Clearly Velomobiles are just like women. The most important thing is to choose one with a comfortable entrance hole, that fits nicely without bending down too much, & avoid any that are too small. Big thumbs up from me too.

This week I was riding in headwind little bit from the side and felt the wind slowing down rhe bike a lot.. Wished I had not taking the open wheels... My shoulder are just 47cm,maybe a sign to go for the snoek... I now drive a mango. Greetings pascal...

Hey, Jan! Really nice video! I would suggest another about aerodynamics and the use case for different velomobile models! Like how the Milan is designed more with windy environments in mind while the Alpha 7 is easier to maneuver on hilly roads.

Very nice and useful video... I've been watching and comparing products for years and have always had the complaint that they all show how it rides... but not how you get in and out. This was a great comparison, looking forward to seeing more like it in the future.

It would be possible to use a door, which is moved vertically in rails and fastened , so that the velomobile keeps its stiffness.
But a door would be very helpful. Another concern is the safety, because a velomobile is often used on roads and with all the crazy car drivers, there is a high probability, that one gets involved in a traffic accident. The impact energy must get absorbed.
Well if you build a velomobile like that you need an extra engine to push it forward

For another subject maybe you could compare the width of different velomobiles, especially at the driver's shoulder level. Everyone talks about how tall you can be to ride a velomobile, but no-one mentions how wide your shoulders can be to ride comfortably.
It is very hard to tell in exact matter. It depend very much you position in the velomobile. But I will think about it
I'm 190cm tall (age 62), with long legs, and I fit in and get out from DFXL manhole quite easily. So, if someone is considering Alpha 7 or DF as a velomobile, then age or being tall should not be an obstacle. But if someone has wide shoulders, then Alpha 7 might be better choice. DF is one of the most narrow velomobiles.

For the Snoek: I think with my 1.83m and 67kg I am too tall I'm afraid.
I am 182 and 78 kg and I am a bit width in the shoulders

We did one Snoek until now. We build the second for review at velomobiel.nl. in about 6 weeks we will build 1.5 snoek a week. You can estimate the delivery time. We did not receive yet all the orders from Snoek from Velomobiel.nl yet. After we received you can follow on there website and on our website the approximately delivery time

Depends a lot on your posture, but in general I would say 195 cm would fit.
What about DFXL?
Because the Alpha 7 and the DF/DFXL have almost similar entrance holes I did not film it

Alpha and DF have almost the same entrance hole, that's why i took the alpha
