      It has been decades, until a cheaper way to manufacture them comes along and reduces the price they may stay a niche product. I ordered one, recently, but only because I don't want to drive to work and I want to ride also when it gets cold or is raining. I am optimistic that it will be a great commuter (I only have 5km one way) and to do runs to the store even when it is raining. Also I would really like to do longer tours around Germany and Europe.

    Hi, I really like your design. Seams to be a really cool ligtweight velomobil.
    Only one concern looking at your videos: working with some kinds of resin without respiratory protecktion can be really dangerous and harmfull. I assume ist is some kind of Epoxid Resin? I know a painter who did al lot of idustrial floor jobs with Epoxi resin based paint. He is now suffering from severe lung damaging and is going to die because of this progressing scaring of his lung. Asphyxiation slowy processing over years. No fun! PLEASE PROTECT YOUR WORKERS!

      Epoxy resin is heavier as air and we have very strong heat recovery ventilation system

      @Pieter Jan Zijlstra I don't know how long the female workers actually work with resin. Might be every day the whole day long... When my son did build his longboard deck I gave him my respiratory protection gear for paintjobs while he was handling the epoxi... better save than sorry...

      @Pieter Jan Zijlstra there are solution without the böse squeesing mask: A -sort of- helmet with vision shield, suplied with compressed air which is filtered through activated carbon with a small passive 'heating' element

      @Pieter Jan Zijlstra yeah, just worked with stuff zhat contains isocyanates: expanding foam and last week some PUR paint... i allway wear my mask with filter in the shop
      I remeber a carpenter who did al lot of fair construction jobs, he used to smoke while spray painting PUR paint without a mask...
      but back to topic: lets dream about a velomobile and riding at 60 km/h... ;-)

      We produce the the velomobile from Velomobiel.nl, intercitybike and we have our own models Alpha and Milan SL/GT

    It is obvious that the process is a labor of love... what is the common language of your team? Do you allow factory tours?

    Really surprised at the lay-up process - I'd assumed you'd use vacuum infusion rather than wet lay-up with vacuum consolidation!

      Vacuem infusion you get an heavier laminate from, more work and more garbage. Also it dont work that well with 3 layers of carbon.
