8:22 Dougs face but what I was going to say is the Huracan had the 610 to the aventador LP700. SV to Perf to about 100. It seems normal that the Temerario has 900 if the Rev has 1000.
The public utility providing electricity to the city of New York, ConEd, was originally called Consolidated Edison. Yes, Thomas Edison. So the electrification company he started in the 1800s still bears his name and is still providing electricity to NYC. My favorite is the candy firm, now multi-national corporate industry Mars Co, maker of Snickers and Milky Way bars, as well as M&Ms; the two "M"s were Frank & Forest Mars, father and son. It is still owned by the Mars family of candy fame. Just a little family candy company with *45 billion dollars* in 2022 sales.
On the Temerario: I absolutely agree with Kennan - the car is definitely not striking enough, looks way too calm. Plus: the interior looks too similar to the Revuelto, the doors don't go up, which is a shame and the rear view almost looks like a Ferrari 296 GTB's rear end, so not all that good... 12:53 - SUVs look ugly! ALL of them! Like 3year old's toy cars, that are made bigger so they don't choke on the parts. Like misproportioned, stretched wagons... The Urus is the ONLY SUV ever made, that looks absolutely astonishingly cool from all angles. However: Would look even cooler, if it was Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo based and not an SUV, but people are tasteless and don't understand that wagons are peak "more than two seats"-car design and not SUVs, but whatever.
TV cars. The Batmobile, the Route 66 Corvette, James Rockford's Firebird, Frank Cannon's Lincoln Mark IV, Starsky and Hutch's 76' Ford Gran Torino, Knight Rider Firebird, Magnum P.I. Ferrari 308 GTS, someone help me with more (-;
Funny you should mention that about Mercedes. Actually, the company founded by the Wright Brothers still exists. It's called, funnily enough, Curtiss-Wright. They merged withe the Curtiss company about 100 years ago, and although still somewhat still involved in aerospace, they are more of a technology company now. And of course the Peugeot Brothers are still making bicycles as well as cars.
Uh yeah Benz is still around and kicking. Wir Germans base most of our confidence on a combination of that fact, the 2014 World Cup with that 7-1 vs Brazil and the Autobahn. Without Benz, we would seize our territory to Poland, Austria and the Dutch and fade away
"M5 weighs less than Mercedes S63 AMG. Yeah, but that's a full-sized sedan" - wait a second! M5 is NOT a full-sized sedan? What is it? A compact like a Corolla? Or a mid-sized sedan like M3? It always looked bigger than either one of these to me...
I don't agree with the Lambo discussion. Sure, it has the basic shape of the Huracán, but while the Huracán is pretty tame looking (other than the wedge shape), the Temerario looks almost like a racecar, especially from the back. A lot more agressive details, than on a (base) Huracán.
The IDBuzz is a symbol of car manufacturers ignorance about what customers want…it needed to have 400 miles range to start…and like most EV makers the software and UI frankly just sucks it’s the weak point of three pre-failed cars although Tesla is pretty plain Jane the UI blows everything out of the water
The real answer is the Ferrari 355 from The Rock I was on vacation in Napa and I saw a trailer truck full of RX-8s I knew they were coming, but I was very surprised to see them. Another time, I was in Irvine and I saw a yellow Suzuki Swift sport. At the time I didn't know they were sold in Mexico
Am I the only one that was just disappointed in general by the ID Buzz. It's kind of like the new Integra. They play it off as a successor to the Bus yet it looks like every other minivan out there. It's electric but other than that its just a boring overpriced minivan. Outside of the fact that its electric there's nothing to distinct it from A Sienna or an Odyssey. It doesn't even look all that different. It's not like VW doesn't have experience in this arena. They successfully re-imagined the Beetle in the late nineties. Why not use that same formula. Lean into the retro styling. $75k will buy you a really nice restored VW Bus. Why spend $75k on an electric minivan when you can spend the same amount on the real deal.
I feel like VW is trying to have a their retro moment like the “New Beetle” was. With the Van-Living craze- I think it’s what Volkswagen feels that we are needing with the Buzz. But the range makes zero sense for that small market and the price is just the engraving on the headstone. We are in a retro style era similar to what we experienced in the early 2000s but that was small cars with big attitude and it ultimately ended up selling to the 50/60+ market. This era will do the same. The demographic they want to buy it will have to wait for table scrap remains in 15 years.
Noone's asking me but I love the Aston Martin Vanquish from 007 Die Another Day. Interesting fact, i just watched that movie not too long ago and it appears that they blow up a 993 Turbo at the beginning of the movie... oops...
Why Dougster is possibly WRONG re VW vannn. When the economy is strong America's will NOT buy small, they MAY spend $70,000 on COOL. We will see, stay tuned....
I think the ML320 from the second or third Jurassic Park movie could've been a good pick. The Ram from Twister is certainly iconic, especially with Dorothy in the bed.
Totally off-topic, just got the idea now and thought about writing it down so that maybe you read it. Quentin Tarantino wrote Cinema Speculation, a book about the movies he saw while growing up, with many details of each of those, how did they contribute to his older self, anecdotes and so on (I'm being too coincise and leaving behind a ton of stuff about it), anyway since that is becoming a good genre, I would easily see myself reading a book made by you about your young days, from the first cars that you saw around, what you felt, anctodes and so on. Would be a great read!
