So here are some follow details to this video.... once I started going through everything and testing, I found the following: -1 GTA 4 case had GTA 5 inside -1 case had no game at all -they gave me a copy of COD Black Ops 3 for the xbox 360 (I only ordered them for the PS3) -One of the games was PAL instead of NTSC -1 PS3 black ops 2 case had a copy of infinite warfare for the ps4 instead -5 or 6 of the xbox 360 games don't even work -I had to resurface ~90% of the xbox 360 games. Some of them were REALLY bad None of this is unexpected honestly. The GameStop purchasing experience is always poor. I really do think they should be resurfacing games though. They're a huge company, there's no reason for their stores to not have good resurfacing machines (I bought an Elm Eco Pro 2 for $900, and it works great)
@@farmingsim9813 used on ebay a couple years ago. I've also seen Elm themselves sell refurbished units for like $1k (maybe it was for black friday? I can't remember exactly)
I like how you said "let's see if we get ripped off," like there was a chance you wouldn't haha. Don't get me wrong, there are some GREAT deals at GameStop when they have promos, especially if you can find good games on sale in store, but buying online is like russian roulette, except when you play with GameStop, the majority of the rounds are actually loaded!
eb games (GameStop) in New Zealand is a solid place to buy your games (depends on where) most of the time if you buy a game and they don’t have the regular copy they’ll give you a deluxe edition box with all of the accessories which is pretty cool
Thats what you get when buying online. Since there is no way to check the copy you are getting. Meaning they can send you the worst copy or a pristine copy and still charge the same price.
Hey and greetings from Sweden! GameStop is history for us here on the other side of the pond. However back in the day when they were here, the games they sold then was way better than the packages you unbox here. The last game I got from GameStop here was Atelier Lulua for the ps4, and yea that was a good buy. 😊
If you're talking about whatnot, you're just wrong lol. I've sold hundreds of games over the past few months to people who didn't pay a penny for shipping - I paid for shipping. My stream is literally set up for free shipping. The instructions in the description quite literally spell it out step by step.
@@SorryDaSlayeryou’re correct, if you’re buying from someone charging shipping. I have my show set up so that people can go on there and not spend any money at all and use the $15 credit
This video is such a waste of time. Anyone who’s been playing games for years knows how GameStop does their use games cases. All you do is just buy you stuff from GameStop and then end up returning it wasting everyone’s time.
please FOR GODS SAKE STOP BUYING FROM GAMESTOP. we know game stop sucks, we know they sell USED games as 'new', we know they ruin the gases, we know the discs are bad. STOP
Do you resurface wii u games? Gamestop used to, and they would be ruined. I have a copy of new super mario bros u plus luigi u from gamestop. And it was resurfaced. The game always gives disc read error when I select first level of luigi u. That might be why gamestop doesn't resurface anymore.
i feel as if jacob is getting kinda a rip off on these games because most look to me like they are not new games like they were selling them after they were sold to gamestop
i get that but the one ill say is no matter how scrapes or damaged these game discs are they still will work because used a xbox 360 disc that had scrapes that went through to what i know that is in them is a chip and if the scrapes go deep enough to it then it will break or even be damaged to the point of it not working and resurfacing them could do that exact kind of damage to them @@JacobRTWO
Lmao, this guy spent the past year buying from GameStop to resell when he could have just used that money and bought into the crypto and equities market. With the crypto market now picking up and heading towards a bull market with BTC breaking its ATH, the returns I saw especially from my altcoin investments is the equivalent to half of the average Australian salary with a non stop weekly accumulation over a 10-12 month period. People know GameStop is a scam, whinges about it, but still buys from them anyway. 🤣😂🤡

They have the audacity to charge you a fix it fee when you trade in games when they send that garbage. Yikes

Finally the 2nd part is out
Instead of DK Oldies we have now Jacob Oldies
That’s why I only shop in person! 😮
It should be a rule only buy from GameStop in person
Yes it's backwards compatibility Xbox 360 game.
Waste of money. This shows you what not to do unless you own a use game store and get some sort of discount through Gamestop.
for those un aware yes you still have to pay shipping, that part is not factual

That's pretty interesting, a North American game in the u. K. Cause Xbox 360 games are not region free. I think only a couple of them.

Jacob I don’t have a number for whatnot

Why did you buy the multiples of the same games?
