When I started playing, hibiki was going great and fun and after I unlocked hakumen (Though he's slow he hits hard) managed to get my highest score of my runs, as a guy who wants to play male characters only, the next unlock for me was ragna and ragna felt not that good to play with because of that health mechanic and left me with 2 choices Hibiki or Hakumen, continued with Hibiki because it suited my playstyle and it was actually a fun experience, hopefully the full release gives us more options on characters etc. looking forward to play this game again!
Yeah, I've still been playing this here and there. Sadly there's isn't a ton to do once you clear the game a few times and finish all the side stuff. I'm the opposite of you, I usually stick to playing the Waifus. I do hope they add a more characters and definitely more biomes on the full release.
Ragna is very powerful once you get comfortable with with constant health loss, try to get his blood kain set up. My highest score is with him followed by Hakumen and Hibiki. Mai is also a lot of fun but very dependent on her potential synergies. Kokonoe is stupidly OP.
Ragna is definitely strong. But I didn't like always having to keep an eye on my health and making sure I'm not getting myself killed. Hakumen was nice and strong, but I didn't like his speed. I didn't really like kokonoes playstyle since it just felt clunky and I kept getting animation locked since I'm trash.
Very cool video. Dont know if ill check the game out since i am not really a fighting game guy but the video was good and i am looking forward to more from you!
I think for the people who don't know about the BlazBlue fighting game, it would still be very enjoyable as purely a roguelite. There will be more to come man. Thanks a lot.
yeah this is not what im looking for, i wanna play a roguelike fighting game that plays like tekken or mortal kombat, where u start fresh with a character without much skill, and if u win a fight u choose from different fighting moves. but i f u get damage u keep those trough the fights, so if u break your arm u cant use it anymore for the entire run.
Heya, subscriber #43, I'm totally on board for your show. I've been playing a buncha roguelikes this year as well. One that I've played that you seem to have'nt yet is SYNTHETIK. I greatly enjoyed it, and it helped strengthen my friendship with my mate who I played it with. Joe's roguelikes of 2023 1. Hades 2. SYNTHETIK 3. FTL 4. Slay the Spire 5. Crypt of the Necrodancer 6. Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate. Are there any others you would like me to play, as well?
Thanks for the Sub man! If you're into Deck Builders I would definitely give Wildfrost a shot. I was actually thinking of giving FTL a shot at some point.
If you liked the story aspect of Hades id recommend Going Under, it's a bit of a slower action roguelike where your weapons break really fast and you have to pick new ones up from the room, kinda like BOTW or TOTK, as I said it does have a story aspect and the characters are pretty good.

Another great video, I wish I was half the editor. Impressive as always
Just gotta keep working on it man. This may be a new channel, but it's not my first time editing, haha.
yet another great video, can't wait for ur next one
Thanks man. In time, I'm working on it.
If DMC became a rogue-like, it's still DMC but in 2D~
Interesting Comparison. I've only played a snippet of DMC1... That's it.

Blood Kain+Soul Devourer+Demons Wave (maybe with Black Onslaught too) and you can basically go ham

I wanted to reccomend neon echo but i saw you use footage from the game so i’m gussing you know about it already
Yeah, I played it very soon after it went to Early Access. Blazblue has better waifus.
Keep it up
I will try.

@@xonirix Stories are really hit or miss for me. Either I love it or it's just annoying to me... Haha.