Why are they debating the price of the VW so much? We all know it will be $40k off MSRP in 6 months max. Acura EV just was slashed $30k for leasing and it just came out
The ID Buzz has been selling in europe for a while now and in germany is selling so badly that ALL of them have MASSIVE discounts and are stuck in dealers because nobody wants them.
I wound LOVE to replace our 2015 Sienna with the VW bit at this price I can’t. Doug is 100% wrong. The 30-40’s parent crowd would be all over this if it were cheaper.

The Lambo is dull because it belongs to Audi/VW. They make the dullest safest designed car. Every time a new golf comes out you can play the easiest game in the world, what will it look like. Same goes fo Audi with their Russian doll styling.
My favorite is Mercedes GL from that movie with Nicolas Cage. Something about treasure and nation or something like that. There was also another movie with Nicolas Cage with a Mercedes SLR, but that one was an ugly roadster version🤮
Doug reminded me with the comment about American muscle in Europe that I saw a late model second gen Camaro in all black just outside the city of Amsterdam the one time I visited Europe. I freaked out a bit (especially since its my favorite Camaro design) and took some pictures and my parents were somewhat confused at my enthusiasm.

I'd much prefer a zoom episode than no episode. This podcast has become a part of my week forint l routine
I’d much rather have a zoom episode than no episode. With Doug on the other side of the country for 3 months, they really don’t have a choice.
@@PigglyWigglyDeluxeThen don't watch??? Some of us have jobs and only listen and barely notice they aren't all together
Immortan Joe's monster truck from Fury Road for movie car
Love the close up on Kennan's reactions!
AT&T is another example of a leading company that was founded by the inventor of a product.
Doug the obnoxious carlord. I hope those guys get paid well. Doubt it.
What lol
8:22 Dougs face but what I was going to say is the Huracan had the 610 to the aventador LP700. SV to Perf to about 100. It seems normal that the Temerario has 900 if the Rev has 1000.
my tanks almost empty and I've got that much range
9:53 what if Chevy named a car the Beretta, now that would be odd.
Love Doug doing funny faces
For airplane enthusiasts, the equivalent is the Oshkosh airshow. Same deal - amazing things around every corner.
On the Temerario:
I absolutely agree with Kennan - the car is definitely not striking enough, looks way too calm.
However:
Would look even cooler, if it was Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo based and not an SUV, but people are tasteless and don't understand that wagons are peak "more than two seats"-car design and not SUVs, but whatever.
50:56 the chevy dual that rigs uses to pull the house down in leathel weapons
TV cars. The Batmobile, the Route 66 Corvette, James Rockford's Firebird, Frank Cannon's Lincoln Mark IV, Starsky and Hutch's 76' Ford Gran Torino, Knight Rider Firebird, Magnum P.I. Ferrari 308 GTS, someone help me with more (-;
Funny you should mention that about Mercedes.
The real answer is the Ferrari 355 from The Rock
I was on vacation in Napa and I saw a trailer truck full of RX-8s I knew they were coming, but I was very surprised to see them.
Its podcast time 🎉
I think the ML320 from the second or third Jurassic Park movie could've been a good pick. The Ram from Twister is certainly iconic, especially with Dorothy in the bed.
Best movie car ever: Gumball Rally - Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Spyder - one of 121 made. Columbo V12 in full song ripping through the streets of Manhattan.
I accumulated a total of 89 thousand today. I am truly grateful for all the knowledge and information you have given me over the past few weeks. I started with 5 thousand 2 months ago .God bless you Deborah
Hello!! how do you make such monthly, I'm a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe in God
Thanks to my co-worker (Johnson ) who suggested expert Deborah Davis
After I raised up to 525k trading with her I bought a new House and a car here in the
state🇺🇸 also paid for my son's
surgery....Glory to God, shalom.
Can I also do it??? My life is facing lots of challenges lately
l've always wanted to be involved for a long time but the volatility in the price has been very confusing to me. Although I have watched a lot of TH-cam videos about it but I still find it hard to understand
Ford Probe from Robocop 😆
Not to be a hater but we gotta get Filippo out of here. The guy doesn’t like cars. Can’t name a favorite movie car? A 6 year old could do that. He’s unfortunately legitimately dragging this product (the podcast) down
The Lambo is dull because it belongs to Audi/VW.
I'm 36, not a hippy and I'd like a VW Buzz. It's cool cause it's different
I love how the camera's aimed up at Doug and Kennan's face so I can see how they'd react whenever Filippo gives one of his infinite dumb inputs
26:20 wow. As a casual car enthusiast, I have to take Big Dawg's word on his main youtube channel with more grains of salt, as he has taken a sponsorship from a car manufacturer.
Times have changed, and they gotta keep Cars and Bids (as well as their channel) afloat.
Does your channel need Chinese translation?
I believe that if your videos have Chinese subtitles, it will definitely increase your car sales in the Chinese American market, or simply increase the number of channel views.
I am very happy to serve as the Chinese translator for your company's videos.
