Apple should add a feature to delete cache files like unnecessary data

I’m a little surprised you didn’t address how to lower the infamous “OTHER” (the huge light gray bar at the end of your storage layout) that everyone has to google how on earth to lower on their iPhones.
There is no recommendations section shown. Only the list of apps.

I managed to do it, but it required some tinkering via Mac terminal. Now i can backup my iPhone’s 200GB data to 1TB external SSD. Life is better with terminal 😆
U can try to google it bro. Basically we ask terminal to create a Symbolic Link in Backup folder n this symlink will point the backup folder to external drive
I do not know why I will spend so much money on a phone that stresses operationally at every turn
I do all this, but what I REALLY want to know is how to remove that SYSTEM DATA noted in grey. It's builds up and gets quite large over time. The only way I get rid of it is by backing up my phone on my PC via iTunes and the do a restore via that backup. There must be an easier way of acomplishing this without going through all that trouble?
Its a big problem. 🤦🏻♂️ I wish there was a solution for this.
My comment was deleted and kind of long so I’m not going to retype it all but basically I said the solution is to uninstall and reinstall an app you use a lot to remove cached data. It worked for me.

Didn’t know garage band took up that much storage!
Just updated to iOS17 on my iPad Pro M2, my apple Magic Keyboard would always stop & start TH-cam, movies etc by pressing the space bar now it is only working sporadically. Also, it won’t change a folder name on the home screen, have to use iPad screen keyboard instead. Apple please help!
Why doesn’t iCloud work like Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, DropBox where everything you upload is saved on the Cloud and NOT locally unless you download it manually.

Delete apps like fb, Twitter, snap, etc and reinstall. Also turn off your phone for 5 minutes that’ll clear some cache

What I am still at lost is eventhough I deleted photos from my iPhone Photi apps, the same photos are still there in my Mac’s Photo apps and/or iCloud. There must be a setting, if I delete any photos from any of the iCloud-backed devices, it will also delete its iCloud’s content too. We need that.

Whenever I click on an app, the screen freezes because I used too much storage.
How come when you delete a photo from photos app it says, “This photo will be deleted from iCloud Photos on all of your devices.”?
We can clarify on that alert. When you use iCloud Photos it syncs the photo to iCloud and to your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID with iCloud Photos enabled. Any action made to the photos, will be made across all devices.

HELP ME PLEEEEASE. I currently have iOs 14, I’m at 57gb out of 64gb. And yes I’ve deleted a whole bunch of apps, photos etc. I used a hack to get down to to 57gb. Originally it was 54gb but out of no where it increase again. My storage states that APPs, system, and other es are taking up all the space. Wtf can I do? I only have 10 apps outta the 25 I originally had. I’ve deleted sooooooo much stuff, and still. PS AFTER GETTING MY STORAGE DOWN TO 54gb THE IOS17 UPDATE VANISH. Every time I try to check for an update I get an error. And yes my phone is comparable

as someone who has had to offload like all the apps on my iPad, this is not really accurate, i offload like a GB worth of apps and i'm still getting that stupid "your iPad storage is full" message, i love watching your videos but make them more accurate please.
