X and y works fine but i have issue with the z axis its not going up or down even when i do M03 S80 im using cnc3018 just put a pen in the spindle and unplugged it
Hello , what version of GRBL did you use , my servo motor does not work !!
m03 s80 command does move my tower pro servo to the end but M05 S10 just cutts energy off,it doesnt turn the servo back, I am using arduino nano

HI, I had a small question, we are going to make this robot as a group of university students, I have to make the code for the micro controller, my question is that how can I convert the G-code, that is produced by INKSCAPE and transferred by G-Code sender to microcontroller, to orders for my stepper motors? Is there any resources that can help me to write the code ?

But have a problem with M5 S0, do you know where to remove s0 in the code? rather than having to do it manually
Do not remove M5S0 as it says spindle off /speed 0, In this case you are using the M3/M5 gcode to move the pen you are drawing with or if you are using a laser you are telling the laser to turn on or off,Now if you are not using a pen or a laser and want a standard 3 axis device using all stepper motors than go to settings by typing %% in the command line of ugs and find the line which says laser mode and change it from a 1 to a 0 . now you are in 3 axis mode.
You have to enter " (M03 S80,For pen up.)( M05 S10 for pen down)

In the universal gcode platform software,the image i have inserted is showing 2000*3000(l*b)(mm).. so machine is making noise and being stuck.. the maximum length the axis can travel is 200mm..how to adjust the length..pls help

Go to firmware settings in universal g code center and chsnge the values but you need to buy and add limit switch in order to work
I built a plotter but when I send gcode to the machine it draws it at a 45 degree angle. Any ideas on the issue or troubleshooting would be appreciated.
