- It's been a while since the 3 returned to a main LP of a Mario Party game... This time they take a detour from the numbered entries to a handheld version of the wacky board games. Who will come out on top of the handheld parties?

That game of Short Fuse is like the first time i’ve heard Emile sound genuinely angry at Jon…over a game that had no bearing on anything over something that wasn’t Jon’s fault 😂
Even though Jon had nothing to do with Emile's loss, I still like to think of it as payback for that one snowball mini-game in Mario Party 3

Jon’s Descent into Madness, Bonus Story: even after all the crap Mario Party DS has given Jon, it suddenly starts to take pity on him, though Jon is too salty to forgive the game.
Waluigi wins by being forced to do absolutely nothing!
That’s a pretty good contender for the top ten list

39:04 After an entire Mario Party of the game crapping on Jon and showering goodness onto Emile, this moment felt really satisfying (even though it wasn't Jon's doing at all, since you can see on the top-right screen that there was no mic input at that time)

Thing is, the fuse does go down on it's own. Jon's voice didn't register on screen, so the game itself just blew up Chugga.
I would LOVE to see Short Fuse animated.
Complete with them dressed as their characters and a mindless AI in the background.

And with that, the guys' fun-sized adventure comes to an end. I'm still a bit sad that they never showed off the remaining puzzle games as well as Desert Duel and Pen Pals, but that won't stop me from enjoying whatever the top 10 moments will be.
Minigames in Mario Party DS: so many modes, so little time. Thank you Andrew/Amber for making this LP possible and for gifting your copy of this fun game to TRG so they could play all of the games right off the bat.
Here we are at the last episode of the Mario Party DS arc for GuyTales. Woo-oo!
It's the OVA episode, Minigame Mode, where Proton Don gets to show off his stellar minigame skills, thus proving that he could have won this game if not for the board misfortune shenanigans. He conquered the ladder in Step It Up, he went the distance in Score Scuffle, and he reached for the stars in Rocket Rascals! He even beat up Dry Bones and got some small vindication as he watched Chuggstone get blown up in Short Fuse! (It only looked like Don's yell caused the bomb to go off, but the coincidence was still hilarious.)
Meanwhile, Timethry fought his way to a victory in the Battle Cup, drummed up a win against Hammer Bro, and fought the King of the Koopas. Bowser beat the joyful dino once, but the green goober emerged victorious (Cojiro!) in the rematch!
As for Chuggstone, his luck during the boards didn't quite carry over to this OVA, as he came short of a victory on every minigame mode, and was even shut out of the Battle Cup. Then he took a beating from Piranha Plant, but managed to *ink* out a win against Kamek. A bit flustered by this development, but still grateful for his board wins, he wrapped up this episode with a puzzle game.
Thus concludes another exciting adventure for the McDuck cousins. What crazy shenanigans await them next? Find out next time on... GuyTales. Woo-oo!

I’m a little surprised they didn’t do Single Player like other LP’s, OR TRIANGLE TWISTERS!!! That mode was awesome!!
Unlike 6 and 7, the single player here is pretty the same as the game with the board bosses. So it would be redundant.
We need an Amber tribute at the end of this. The real question is how?
Well by putting it at the beginning as a reminder and honor for how Amber helped us. Otherwise this LP wouldn’t be possible in the first place

I think I was second, but we have mostly identical comments.
I learned today that I've been playing that ball game wrong. I always swiped up on the screen, and thought it strange they were pushing the ball with the stylus. I decided to try it out for myself. I dusted off my copy of MPDS, fired up the game, and within three tries had cut my record of 20.30 to 16.75.
Again, the logic of Chugga’s Parents: visiting a drug dealer’s house with Dad is okay, but Power Rangers is too violent.

The guys small adventure has come to an end. Tons of stars collected, lots of coins gained and loss, lots of minigames played, and lots of rage. Will the guys go on a road trip in the future? Who knows but we will join them if it ever happens.
Just finishing this video a few days late, and I’m actually finishing it on the day I got baptized! I won’t go into too much detail cause I know not everyone believes in it, but it’s been a great day, both because of that and this video! God bless TRG for their wholesome content, they are such wonderful people!🥰❤️
