The amount of times Dust 514 was mentioned in this video has me cautiously optimistic about Vanguard
I was SO hyped for Dust514.
... and then I was disappointed beyond words.
feel like EvE is in a constant state of "future visions" since 2011. Dust 514 never forgetti
Dust514 Never Forget
Dust 514 never forget
Alamo1836 never forgetti
I remember when they announced Dust 514. I was so excited to play it as a PC player. Then they never released it on PC. Instead releasing it as shovelware at the end of a console's life. What a gigantic waste of time and effort.
@@moonasha I remember when the eve ship was destroyed and we Dust Mercs watched it crash into the planet. And it stayed in the background of that map forever.
Dust514 was my all time favorite game
Same here, same here, so excited for what Vanguard may bring!
Going to be nothing like dust sorry
YO SAME
Personnellement c'est LE jeu qui m'a fait reprendre la manette ^^
Hâte de pouvoir replonger dans cet univers 😎
Dust 514, We miss you!
DUST 514, its all most of us want, drop the extraction shooter model (its a dying one) and give me conquest and orbital strikes.
"EVE Vanguard is an online sci-fi sandbox FPS set in the EVE Universe" will believe that when we see it
There's nothing wrong with the concept of an extraction shooter. It fits EVE pretty well considering items are persistent.
The implementation in Vanguard is a bit weird though, considering the maps are pretty small compared to the space game environments. In EVE you're mostly alone (unless you're with a fleet) but in Vanguard you're loaded into a match with other people. It's kind of a weird situation.
No extraction is needed for personel, will just spin up a new clone! :D Althoug I can see how extraction could get important in the shape of rare implants and what not.
@@teeborg1519 Thinking of the broader game, for npc contracts, those npc factions would supply the clones, but for player contracts, those player orgs would need to supply the clones and put them into position.
I have a fantasy of one day exploring EVE in a space ship, finding a point of interest in the EVE game, dropping a warclone on the location, and then exploring that location in Vanguard. Or alternatively, play with another person and act as over watch in EVE while my friend does the grunt boots on the ground stuff.
I don't understand why developers are chasing the extraction shooter thing. Nobody wants to play it. It's only popular because people like to watch it on streams. The actual gameplay is not fun for your average mid skill player who doesn't play games as a job.
A reimagining of what Dust 514 was, where Vanguards/Dust Mercs/FPS Empyreans surgically extract things that Capsuleers can't even get near, is a great idea.
Dust was primarily only for Factional Warfare. But it doesn't take much imagination for why Null Sec Capsuleers would want to hire a Merc Squad to infiltrat a pirate base, or Rogue AI Hive in their space.
An the extraction shooter model is ag reat idea for this. Fuck... Fuck... CCP Might pull me back.
Ok ccp what you do lately is great. Now hear me out, could we get station character interaction back please ? :3
I really miss walking to my ship and realise how huge it is
+1 on this. Open up the stations for interaction; WIS
o7 i want to see that
Why. Did they even take it away feels hollow without it.
I remember the time I cheered for Dust and Valkyrie.
They should bring Valkirie out of the VR scene and release that as a space flight combat game.
@@grothaal They did. And it died.
Just minding my own business trying to survive in the trenches when goonswarm pulls up and glasses the planet.
Dust 514 was awesome, I'm now interested again.
Literally bought a PS3 just for Dust 514 lol.
Something I've been thinking about a lot recently, is that I think the smartest option for an engaging New Eden FPS experience would be to enact something of a combination of ideas from Helldivers 2, Titanfall 2, and Escape From Tarkov:
- Primarily PvE content a la Helldivers 2, with Vanguard getting dropped into randomized warzones consummate with whatever Requests are posted on the maps
-> Progress the difficulty out based on Hi, Low, and Nullsec, just like the main game
-> Additionally, have the requests be posted by the various factions
- PvP content could be a combination of opportunistic "invasions" of vanguard (a la Dark Souls) and pitched, scheduled "battles" a la Titanfall's Attrition mode, where a majority of the soldiers are AI troops with their own movement sets, behaviors, and objectives, while Vanguards take the role of special troops
-> This maximizes the "feel" of the battle being large across the galaxy with what will likely be a low starting player base that will increase and stabilize over time
- Progress could be recorded via various faction quests a la Escape From Tarkov, rewarding players with new arms, armor, and equipment, and access to better Strategems, in addition to battlefield scavenging and an extraction mechanic like Titanfall 2
- Interactions with EVE Online could take the form of loot transport requests, fire support requests, and special mission types involving salvaging components of destroyed ships, either crashed on the ground or wrecks in-orbit; or being deployed to "siege" opponents' infrastructure (using the aforementioned Attrition Mode) with the option of being able to seize, rather than destroy
-> Imagine finally getting to see the inside of capital ships and stations!
