It's Gorgeous! Your Daughter is Beautiful like Her Mother 💜 and the Boys are Handsome like Their Father 💙. It's so awesome once the Kids get old enough to truly enjoy adventures like this. Well at least that was my experience... My Daughter is now 36 and my Son is now 24. Very Cool Get Away. At first I was thinking "oh they should have taken the Yellow Bus Van" but then I saw the ROADS and I'm like "So glad they didn't take it"!!!! North America has got to be the most beautiful continent in the world. So many beautiful sights of nature mostly undisturbed. A few years ago I visited Yellowstone and the Tetons they are such beautiful national parks. Saw the Rocky mountains probably 12 years ago really pretty place same with the Smoky mountains and The Appalachians. One of these days I have to head up north to Canada and see the beautiful sights up there.
Meanwhile in Norway...... I know it ain't a continent, it's just the most beautiful country in the world, AND you can find a scenery you don't have to share with 1000 other people.
I could imagine the force of the water and the mists and the sounds and the feel of the Earth under your feet gave an exhilarating feeling I can imagine the smell of the mist and the feel of it surrounding and gentleness of it's essance touching the skin. ya and don't forget to bring water.. Thank you for the wonderful amazing adventure. I love my You tube family.
Lovely. I love that view so much. That river is really moving fast! The canyon is so colorful. You go Melissa! Nature at its best. Don’t fall in. Then you have to climb back up after the hike down. Talk about a raging river! It has carved that canyon over thousands of years.
Took my dog, Francine a rough collie - Lassie, Dog for a walk around Maligne Lake. As we got back to the parking lot a Japanese lady waved at an older couple with a couple I assume grandchildren and asked if her group could pet Lassie. Said OK and then I was distracted keeping Francine from standing on her back legs so she could get hugs. When I looked up I realized there were two tour buses and a long line. Kind of weird becoming an attraction but didn't want to fail the Canadian Tourism Industry.
Your story reminds me of when I was a kid and our family took a road trip from San Diego to the Oregon/Washintgon border. At Multnomah Falls, a Japanese tourist approached us and asked if she could take a picture of "a typical American family." We got so tickled by this because as a very conservatively dressed family with three girls we didn't view ourselves as a typical American family. But the tourist was so sweet and we couldn't deny her request. From that moment on, we'd jokingly say the phrase, "Typical American Family," in a Japaneese accent whenever we traveled together. Great core memories. (My mother passed away when I was 16.) Also, I absolutely love how the Asian culture seem to place such high value on traveling the world. You almost can't go to any beautiful tourist location in North American and not see some tourist busses full of Asians.
It’s beautiful country to explore! Vermont is also very picturesque, where I live - lakes, forest, mountains. No snow in the summer though. Gorgeous there as well. We have lots of dirt roads here still. Enjoy your trip in your lovely are .❤️👍

Such beautiful vistas. The torrent of the water crashing through the canyon was frightfully mesmerizing. Be mindful of chance encounters with large wildlife as you enjoy the wilderness with your family and have a great time.
Love this spot. A few years ago I also did the hike along the bottom of the canyon in winter. We wore crapons and went into that hollow spot which had a wall of ice in the front so it was an ice cave. Stunning.

I've lived all over Alberta, from Foothills to the Prairies. Now live in the Lesser Slave Lake area (named after Slavie Natives). I love the Lake but really miss the mountains.. Glad to see your family out on local adventures..
