One thing to note is most of Sony’s big box collector’s editions now (both recent GoW games, LoU part 2, & Horizon Forbidden West) have two different versions with different physical items that will affect the value. The GoW Ragnarok CE in the video is the “regular” one & not the Jotnar Edition. Also the Horizon Forbidden West & GoW Ragnarok collector’s editions (both versions each) came with download codes for the game, no disk, even though there are Steelbook cases included.
@@Grimlydemise I imagine this will become a bigger issue in the future as there are significant physical item differences with the different versions other than the original GoW 2018 special CE (forgot it's subname.)

There was a Steelbook version of the FF 12 remaster without the statue, etc. as the first print run, but I imagine it’s almost as hard to find now as the actual CE.
Damn dude you got played and thought it was a deal LOL I bet that dudes extremely happy. Nobody else would have bought that much at once, to each their own.
It's sad that we have to think this way, but I couldn't help but notice how much of a sitting duck situation they put themselves in by putting everything on the ground like that. If someone noticed a deal going down and pulled up to rob them and they had to drive away quickly they would leave a lot of stuff behind. I suggest leaving most of it in the car and just moving it around while inspecting, or transferring from car to car as you go. Might seem a bit paranoid but crime can happen anywhere and anytime.
Highly recommend playing Omori. If you like Undertale, it's perfect for you as it has the same style of music (hell, Toby Fox made a song for the game or is at least featured), mechanics, and storytelling that its worth it. Only thing is, the game's best played with a box of tissues to wipe your sorrows away
Ragnarok is your first God of War game? That's like opening a new book and then you start reading halfway. Or walking into a movie an hour into it. The previous God of War is a reboot and Ragnarok is a direct sequel to that. While you don't need to play the old PS2/3 games per se, you shouldn't have skipped GoW 2018. It even got a PS5 patch. Although all the GoW games are worth playing.
Why have the whole collection without opening them? I mean are these just doubles? Like did he buy two of each of these and he is keeping the open ones?
If you’re selling somebody a collectors edition , why would you take the steal book out? That devalues the entire thing by half? Lol might as well just not sell it at all.
Road 96 is definitely worth a playythrough good story which I feel it doesn't get enough attention also root letter was amazing such a good story and interesting twist

It is a concept that may likely die once the computers take over and they harvest my organs for electrons or heat or whatever. Till then we like touching stuff.
Collecting is a sickness like any drug but there are many reasons to own physical. You actually own them for one. For two, you can display them and look at them when you pass the shelf, remembering the adventures you lived from memory, you can save space on your storage since digital content eats up storage more, and you can sell the games if necissary. I sold my Nintendo & a bunch of games and was able to purchase a PS5 Ragnorak bundle, a 2 TB SSD, A PSVR helmet & so far, 17 games, and I still have some switch stuff I'm not done yet. If Judgment was in that collection, try it, although the PS5 version has all the DLC. But the DLC full set on PS4 is down to $10 now. Lost Judgment is the sequel, but I would play the original first. The Legend of Heroes series in the “throw in” box is actually very valuable, especially the first 2 games of the 4-game series, but you’re not a JRPG guy.
Based off the numbers you mentioned at the end of the video, you believe the lot is worth around $12K after fees and all that. It seems like the guy selling the lot is getting the better end of the deal here. He gets $8k (not sure how much of that is profit) and gets rid of all that inventory in one go while you have to work your ass off to list, sell, and ship those items to maybe come out $4K on top. It seems like a ton of work with not such a great return. You could probably shave off another 10%-25% from your offers and you'll still get the deal, especially when it comes to big lots since you're going to be the one doing all the leg work.