I have myriad other thoughts but I'm at work and I have a meeting coming up, ping me for more if anyone cares lol.
Edit #1: Additionally, adding in "roles" with specific on-battlefield jobs or sub-objectives a la Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and allowing any weapons to be mixed with any role a la Frontlines: Fuel of War, would allow for the variable gameplay and actions EVE is known for.
Does 514 was my all-time favorite game
I look forward to more game play. You can definitely look to Helldivers 2 for inspiration on how ships can affect the ground war
Winter Forever, more like.
Dust 514 already did orbital bombardments with differing ammo/effects about a decade ago. Stuff like vehicles and large equipment was also brought in by ships, like the dropships that brought in your tanks. We didn't control it, but things like turrets were being dropped from orbit as well. So it's safe to say they are aware of how ships can affect the ground units if they were doing it...10 years or so back? It has been a while, not sure on when exactly the orbitals were added. I'm more interested on if they have anything new planned on top of what dust had. Obviously, tech has advanced since ye ole ps3 days and you can do quite a lot now with the two games interacting in theory.
@@sinbotosimmons7624 yeah, I played DUST514.
I am saying they can learn from Helldivers2, maybe put in a "dungeon master".
Or NPC ships to help the ground troops but if a EVE pilots wants to mess with the ground troops they can kill the NPC ships.
@@ericb1882 I'm not sure CCP would disrupt the game with a dungeon master as it were. Their whole stick is having players run the experience, obviously stepping in if something gets truly out of hand, usually with the economy and or plex involved. From what they are talking about they seem to also be working on connecting the EvE and Vanguard economy so drastic changes could seriously tick people off.
Unlike Helldivers, where the whole loop is: deploy, win or lose, bar goes up or down and maybe you get a bonus. Imagine, for example, every planet gets attacked in a section of nullsec/lowsec like during one of Helldivers big events. Disrupting the infrastructure heavily for an alliance.
As an EvE player, I can tell you that for any enemy alliances, they instantly throw hands. My enemy alliance is occupied with the chaos of trying to fix a sudden event, let's get em. In the short term this would generate content, but also a lot of blowback. Unlike Helldivers where we (should anyway) are working together EvE very much leans towards conflict between players for assets or content. I'm not sure how they would both make Vanguard feel impactful and not tick off the EvE players doing something like this. Feel free to correct me of course, hell, I'll even go to the Vanguard discord with you and present the idea.
As for the NPC ships, maybe, there's the whole thing with the deathless being connected to the pirate factions so who knows? Honestly, they seem to not want to do things like hiring NPCs in general even in EvE online. Hiring pirates to raid enemy space or support an advance and such is cool but they don't seem too keen on it.
havent played eve online in almost a decade I only come around to see the trailers and videos but this kinda looks cool
So still trying to build Dust 514, great concept wish it was never killed to begin with. Also be good to tie this into PI, ability to drop troops and destroy somebodies PI setup from the ground or atleast impact their yield :D
Goons would just nuke you from orbit if you jacked with any of their shit.
Dust 514 was amazing! Thee best fps I’ve played and still is.
Dust 514 was my all time favorite game. To this day im still chasing the high that game gave me and i hope this is it
4:00 'cater' to as many play styles, and you will cater to no one.
Huh?
"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
Bartle's taxonomy would like a word with you
@reilly_sharky_reese Never heard that quote before, where does it come from, if I may ask?
eve already caters to a lot of different play styles. Maybe that's why making mmos is hard.
As a MAG and Dust 514 Veteran. I can’t wait 😎👍🏻🙌🏻🔥.
Give us orbital bombardments and proper large-scale battles being a possibility, like Dust 514 had. That was the best part of Dust 514; The combination of "casual" matches with genuine large-scale impacts on EVE Online. Hopefully this title will offer a large variety of content, ranging from hardcore, high-consequence situations to casual battles.
