    I love so much your velomobiles! this Snoek is such a great addition! Congratulations to deliver cycling happyness with all your wonderful work! I wish I can also create a velomobile for my wife! this is so romantic!

    Yes! Velomobile companies are really getting on top of the marketing & social media game now. And although I'm waaay too tall, the Snoek is an awesome bike! Hope this will cause a lot of work for you in the next few years :-)

    A dream collection. The Snoek looks good, but I wonder if we had visibility in the mirror. I also have the impression that the snoek is mainly intended for racing

    It will be interesting to see the velos can opted to use Pinion Gearbox with Gates belt system. With this gearbox and belts, the 4 wheels QV may have 4WD to conquer the snowy roads.

    Especially as the cockpit is so tight,( in the rear of the cockpit )that only a slim shouldered person can ride comfortably..as noted in John Williams video..

    I have 2 question :
    - If ordering, is it possible to get larger windows on race hood?
    - For home to work daily travel (90km/d) is a motor addition possible ?

      Dear D Bo, thank you for your interest in the Snoek and nice words!
      All carbon products are hand laminated in moulds, these moulds are also hand made. This process takes many many hours. So we can not satisfy every customer with personal wishes. I am sorry for that but we can not make larger windows in the race hood for you.
      Your other question is about adding a motor to the Snoek. We let a specialized company install motors in some of our other velomobiles. But Snoek is different. It is so narrow that you can not accommodate the motor with its large Q-factor inside the Snoek. It would simply not be possible to pedal with a motor in the Snoek.

    Can you give us a video of the internal steering assembly and how it steers? I am curious how it handles over 45 mph. If it gets twitchy or not? I'd like to see the interior a bit more.

    I hope the one velo dealer in the United States gets one of these soon, I would like to know if I can fit in it. I meet the height requirement by 7 cm, but I have wide shoulders for my size. I ride a DFxl instead of a DF because the latter is tight for my shoulders. I would order a Snoek in an instant if it fit. Looking at the video, my guess is it would be too tight for me but I would like to verify that.

    QuattroSnoek? I would love the Quattrovelo, but have the feeling it is too big for me. I am 171cm tall (used to be more 😉) and I love the 4 wheel design, but the size and weight makes me want to put e-assist in it

    De quest heeft de neiging om te rollen in een scherpe bocht. Is de bocht stabiliteit beter met de snoek? Meer camber op de wielen?

      Met elke velomobiel kun je om gaan in een bocht.
      De belangrijkste factoren zijn: hoogte van het zwaartepunt, spoorbreedte en aantal wielen/kantel lijn (lijn tussen het raakvlak op de weg van de voorband en achterband). Als de velo en daarmee de spoorbreedte smaller wordt moet je voor dezelfde stabiliteit het zwaartepunt omlaag brengen, lager gaan zitten met minder bodemvrijheid.
      Negative camber (ofwel negatieve wielvlucht) kun je gebruiken om de spoorbreedte groter te maken zonder de body breder te maken, bij de snoek is iets meer negatieve wielvlucht gebruikt dan bij de Quest.
      Het grootste verschil is echter het gebruik van twee kettingrollen waardoor de stoel en bodem van de velo omlaag konden en dus ook het zwaartepunt omlaag kon.
      Daardoor kan de Snoek sneller door de bocht dan de Quest, de spoorbreedte verschilt maar weinig: Snoek 60cm Quest 62cm.
      Voor wedstrijdgebruik kun je beide overigens lager op de wielen zetten met de daarbij horende nadelen als eerder aan de grond komen en kortere veerwegen.
      Eva is 1.65m lang, toen ze in een Quest reed moest de stoel ongeveer 8 cm boven de bodem gemonteerd worden, het zwaartepunt gaat dan ook omhoog met als gevolg duidelijk verminderde bocht stabiliteit. Met de Quest XS was dat al duidelijk beter. Kortom het is belangrijk dat de velo bij jouw lichaamslengte past. (door Allert)

    Love the tighter more aero design. Only comment in aero is the hood.
    Will there be a more sloped visor up front like the Milan race hood?

      Hello Mr. Cantori, we are not going to equip the Snoek hood with more sloped visor and the reasons are:
      - the one from Milan is made probably from polycarbonate, we use this for child windows of Quattrovelo too, this material you can bent as you wish, but it is not as clear and scratch-resistant as motorbike helm visors!
      - if the visor is in more flat angle you get more water drops in your view; more drops = less view (definitely in dark and with light from cars)
      - the milan visor vibrates very much, that is also not handy for the visibility
      - and the motorcycle helm visors are Pinlock ready
      You can conclude that the safety issues are for us more important than little bit of streamline advantage.

    How well does that hood keep the rain out, maybe I cannot see well in the video but looks like the leading edge of the hood is higher than the body has me thinking water will come in? I live in Singapore and we get some pretty biblical downpours here. The other issue would be the humidity, do you hav any customers who have used these in tropical climates?

      Hello J. Lee, we do not have experience from tropical climate users. Althouw we get sometimes a bit of tropical weather conditions in The Netherlands. I would not be scared for the shape of the hood in heavy rain. The problem usualy is in humidity inside. We recomend to apply "Pinlock" foil on the motor visor in our hoods to avoid foggy visor. But I do not know how it can be over 2-3 cycling in heavy rain and high temperatures...

    Do you know anyone with broad shoulders that has tried it and when their shoulder width was? Do you have any recommendations on maximum shoulder width? This velomobile looks very nice.

      Hello C.Anderson, this is very difficult question, we can not answer... if you have “long neck” you come with your shoulders lower in the velomobile where more space is for wide shoulders. With “short neck” - vice versa. And each cyclist is different. So I can not say with which maximal width of shoulders you can fit there. Test ride says more.

      In Sven's review of the Snoek on the velomobile nord channel, he said that maximum shoulder width would be 47cm
