, and I am already blwn away with the magic this episode is bringing.. There is something so special about a bare bones rig in a vast emptyiness desert.. Amazing footage men! now back to th show.
Great work guys. I’m 68 and have done the desert 6 times once as a support crew for 13 push bike riders. My brother is 76 and new to the 4WD life. We are planning a first crossing of the SIMMO for him before as he says he gets too old.
@@hhhllkk88 yes we have been across. Up to Hamilton Station, Dalhousie across the WAA and on to Birdsville. Crossed over the easy way so the brother wouldn’t get stuck. But being stubborn he managed anyway. He loved every minute.
To Graham and the boys thank you for showing us hear in Australia and the rest of the world what a truely remarkable country Australia is, thank you a grate episode, keep them coming.
Seeing these old trucks go through reminds me how spoilt we are in our modern 4WDs. My 100 series eased it's way through the Madigan both times and seeing the farm trucks pushing through is a stark reminder how tough this can be. Quality work gents - keep it coming.
Being a former owner of a Series 2a Landy in Namibia the joy with old vehicles is they protect themselves by being so uncomfortable if you go too fast. Modern vehicles smooth out the ride so much it is quite easy to damaged them by going to fast. Amazing country - great trip guys.
Pete and that truck of his are a couple of monsters. Just goes to show what light weight and a great driver can do for you, he's consistently one of my favorites to watch since he's just drama free and easy.
This is what I love about 4wd 24/7, a bunch of great blokes driving mean rigs out on beautiful tracks that a normal person wouldn't see. I wish one day I could come out Australia and take up an adventure with the 4wd crew on one of these breath-taking tracks.

I've seen a couple of your videos in the past but recently subscribed. As an American I love the way you Aussies build out your rigs and use some parts as inspiration for my own wrangler. While doing the Simpson desert is on the list of 4x4 things to do, my current goal is to do all the BDR trails we have here. So far I've done most of the Colorado BDR.
Me and a few boys have started the planning for a nearly 2-week trip to Fraser Island once we finish our last exams for school. Already sorted out what rigs are coming and are currently working out campsites based on where we want to go (tough to choose as Fraser looks like such an awesome place). Definitely taken some inspiration from your boys eps at Fraser. Thanks for another good watch!
Definitely recommend central station for the first night on the island, close to lake Mackenzie and you can easily go west from there first or back east and then continue north Also be ready for March flies at dusk around the beach😅
Bucket list trip coming up in 3 weeks....Mace Town track, Sth Island NZ, 25 River crossings, no exit so you turn round and do it all in reverse. Takes you to one of the oldest gold mining towns in NZs gold country. The old rock battery is still there and many other eye ball treats along the way. An EVC-X on my px3 ranger would top throttle control for me. 👌
I'm planning a huge 4WD touring trip this year starting in October, mainly thanks to you guys inspiration and the amount of fun it is just 4WDing for the day. Being super keen to get out there and experience a lot of Australia, hopefully going again after this trip the year after to maybe eastern Australia. A throttle controller would help a lot, as I have a Nissan Navara and doing these tough tracks would be a lot less worrying with a throttle controller for the big girl. But either way it's going to be a heap of fun for everyone involved. Day 1-3: Perth to Margaret River Day 4-6: D'Entrecasteaux National Park Day 7-9: Albany and Denmark Day 10-12: Cape Le Grand National Park Day 13-15: Great Australian Bight Day 16-18: Googs Track and Gawler Ranges Day 19-21: Coober Pedy and Oodnadatta Track Day 22-24: Flinders Ranges, South Australia Day 25-27: Gawler Ranges (again) and Fowlers Bay Return to Gawler Ranges and explore different tracks. Day 28-30: Pilbara Region, Western Australia

My bucket list trip: Germany -> Australia Driving from northern Germany all the way to Singapore. From there by boat/ferry to Darwin and then to the house in Gold Coast 🔥 Bought a brand new NP300 for the journey. The build is half done all lights, wiring & electric is done. Bullbar, sliders are ordered currently shipping to me. The custom roll cage get engineered. As soon as that’s done, I’ll get new suspension, a lift and 35” and off we go! Estimated departure is July 2024 I could really use the EVCX for the trip 😅 Hope that journey makes it in the top5. 🤞 You boys are the true inspiration for my journeys to keep on pushing
Planning a gals trip on the Oodnadatta for a start. Already made the road trip in a convoy of 5 when I was 18. So super keen to show my sisters what is what. My sisters are beginners to 4WD adventuring. We absolutely love watching you guys. And now the Simpson Dessert is on our bucket list❤🎉 thank you fellas
Watching from my off grid home in the mountains of BC Canuckistan, surrounded by a "little" forest fire, but I have food, Jesus and beer, so we're all right mates. What an epic adventure you all are having! My bucket list includes bringing my little 4Runner to Oz and driving on the wrong side of the road! Good on ya!
A little tip for you. lay your first layer of that locktite 406 down and wait for it to dry , then drizzle a layer of Bicarbonate of soda over it and drip some more of the locktite onto that (you can repeat that a few times to build a thick layer if you like) but any superglue and Bi Carb makes a rock hard substance that is also super strong ! We use to use it to fix the small piston engines to radio controlled aircraft !
Me and 2 support workers(ism in wheelchair) are planning a trip from Tassie to the horizontal waterfalls in North West Western Australia next year. Can’t wait