Imma be honest, i have never felt love towards shooters ever and i joined the EVE Online community pretty late in the pipeline (around 2011 or so) but i always felt the way forward to that vision was just to allow capsuleers to get planet content on 1st/3rd person, not just shooting guns at each other but mining, exploring and so on, much like the spaceship content.
Tanks and aircraft and clone soldiers on power armor with big guns fighting over districts was a novelty concept yeah but all the cool systems the spaceship game already has like fittings and mods and deep industry trees tied to manufacturing could have been reused and expanded to give a deep planetary community of resource harvesters, looters, pirates and merchants.
Rattati looks like he came from soaking at the Sky Lagoon straight to the set. :D
Not much on the first shooters like this myself. But knowing that I could potentially make Isk off of this does have my attention.
I believe in the vision.
"From the formless void, there springs an entity.."
This game gonna live next 100 years and even after humanity will be extinct
Brings back so many good memories of playing Dust on my ps3. I cant wait to Play
I enjoyed 514 so much, looking forward to fighting again :D
I have been praying for this for a decade
This can compete against mobile fps Arena Breakout play style. If this Vanguard can connect with EVE Online corporations and spaceships, this is all time high tech sophisticated game.
I really like the concept of Vanguard but worry about 2 things:
1) This is being pushed to eve online players currently (maybe this will change), which restricts the target market considerably, in doing so would we end up with fewer players?
2) The successful FPS or MMOFPS like planetside 2, fortnite, etc all use the F2P model, Vanguard currently requires an omega subscription and later a one time purchase, how will this game compete with other free FPS games to attract people who are FPS players?
Smart concerns mate, it actually does sound like some difficult issues to overlook. Add to that Eve online already has a very high floor of entry because of how much the game has, and how long it takes to get into things. It makes it exceptionally hard to pull people really.
Tarkov has a one time purchase and is insanely successful.
🔫WE GETTING DUST 515 WITH THIS ONE YALL 🔫
Forever Dust 514 ❤
Dust 514 was really great. Hope they keep the large scale feeling.
que recuerdos del EVE Dust 514, la pasaba tan bien jugandolo, todavia lo tengo instalado en mi PS3
Dust 514 and L.O.T.I.S. me and my friend have been missing this game for years!!! I just went through notes on this game I took for me and my friend
I really hope that this game isn't just an extraction shooter. In fact, if this game is literally just a copy and paste of Dust 514 but for PC I'd be really happy.
I'm looking forward to see where you guys go with this. I think it'll be pretty fun if players can see a number of objectives on a map (including the contracts associated with them) and choose to engage in any of those operations. Obviously the engagements need a greater variety than what we've previously had, but I think you guys have a solid foundation to start from.
I'm not a fan of the timed mission aspect of the matches, at least as it currently stands. If you wish to keep the timed aspect, I'd prefer if the timer was a warning about incoming bombardment or drone swarms. If you go the bombardment route, it should be something actually being delivered by npcs in space, npcs EVE players can shoot to delay the bombardment. Likewise, if you go the drone swarm route, they should be delivered by dropship or air transport.
I remember playing Dust 514 back in my ps3 with choosing a faction and head right into the fight. I never had a good computer at the time so I never knew much on Eve online itself. I never knew the orbital strikes were coming from an actual player ship or I never knew all the battles have actual impact in the eve online universe. I just geared up and joined the fight with the faction I chosen to fight with. I have a lot of fun playing Dust 514 and it intense battlefield, and some time later having learned all of the mechanics I never knew about and surprised me. I'm glad to have a chance to play Dust 514.
I checked much what I can learned from Vangaurd and feeling....skeptical. It kinda feels like a looter/shooter/survival type of game. but again its in the early stages and I hope the Vangaurd improves and takes inspiration from dust 514.
Looks very cool, l hope raiding command centers or similar becomes a thing.
Since Dust514 I never enjoed to play any FPS. I hope it's gonna bring me same experience or even better👍
Will the UI for the PI system within Eve Online be part of Vanguard? I enjoyed Dust514 and played it. I used to have Dust514 on monitor 2 and Eve on Monitor 1 on my desk. I hope we have a UI that integrates with Vanguard data on planets and expand ground battles with tanks, infantry, larger height maps. I would enjoy planetary bombardments.
Im so hype for this
Dust 514 completely took over my life.
