This series was such a pleasant surprise cuz while I was looking forward to 9 & 10 (mostly cuz of how much they would rag on those games) this being next made me happier

Ha ha ha, such a nice way to ease back into Mario Party games, this time with added Player 4 fun. And such a happy return for Josh Jepson, the original Player 4, on a loved board from the original Mario Party.

Still curious about the focus of the game: minigames from all eras of console Mario Party, but only N64 boards? I figured it'd be easier to do all N64 minigames, then a sequel will be for gamecube + 8 with gc and 8's minigames

I really don't like any of the mario parties past 8. The boards feel smaller, not in number of spaces, but in scale, especially compared to the character models and dice. There used to be so much more impact on every character action, but now everything looks and sounds... plastic. It just feels wrong.
