This recipe looks incredibly delicious and appetizing. The taste is definitely incredible. Such a wonderful preparation. I really appreciate the effort you put into creating this wonderful dinner recipe, now is the time when you want to delight your taste buds with this festival of flavors. Exceptionally good presentation. Thank you for sharing. Just looking at all the goodness you have on your channel and I feel like I can't leave! Best wishes from Medy Mer cooking channel.
Amazing! That giant jug of old bay! Omg! I have no authority on the topic but I have had crab cakes in Baltimore. I was dining with a local and they asked did I want mine broiled or fried. I knew enough that broiled would certainly be the most “pure” way to experience the crab but before I could answer my dining partner answered “broiled!” On my behalf. Clearly he wouldn’t tolerate a fried crab cake at his table. The shape and the barely held together style seems very accurate to this Chicagoan. Great video Gail!
Thank you Eric...I had never eaten a crab cake prior to moving to Maryland over 30 years ago. They are soooo good! I have made hundreds of them since and it took me a long time before I figured out the simple Saltine cracker is the way to go for the filler. Some argue that white bread soaked in milk is the only option or some use store bought bread crumbs. It's a very basic recipe that has no strong flavors to mask or compete with the crab meat. I love that the sweet taste of the blue crab is the focus of this Maryland Crab Cake. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
Love love love blue crab. And that looked wonderful. And I’m sure it was. Yes I paid $50 for 1lb of lump crab meat and when I opened it it was not lump. But the container said lump. Love crab cakes
Thank you Darlene!!! Crabmeat is certainly a delicacy! That's a shame you paid for Lump and did not get it!!! What an expensive disappointment! I am so fortunate bc we actually crab the Chesapeake Bay tributaries and we eat steamed crabs just about every weekend from mid-summer to early Fall! So in most of my crab cakes, I use a combination of whatever meat is left over from the steamed crabs. Crabbing is so much fun!
Delicious food very nice nice🎉