It actually made my heart racing
I think Dust 514 was the best SPF I've ever tried. Even after Destiny, Warframe, I really believe in the potential of this sequel. But please, don't forget the communication between players in Dust 514, which kept us in the game for a long time, even when we weren't in a planetary war. Furthermore, I see some mechanisms that can improve, like the hacking system that I saw in this video, it could be a device that we glue to its base and let it do it, I don't understand the reason for using the weapon for such a ritual as the enemy approaches. In fact, I haven't played the beta yet, due to the cost of omega. but if so, the mechanism is breaking the game a little. leave some automatic action animations, with the possibility of cancellation. this way we can have a feeling of fluidity in the actions.
After the dropping of Dust and Valkyrie, especially the dropping of the latter after taking players money, I wouldn't trust CCP despite their grandiose plans.
Do you even consider giving me that damn Creodron Shotgun and close quarter's pvp
:55 Yes it’s high stakes gameplay. But because of the value that’s placed on everything is equated to a PLEX or dollar, not solely based off of the players whom invested time and effort into building things, as presented.
Maybe, but Tarkov is extremely high stakes, there is no currency that equates to real dollars. I think it's more the permanent loss and the fact that just having the most expensive stuff doesn't mean you will win a fight against someone running basic gear/ships but with deeper game knowledge.
This still feels a bit like hedging bets on the concept. Conquest Conquest Conquest. Without ownership, its gonna feel hollow. I do appreciate the mention of suit fittings. bit by bit we are coming full circle back to dust. And thats a good thing.
Fingers crossed!
Is it in the Eve universe in fiction, or is there significant interaction with singularity?
I'm still hoping for a Dust 514 revival
This is it...
Pretty excited for where this goes. I'm glad they are basing contracts on eve players, it would be awful if vanguard players can't play because of lack of contracts. And eve players have proven to be somewhat lifelong players.
That said it certainly needs more engaging gameplay. Even with helldivers people are worried about it's longevity, it was fun for a bit but has been pretty slow now. If they can nail the gameplay I can see a very bright future for this. I personally don't like extraction shooters, but if they add a pvp aspect, I would be interested.
Battlefield 2042 was one of my favorites for big arenas with ground and space battles rolled into one.. make something like that and I'll be hooked back in.
Turn this fps into a polished star citizen state and you got yourself a mega game
Esperamos y sea verdad, tengo años esperando un nuevo shooter de EVE desde DUST 514, espero no nos defrauden
ок будем посмотреть...
Need vehicle friendly maps and grenades asap
Let’s. Go.
The good news is, it's hard to multibox a FPS ;)
Please tell us that you are going to implement a fitting system for Vanguard... pleaseee
absolutely, and we began with the most difficult part, total weapon customization, something we never had for Dust 514, but always dreamed about. Chipsets that modify the weapon behaviour are already in the game!
How many times have we been down this road..
Too many.
Please ForgeGun this gun is my favorite and my life❤
Give new Eden walking in stations
We had it 10 years ago. They removed it.
I miss valkyrie. Even as a mini-game. Either turret PVE or Dogfight PVP/PVE, both would be great.
one time purchase? now im really interested
Cool…. Any content for Titans yet ?
I think they could boost development by reusing Dust 514 assets
Something tells me they can't do that because of an agreement with sony.
@@TheMaw365 Sad!
Does this game will have some kind of direct integration with Eve Online? Something like selection a system/planet/station on dispute and select "Deploy here" to see the mission options would be greeaaat.
(Maybe freezing the graphics of Eve Online for max performance of Vanguard, and launch Vanguard directly to that match or region to play, just a suggestion.. :P )
At this stage I d be happy just to play dust 514 one more time
will station air be decontaminated for capsuleer consumption soon?
remember that time when Dust 514 was unplayable on PC....
Every thing in here is 100% true and important. The EVE vets who have not touched a SINGLE OTHER GAME in 20 years don't know what they want because they can't see outside their bubble of "I am a spaceship. I wish I could be in WW2"
I want to fight robots on an abandoned space station, fps, during a mission.
Its hard to make video game but ccp cant introduce even a single new weapon or some character customization in almost a year?
WTF is happening down there, we want video game, not a virtual market place
Brother, Vanguard hasn't been player accessible for more than 8 months, the first playtest was in December.
@@reilly_sharky_reese whiners gonna whine.