Awesome episode lads. Myself and my 7 year old son love watching your episodes. Watching your show is very much a joy for both of us. I think secretly, even the misses and my daughter enjoy watching. I must say during COVID, we watched a heap of your shows. Which I appreciate beyond imagination!! Which led myself, and my brother in law planning a trip to Fraser Island. It’s taken lots of planning, as we are planning this trip with us living in the southern states. I’m in Victoria and he lives in SA. There is a large convoy going (6 or 7 4wds at this stage. We hit the Island on 9/10/2023!!!! Only 40 more sleeps I think. This will be trip of a lifetime. Even my cousin has postponed his trip to Las Vegas to join us. I would love an Ultimate 9 in my little 2007 BT50 to show up all the big rigs going. Keep the episodes rolling Myself and family love the show.
My dad, my brother and I wanna take on the Cape next year, absolute bucket list for us three as all three of us have never been and doing a camping trip like we used to as kids is just something special especially as my brother and I get older
My Ultimate 9 bucket list Starting Point: Victoria 1. Victorian High Country, VIC Heading North along the East Coast 2. Fraser Island, QLD 3. Moreton Island, QLD 4. Cape York Peninsula, QLD Across the Top End 5. Gunbarrel Highway, WA/NT Heading South along the West Coast 6. Gibb River Road, WA 7. Canning Stock Route, WA Heading East across the South 8. Flinders Ranges, SA 9. Simpson Desert, SA/NT
So I got myself a next gen ranger about 6 month ago. I have now decked it out relatively well and planning a big trip. Plans have changed as the big C has come to haunt me so towards the end of the year I will travel around Australia as I have done many times driving road trains now it’s time to relax and have a look at this beautiful country while I still have a chance. Keep up the great work guys your an inspiration to many.
Beer cans have a plastic liner.. Don't fancy it personally Kinetic rope would be an awesome addition to your recovery kit, take the big hit out of those dead pulls. Matt's Offroad is probably the best example of how useful they can be. Great for flat towing or popping things up out of a hole.
Planning on heading up to K'gari Island with about 6 4x4's and 12 mates from Vic. Doing half in the Sandy Cape and the other half at Woralie creek. It's a bit of a mission getting up their from Vic but that's all apart of the fun!
Hey boys, I'm planning to be on the road for a couple days, The Oodnadatta Track down in South Aus. Coming from Perth past Brema Bay, Albany, Esperance, and then straight to Marla to kick the track off. Should be a good one with the Paj and the caravan. Would go great an EVCX! Thanks lads.👌👌
Absolutely loving seeing the old farm rigs tackling the Simpson desert. My bucket list trip is using lanes and off-road routes going from where I live in North East England and working my way down into France and along to Andorra to then tackle the old smugglers routes in the mountains around Andorra
Been waiting all day to watch since I saw the notification this morning! What an epic trip, not much more getting back to the roots of 4x4 driving. Those old girls are OG.
Good looking camp feed. Just bought a Patrol as my first 4WD and am currently setting it up for a bucket list trip to Cape York next year with my Dad. Love the EVC Patrol, definitely gives inspiration for my build.
Hi, I'm watching this from the Philippines cause I'm the Philippines. Enjoying very much this episode, and yes the throttle controller is working like a dream.
I’ve been getting into 4WDing with my husband after watching the channel for years, our dream bucket list trip is to do the big trip across Australia in our new Dmax to show my husband the beautiful Busselton / Margaret River region where we holidayed when I was little!
Good day all. Lad from South Africa here. Myself my Wife and 2 daughters, my father and couple of our beste friend are planning our first overlanding trip to Botswana 🇧🇼 , looking on staying atleast 2 weeks and I have alot going on with my UTE that needs to be modified before then. So fingers crossed all goes well and we love 4wd 24/7🤙thanks for all the great motivation in doing what we love.
Coming up to 20yrs at my current job so time for a change. Making the most of the period in between jobs and planning a massive 2 month family trip along the Savannah Way. Ultimate 9 would make an amazing addition to workhorse!
Two part metal epoxy is the go for fixing leaks from metal parts. Resists mosts chemicals, tolerates high temps, is easy to work with, sticks like poo to a blanket & cures in minutes. I've fixed cracks in fuel tanks, a cracked thermostat housing & repaired a snapped lightbar mount. Heck, I've even used it to repair my dirt bike motor when I hit a rock & smashed a fist size hole in one side of the engine case. Took 2 full tubes but that bike kept running for another year until I replaced the cases.
Currently got a Fraser trip planned to go for mid january which me and a few boys are absolutely keen as for. Us lads finished high school last year so itll be a good time to get together, enjoy some 4wd'ing and camping at one of the Australia's best spots. Super keen to tick this one off the bucket list! Thanks to the 4wd action boys for showing us what we're missing out on, and getting us keen to get out and see this awesome country 🤙
Planning a big trip through the Namibian desert with cousins and good friends. Wife and kids also going with! Fishing and dunes all to look out for. 7 days of pure sand, fishing and fun!
planning a trip down the south coast of WA in december, starting at lake jasper (met graham here last trip), then heading albany, and then trying to do Albany to esperance without touching tar! gonna be epic and not something alot of people do! not super remote but super awesome! the trottle controler would help give the ranger a bit quicker response time on the beach which we all know can make a huge diffrence!
it is remarkable what ''high level of everything'' you give us in your shows -and with very little of disturbing commercial (or maybe Im blind.. :) thanks from Sweden!
Hubby, our 2yo daughter and I are planning our Tassy bucket list trip at the end of the year - 3 weeks in total. It will be our daughters first long trip and we are so keen. Starting on the East Coast then over to the Climes track on the West, down south and back over to Hobart. Then doing Swanston track on the way back up. Can’t wait! We were meant to do this trip 2 years ago and due to a horrible accident in the family we couldn’t. The time has finally come again and we can’t wait!!!!! Been doing the 80 series up slowly getting it ready. This would make the best addition 🎉

