The 1st used game and he doesnt look at the actual disc for condition? Then complain that it was listed as like new, but only looking over the box. Like new refers to the disc. You dont play the box it comes in.
PS4 game discs are incredibly durable, unless it is cracked it will almost always work. Plus his a collector & the case is what is most important to collectors.
I love those content. I always make sure to watch the ads to help you out, not sure how much it offsets it but I figured if quite a few do the same it'll help you out. Every little helps right? Man some of those cases we're heavily damaged and labelled as "used- like new". Certainly an eye opener when purchasing used goods, Amazon or not xD
Getting anything from the Amazon Warehouse is a bad idea. Last one I ordered was a book, but upon arrival it looked like the book was run over by a forklift, and listed as "like new".
Reading seller conversations on the amazon condition guidelines is extremely frustrating. A huge chunk of sellers argue that their games work fine, so they shouldn’t be buried in the “Acceptable” category where they won’t sell. If you’re not selling old ass cartridges, everything has to be there for the game to be complete in box w/manual and art, aka good. It makes sorting useless, and it makes buying used games without seller pictures and condition notes a huge gamble.
I was recently looking it up and they since the final update the game has been vastly improved and is a definite play they said it's a little slow in the beginning but picks up steam as the story progresses.

I’m all for not having manuals anymore. Yeah it was cool and all, but nowadays it’s kind of pointless. The only information you might want is the controls, and a lot of publishers put the controls on the other side of the box art. Plus, this saves paper. Instead of printing out a 20 page manual for millions of copies of games that the vast majority of people won’t even open, they just don’t do it. Plus plus, it makes those memories that much better because we don’t experience it anymore.
I remember last year when I bought Gravity rush ps4 edition from Amazon it was used and it was the European version and it was compatible with my ps4 and its really hard to get physical.
Yeah target legit just like didn't have it at launch and i was very annoyed and after a few days I just got it on PSN. But I had a $100 target gift card at the time so it sucked
I thought it was a joke at first when you opened the Driveclub package and started complaining about the dust. Then you put the box down and I thought "oh ok, I guess he'll leave the disc examinations and playtesting for later". But no, it never came. Don't really know what to say, mate... I don't think you really understand the principle behind reselling games.
PS4 discs are incredibly durable, unless it's cracked it will almost always work. Plus his a collector & cases are an important part of it, the discs rarely need checking on Blu-ray format, it's only older games where it matters most
10:47 neat how it said it includes the manual and you didn't even notice. Unless the "manual" is that shit you can see through the case. Same with the one right after it too, no manual.

Sometimes, they rewrap games, here in Ireland, Poundland sells sealed Blu-Rays & DVDs, they look new but they are branded Replay, which means they are second hand or refurbished but they are resealed. js
I purchase way more games than I'll ever be able to play and most games just get put into my collection right after I take them out of the package and probably won't get played, most people will probably consider it a waste of money but collecting games is actually more fun than playing them but that just might be because I don't have much time to play them but I still very much want them.
Love your “ this is what I got” videos. For your used games, mind showing the disc itself to see if there are any scratches? Since it does go into like good to like new definition. Keep up the good work.
If you get that nasty adhesive residue on your disk, simply use Nevr-Dull which comes as cotton swabs drenched with some kind of oil that helps to release sticky and label residue. You can easily get it at any retailer and it lasts for years.

video like this is very attractive. Keep doing more unboxing videos man
Hey Ryan, where do you buy replacement cases? I have a dozen or so PS4 games I want to replace the cases I have for new ones. Also, I’m the same way about cases, box art, and NO PS hits! Thanks!
He buys them from amazon check his amazon store in the description of the video and then click on gaming accessories
Make sure you buy DuBois cases.
They are the legit licensed ones, the rest are flimsy garbage.
Thanks guys. I didn’t realize Ryan had all that info in the vid description. I had seen those DuBois ones but I thought they were kinda expensive just for cases. I guess if you want the best quality you have to pay for it. Thanks again for the help.
dr NDRFNZ just buy a cheap sports game and switch the case.