Eve FPS, great! That'll mean very low reward loops, tedious gameplay and a removal of careers you've literally spent 10 years and £thousands creating on a whim as part of a balance patch. Can't wait! CCP a company that prefers numbers balancing over delivering fun!
👀
Dropships for life
Can we actually get this on PC instead of on PS3 a year before the platform reached end of life? Thanks
A reboot of Dust
Planetside 3 confirmed!
Third time's the charm
I wish this game well, and wish the devs had been more open about the game long time ago.
This game will NOT succeed if the core of the game is to remain an extraction shooter. I have been saying this since they opened it to us dust514 vets. After the 3rd play test I have stopped all together testing. The game is not fun. Extraction is too niche. And doing niche inside of an already niche environment seems like a waste of space.
The mechanics of the mini games scattered throughout the map are extremely meh. I hate with a passion when opening any container you have to be looking directly at it.
Look, this is not the game that was sold to any of us over the years, and it will fail due to low player count and not being fun.
o7
agreed. The whole extraction shooter vibe doesn't really fit with Eve's grand scale.
Now that I saw this video I realize and hope that they just made the first iterations an extraction shooter just to have a simple gameplay loop in place with the main focus just on tweaking and iterating on core mechanics.
It will certainly fail as an extraction shooter.
You know what would complement Eve well? Something that takes inspiration from Planetside.
After the first one, I've not touched it or allowed it to update. Extraction shooters are boring.
I agree that something like Planetside is what I believe the playerbase would like in EVE (DUST 514 was so close, better than Vanguard though).
Per Q&As and developer words the game isn't intended to be just an extraction shooter. By how much the extraction mechanic will play a factor or not as it grows I do not know, but I can understand why its the basis for the playtests from a feedback and data gathering perspective.
It's a shame you missed the Solstice June playtest, it made some serious strides in terms of fun and additional activities while also featuring a much more focused map design.
@@Jake-yf3gv I disagree that an extraction shooter doesn't fit EVE... EVE is a persistent sandbox, so having items also be persistent is definitely something that fits EVE. That said, I don't like the timed match aspect of the game mode they've been working on and they certainly need multiple modes of play, both PVE and team based PVP (planetary conquest / fw / sov warfare.)
Lazerhawks brand placement?
Very smart expansion, the FPS-genre is very saturated and it's difficult to break into to it, but... What's good here, is that Eve is already an established game and so has the reputation and hopefully funding to make something different and worthwhile. Eve did always seemed uninteresting, due to what seems to be a less casual group play atmosphere. Usually however, FPS games don't have this atmosphere and playing that, could tempt me to give Eve a chance, although I am someone who prefers to not feel forced to be active in some guild to experience the game.
Bring back the jukebox, please.
We don't have fleet battles anymore because shit is too expensive and everyone is afraid to undock. End scarcity.
Afraid to undock. In a PvP game. Sounds like a skills issue to me...
I just want a civ like with turn based or rts combat on the planet for mats. Pi is just so lacking.
I get the vision for Vanguard but I think this iteration is going about it weird.
The goal looks to be to make maps you just drop into and do whatever. More or less spawn points are like EVE's jump gates, then you just do whatever in the sandbox provided. What you can do in space you can do on land. On paper that sounds fine. The current execution of parts has been less than stellar.
The adaptive weaponry system feels boring. When you can just craft ammo to get yourself out of any situation nothing feels important anymore. My weapon and its damage type doesn't matter since I can adapt it on the fly to anything. Dust 514 at least made it so I had to make decisions that would affect my experience. My Flaylock pistol was cool but it was explosive damage and I couldn't change it so if I was facing a shield tanking heavy with an HMG I was stuck having to fall back or pray they were weakened from another fight. If I pulled nanite grenades and everyone had shields up I had weak grenades then, I couldn't just craft EMPs to counter my enemies. If my gear was a poor choice for the fight that was on me. If I could equip an item that let me switch ammo types that would be fine since I'd have to plan in advance and select my second option which has its own strengths and weaknesses (changing a laser rifle's crystal from Multifrequency [low range, high damage mix of EM and thermal] to Radio [high range, low damage and only EM]). You shouldn't be able to deftly adapt to every situation, weapons and builds need points of failure otherwise you end up with a hyper narrow meta which will be lowest recoil AR with highest damage per shot and sniper rifle with highest damage per shot. It also just doesn't feel fair if your enemy can just counter your every move.