I’m going to take a trip around Iceland from east to west I’m going to go to multiple waterfalls and sleep behind them and past lots of geysers and through what you could call mud baths all in my 2010 Nissan pathfinder .
Brilliant absolutely brilliant, love seeing these old trucks out there. Please don’t be too long bringing out the next episode. Love the scenery.
Got the misso and kids (8 and 5) mad into offroading - they're hooked! We're leaving August next year to do the big lap! Can't wait!

Hope that journey makes it in the top5.
In love with that Dmax and how it looks with that tray without the canopy!
These Mates truly deserve international Awards for these videos that NEVER DISAPPOINT!!!!
Me and 2 support workers(ism in wheelchair) are planning a trip from Tassie to the horizontal waterfalls in North West Western Australia next year. Can’t wait

Good to see the whole team. Talk about a magical place. You Aussies have it good there I'd say.
One of the all time cooking scenes!
Top video fellas. A lot of preparation, driving and post production. Thanks & glad you enjoyed the run.
You guys look like you have an awesome time together when you’re out on the tracks.
Beer cans have a plastic liner.. Don't fancy it personally
Kinetic rope would be an awesome addition to your recovery kit, take the big hit out of those dead pulls.
The production levels during that opening scene with the drones and the orchestral music 😘👌
My kids and I love watching your adventures! We are planning on the high country Victoria in January next year
Absolutely loving seeing the old farm rigs tackling the Simpson desert.

Coming up to 20yrs at my current job so time for a change. Making the most of the period in between jobs and planning a massive 2 month family trip along the Savannah Way. Ultimate 9 would make an amazing addition to workhorse!
Brilliant ❤...... simplicity and getting back to basics. Glad your out there giving us inspiration to do more in our 4x4's.
I miss the time when the old trucks were new!
My trip would be head out to New Zealand and have some fun over there I think it would be heaps of fun and a very underrated 4by spot

planning a trip down the south coast of WA in december, starting at lake jasper (met graham here last trip), then heading albany, and then trying to do Albany to esperance without touching tar! gonna be epic and not something alot of people do! not super remote but super awesome! the trottle controler would help give the ranger a bit quicker response time on the beach which we all know can make a huge diffrence!
Awesome work boys. Loving the farm truck. Got a fj45 im doing up myself. But until then got the 79 and the bucket list trip is the csr. Next year 🤞🤞