Love these types of videos you do. We don’t get those mystery packages in the UK so interesting to watch and find the surprise gems.
Really appreciate it: "I'm all for lowering our need for plastics". It's great to be concern.
Vinnie P.B. Then buy digital...
@@Moped_Mike I've been doing this for several years, already.
Dude you forgot to check the disc quality of each game, that is one of the most important things to me when buying used. You can replace a cracked case but if that disc is jacked up you have to return it which sucks.
It's Blu-ray, very rarely do they not work unless they're cracked, no need to really check them
Blu Ray is really hard to scratch more than likely those discs all look brand new
You’re right, eBay is the prime source for great deals on video games. By the way, I got Anthem from Gamestop for only $5, brand new. 😎
So did I.
Doesn’t eBay scam people ?
@@biskethead7584 No, there’s a sense of protection due to eBay’s favorable buyers’ rights.
Alright my bad for the late response thanks you
I’m pretty sure a big part of the reasoning of the like new listing is the quality of the disc
If its sealed doesnt mean its new, you can easily reseal it
Yep that's what happened to me i called the third party seller out on it
How can u tell if a game has been resealed?
This is why I don't buy used games off Amazon, most the games I got off there were in horrible condition & not as described.
Days Gone is 2019 GOTY without any room for doubt.
Oz Osgood are you forgetting about SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 2 BABY
@@Diphenhydra damn I forgot about that game, you're right
Days gone is too long and the game mechanics make it hard to accomplish anything early in the game
Days gone will not win game of the year
Lol sekiro got GOTY
your used game unboxings are so much fun keep them coming
1:20 drive club still has the best rain of any racing game 👌
It also has more things locked behind a little shopping trolly than any game I have ever seen. I felt like I had bought a demo.
Eclectic Jon 101 yea I really don’t care lol I have no idea why you even wrote this 🤷♂️
It's called "interaction".
It's a bit like having a conversation in the real world.
What a strange thing to have to explain.
Eclectic Jon 101 idc boomer
@@mannyduran8458 because you are a child who doesn't have the maturity to care. And if you're going to call someone a boomer you should know what it means first.
Been ordering ps4 games from Amazon since lockdown first started got a good collection build up only one game i was really looking forward to that I can't play is guilty gear xrd 2 keeps saying Everytime it's starts i need to have the original game first about to add grandblue fantasy versus to my collection 😊
That's exactly why stick to Ebay.. most of the time has actual pics of products.
That is the reason why I don't buying used anything from Amazon if I can avoid it. From what I understand sellers aren't actually required to show there own pics of what they are selling.
@@realtime8892 especially a god damn phone lol, I see reviews saying "this isnt even an iPhone, wrong operating system". That's why when youtubers put links to amazon I dont even bother, I'll rather get them at a trusted website or ebay and risk it there instead.
I'm an Amazon buyer. I trust them more than Ebay because I never had a negative buying experience and I buy on Amazon all my electronics and books. My one experience from Ebay was horrible. I bought a used PS4 with games and the PS4 didn't even work! I got my money back and bought a PS4 on Amazon and it still works today.
@@realtime8892 Unsure but one time a seller actually showed one of their items on Amazon. When I asked what condition of the ps vita is the seller actually showed it to me which it looked in great condition.
3:18 I noticed right when you opened it...dont feel bad I havent played days gone either
Blu Ray is really hard to scratch more then likely all those discs look brand new
I love those content.
Best playstation channel 💯
Dude I swear I love when my cases are in great condition I’m always collecting
Days gone is just one of those games everyone should play.
I was recently looking it up and they since the final update the game has been vastly improved and is a definite play they said it's a little slow in the beginning but picks up steam as the story progresses.
@@lucky1up856 great story mate. You should buy it. Got platinum
@@Infected. how's the platinum? any bs "play on every difficulty" trophies in there?