The different systems like salvaging are cool but the current way the game is designed with set matches and people dropping in makes those non-combat roles less appealing to people. Who wants to be the salvage guy when you know there's people hunting for PvP and will drop you for simply existing? That is a curse of extraction shooters, they're just single life death matches with loot. That has to be taken into account because it's an inevitability. If the game expands to be perpetually open zones that you pick and choose where to drop then it'll be great, miners, salvagers, ratters, and the like will have opportunities to do their thing and occasionally fight AI that might drop them and continue the economy of mine -> create -> destroy.
Extracting is by itself not bad but the current way the game is made with small maps and currently small teams doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. The structure of being loaded into a match instead of simply dropping into a continually active zone pulls this back out of the pure sandbox experience.
There's also a lot of questions to be asked. Are epic arcs planned? Will we get agents to do quests for or are we 100% bound to EVE players wanting things? Will there be a ground component to Sansha Incursions? Currently those incursions can go real fast so the overall 'health' of the event might need to be adjusted and are you willing to make that change? Are vehicles planned? Are player counts going to increase? 3 man teams are going to be in a rough spot if people can roll up with a Gunnlogi tank or a Myron dropship. You can't give players the ability to just pull antivehicle weapons or grenades out from nowhere since that'll just make people not use vehicles since the cost of them will far outstrip the timer to spawn AV grenades or additional ammo.
I'm not even going to go into things like MCCs, warbarges, PI, large scale fights, abyssal deadspace, wormhole space and the like because we could be here for a while.
The game feels more like a vertical slice of what could be done as opposed to a project in the works, something you show to investors over something you show to players.
I want it to be a revival of Dust 514, big teams fighting over territory and structures, combined arms, the works. I just worry certain important elements aren't going to translate well to this new game or won't be included.
The funny part of all of this too is I left feedback in the discord where people were supposed to leave feedback and was shouted at by "fans" who refused to accept any criticism or concern about the direction of the game. Not going to get good feedback if people act like feral dogs upon any dissenting opinion that shows up.
I hope this game releases soon! Not to play it, but to inevitably fail (as all other FPS-es they tried), CCP Rattati and Burger get fired and then we might get good expansions in EVE again. Fingers crossed it happens soon!
Good expansions like what?
@@Jeff55369 Take a look at the last EVE expansion, the Equinox. Did you check it out? Yes? Well, the good expansion is exactly an opposite of that. First of all, it was completely untested. Second of all, it was poorly thought out, with numbers (additional scarcity + tedium for miners) first in mind. No thought about FUN factor in a VIDEO GAME. Then, as a bonus you have over-the-top monetization in barebones new game feature called SKINR. I could go on an on, but you get the point. CCP at this point is completely incompetent in video game design. They were bad, but since 2007 (when I started playing) I would say team leading the game today is the worst it ever was.
Not even 40 secondss in and we see Xray vision... X x x x
"It is about human emotions, it is about human interactions" - oh God, did someone invite David Cage?
I'll be honest, as much as I want this game to succeed, I see a major problem. Being a shooter, the online space for shooters nowadays is filled with cheaters, aimbotters, ESP users-you name it. You're facing that stuff every single game in modern shooters. I fear this game will be plagued by cheaters and it will kill its success.
Another concern is the potential scenario similar to "Escape from Tarkov," where the company had to spend its profits on anti-cheating software and combating cheating. I feel this game might fall into the same trap, spending a lot of money to address the cheating problem.
For those who think I'm exaggerating, I'm not. Cheating is a business, and there are people who will do anything to win, including cheating. You see it all the time in games like Call of Duty and Battlefield.
How about removing the ESS system from eveonline ? anyone thought of that ?
What does the ESS Bounty System have to do with EVE Vanguard?
Why would you remove it ? It's good to have pvp opportunities

They are. The fps is part of EVE.
They should have simply revived dust 514 with huge improvements instead...gameplay was sick
DUST514を忘れない
CCP doesent realise they have the wrong people in charge of game design. They think EVE Online is dying because its an old game. So they give the people who dont know anything about games a bag of money to make a brand new game. I guess when that fails to succeed they will start asking the right questions? Or maybe not. They will probably find something else to blame
They'll release a new ship skin.
It will never be a successor if there is not a vehicle Kombat
So foxhole but eve?