@@JoshMarshain no mate not at all pretty straight forward. There's a couple of collect certain things but you don't have to get them all and you tend. To naturally get them as you do story!
Sometimes the sellers do show a picture of the game in used section, just not very often. Have to look for them in the used sections.
The Driveclub disc is going to have some value in the future (I guess). Since the game got delisted from PSN last year and the disc is the only way to acquire it since then. I don't know
Maybe. It isn't outside the realm of possibility. Personally, I actually forgot the game even existed. If I ever come by a copy I will try to remember to pick it up.
Essentially you would only buy the game if its 'valuable'??
What gets me is that he says he wants to use less plastic but yet all his games are in plastic cases haha 🤣
I got cracked shit when I selected new, twice actually, so I got some replacement cases for next time 😅
Mystic you should make a video where you buy PS4 or ps3 games from wish and see how that goes LIKE SO HE CAN SEE
Trust me 2019 most underrated game Days gone, it's surprisingly soo good.
Agreed
Ismail Raza I couldn’t really get in to it , I did a few missions then I just went off of it why I don’t know but I think I definitely give it another go
I am still waiting for an up to date version of “Ridge Racer” for the PS5.
Smh remember when games1 actually came with a lite booklet guide now all we can look forward to is box art ....and games are much more expensive yet they continue to find ways to give us less! 😑
They do. Theses are used remember lol
The circular scratch on WW2 it's from when it's resurfaced that's where the clamp goes
Gotta play Days Gone man! The gameplay and characters are awesome
No manual inside Hello Neighbour game even after you read the amazon listing hahaaah xd
I remember last year when I bought Gravity rush ps4 edition from Amazon it was used and it was the European version and it was compatible with my ps4 and its really hard to get physical.
You find tons of them in Europe
Yeah target legit just like didn't have it at launch and i was very annoyed and after a few days I just got it on PSN. But I had a $100 target gift card at the time so it sucked
Your amazon descriptions are better than any I've gotten off ebay. Lol
Days Gone is pretty decent game. It’s not my type of game though so I didn’t necessarily LOVE it.
Videos like this are prob my favorite tbh
Hes just as bored of the rest of us, really good games have dried up, there hasnt been any decent releases for months to get our teeth into and now we're scraping the barrel.
At least in the coming months we've some great games coming out
That poor condition MediEvil hurts my inner childhood soul
Who taught this guy how to use a box cutter? Makes me nervous
Can you please do a video on how to tell if something is in good condition on Amazon and if it's new or used? I would really appreciate it.
"Obnoxiously overpackaged game." Has to make one cut(First World problems). Same guy if it got damaged..."I can't believe they didn't ship it in a box!" 🤣
Sometimes, they rewrap games, here in Ireland, Poundland sells sealed Blu-Rays & DVDs, they look new but they are branded Replay, which means they are second hand or refurbished but they are resealed. js
ok you just went down in my ratings and i sub to your patrion lol - play days gone ASAP lol
Alan Morton too long
These are my favorite type of videos
There's no way you play every game you buy lol. There's just not enough hours in the day.
Jay Schneider then isn’t it a good thing there’s tomorrow too
Some of the games he buys are just for his collection I suppose
I purchase way more games than I'll ever be able to play and most games just get put into my collection right after I take them out of the package and probably won't get played, most people will probably consider it a waste of money but collecting games is actually more fun than playing them but that just might be because I don't have much time to play them but I still very much want them.
Covid-19 "Hold my Beer"
Love your “ this is what I got” videos. For your used games, mind showing the disc itself to see if there are any scratches? Since it does go into like good to like new definition. Keep up the good work.
"I have never seen one that big before" : That's what she said
If you get that nasty adhesive residue on your disk, simply use Nevr-Dull which comes as cotton swabs drenched with some kind of oil that helps to release sticky and label residue. You can easily get it at any retailer and it lasts for years.
